Depending on the sites being visited you may be transferring some big and detailed files which mean a load on the system. The projected battery life times are not a guarantee, only a suggestion of what you will get.
Again, if you are concerned about the performance you can take the unit to an Apple store and have it tested. -

This support document http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4451 relates to the 3194 error. Generally this error has to do with trying to install an iOS that is not the most current. Maybe you tried to jailbreak the phone, or downgrade iOS? Any of this apply to you?

my iphone just stopped connecting to my wifi and i have tried all the recommended troubleshooting with no success. Also when i send a text , it shows it coming from my email address instead of my cell #. i dont receive any text going to my cell #. help
If i understand what you are saying then you are seeing the WiFi indicator after connecting but Apps are saying that they are not connected to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be to restart your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc. -

You can try restoring the iPod. However, it could be that the battery is going bad.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished onewith a new battery for $79. They do not fix yours.

I've only had this phone since Sept. and have already had to have the speaker replaced. NOW I can't access wifi and/or bluetooth (both are grey). I can't use the Personal Hotspot either (and the passcode no longer shows up). I can only access internet via the phone through the USB. This started over the past few days (and after I updated to IOS).
Some of my apps no longer work either...over 100+ hours of audiobooks on Audible can't be accessed as the Audible app just shuts off.
Any recommendations on how to recify? I'm pretty rural so downloaded anything takes going to the next town over to get a signal from the library... and all of my searching is eating into my 5gb limit through ATT....so it is a bit irritatingcalled Apple Care this a.m....new upgrade on 12/31/12 is supposed to fix the "bug"

This most likely is a hardware failure that requires replacement, but try the suggestions in the following support article first:

IPhone 5 works fine with incoming calls and audio books but no one can hear me talk.
I have an add-on blue tooth system in my older Prius and it worked perfectly for a couple of years. I can still receive phone calls and listen to audio books through my radio speakers but all of a sudden my callers could no longer hear my voice so I have to switch the phone audio source to iPhone so they can hear me. This happened when I had the iPhone 4 and has continued with the iPhone 5. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
Hi, Did you test to see if after 2 or 3 mins the phone started working correctly? mine does then it will work for a day or 2 on every call then I have to do the same thing again.

Help! iPhone 5 works with iCloud for Contacts and Photo Stream, but Not Music!
Okay, totally stumped! I have an iPhone 5, which, new, I restored from wife's iPhone 4 backup, remotely (3 Months ago). I just signed into our family Apple ID, chose the most recent backup, and did a restore. So, contacts, and photos and Apps backup to the cloud instantly, which is shared on all devices. Likewise, when my wife takes a phone picture, I can see it in the stream: all without doing an iTunes Sync. My phone's settings have my number associated with my contact card, so the phone doesn't "think" it is my wife's phone.
The dilemna: iCloud won't send my phone new music purchases from our iMac, or iPad. My phone has it's own physical identity on Find My iPhone, but interestingly, it does not appear in the list of devices, in the "Manage my Devices" section when I am signed into iTunes with my Apple ID. Furthermore, even though I have the phone settings to Sync with iTunes wirelessly, when plugged into AC power, with iTunes on, the iPhone 5 does initiate backups with iTunes; even after rebooting iTunes. My phone does not appear in the list of devices for iTunes, AND the only way I can sync with my computer is with the USB/Lightning cable. Even then, I do not get music purchases to load onto my iPhone which i have bought on my computer.
Currently running Mac OSX 10.7.5 on my iMac and IOS 6.1 on my iPhone5.

THANKSThe way I do that is to organize them on my computer. I periodically import all of the Camera Roll to the computer. That is a good thing to do to insure you have a copy in case of loss of the phone or other problem, even if you backup the phone. Import can be done by methods described in iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
Once they are on the computer I organize them in iPhoto on my Mac. If you have a Windows computer you can organize them in folders. Once they are on the computer I delete them all from the Camera Roll on the phone to make it easier next time -- i.e., the Camera Roll always only contains the photos that I haven't yet organized.
I only want some of the pictures that I am keeping to be sent back to the phone, so in Windows I made a second copy of those (in iPhoto on a Mac I use Albums instead). I had a main folder (e.g. "Photos for iPhone") and subfolders (only 1 level below the main folder) with various topics. Then use iTunes to sync the photos back to the phone (selecting the main folder). iTunes: Syncing photos
The end result is that they are organized in Albums on the phone, are not in the Camera Roll, and I have a copy of them on my computer. -

When I select a video from my favorites list (this is in the YouTube app—not through the Safari browser), I get the error message "You do not have permission to access the requested resource." My sister has said she has gotten the same message on her iPhone 3GS.
The work around is to kill the YouTube process (double press the home key to bring up the recent apps list, press and hold on the YouTube icon until the red minus sign appears, then tap on the minus sign). When you restart YouTube, it works.
However, invariably, the next day, when I try again, I get the same message, and have to kill YouTube again. -
