Hello, my Ipad2 shows loading screen but does nothing.

The little wheel thing 's going around in the middle of a black screen.
The Ipad doesn't work since more than 12 hours now.
When I plug it into my computer, Itunes shows error Ox8000065.
What can I do?

Have you tried rebooting it by pressing the home and off button together until the apple reappears. Ignore the slider

This sounds like it may be a firmware problem. The first thing to do is check to see if there are any available firmware update. I'll include a link to those instructions below. Next, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Plugging the printer into a surge protector, power strip, or power backup can cause it to become under powered resulting in strange problems like this one. If the firmware is up to date and plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet doesn't help, follow the steps in the document below. If that doesn't help, you will need to replace the printer. .AVI file has white screen but does have sound...

I have an .AVI file someone sent me which by using QT Pro shows just a white screen but does have audio.
I have Perian installed and it didn't help with the white screen. I have opened it fine in VLC player, and a couple of other media players but my issue is that I want to import the AVI file into iMovie so I can make it into a DVD. However, if I import it into iMovie, it will be the same white screen with audio.
I have searched the web far and wide to find a solution and most are saying it could be only viewable in QT on a PC of all things.
Is there any components out there which will help me with this problem? Any other suggestions?

But when I selected the problematic AVI file it too appeared with a white screen w/sound in MPEG Streamclip. So I realized it wouldn't help me either.
A white screen usually means the selected video codec is not compatible with the actual file. Normally, I would run a conflict test. Based on your previous posts regarding the compression formats in use and the video codec attempting to perform video playback, my first guess would be that the Perian component is trying to decode a DivX (possibly v5) file. I would probably either temporarily remove the Perian component and see if the AVI file plays or remove and then replace the DivX component (if the latest one is already installed) and see if this changes the component access order so DivX is called for video playback. If you have an older DivX component installed, there may be a conflict issue. (Remember to close QT while removing/replacing components so the list will be re-initialized before making a playback test.) If all else fails, try posting a sample file so we can see if the problem can be duplicated on other systems/configurations.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Tried it several times but it did not work, though i can use the phone and all features even after 13 failed attempts.
Should restriction passcode be different from what i set?

There is no default restriction password. If you didn't set it someone else may have. If you can't find it then you may have to follow the steps here:
Forgot passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or ...
Do you have a backup which might not have this restriction passcode? If so restore to that backup?

I can't answer that. I'm just a user. Apple makes it decisions and does not share that with anyone here as you well know. Apple has also stopped supporting syncing contacts and calendar with the latest version of OS X, Mavericks. Users have to use iCloud. Many are not happy about that. All you can do is try restoring the device. If you are unable to you'll most likely have to get the iPod repaired.

The "Show All Bookmarks" feature "does nothing", no window!

Whether I use the key command or click the menu option, the "Show All Bookmarks" feature "does nothing - no window appears. I see an item in the Window menu, but there is no window.

Do you have all your bookmarks in the sidebar (Ctrl+B), if you do there is nothing wrong with your places.sqlite as far as bookmarks go, next check to see if you have history in the sidebar (Ctrl+H)
And before you consider deleting or renaming your places.sqlite
If you are using an external monitor with a laptop try moving the library window back to the laptop. Try searching on just a colon ":" in the bookmarks Library List.

Try in Firefox Safe Mode to make sure extensions are not part of the problem.
May fix problem -- not likely but you have a lot to lose if you lose data from places.sqlite so worth the trouble to try first.

Next try a bookmarks backup and restore, this may fix problems, I've never had to delete or rename my places.sqlite file yet, which would lose history, which is needed for the AwesomeBar to work properly or anything else that involves history.
