Please help me, ive lost my ipod at a sjopping and have gone to the icloud but its never connected to the internet, do i hire a hacker? and if i do, which?

No app on the iPod is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or conbtinue to show off-line.

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

As Guido said, you can use BootCamp to partition the drive. If you want to install, or reinstall Windows. You would launch BootCamp and it will actually guide you through the installation, you will only need to decide how large a partition you want. I would use BootCamp, I would not use disk utility. When you have installed Windows and you want to boot into windows, when you start your MBP hold down the option key, this will give you trha option of booting Mac OSX or Windows.

If the device has been connected to your computer and a backup was saved, open the itunes program and click edit>preferences>devices
This will show the date and time of the last backup you created, hover the cursor over the backup and it will show your serial number.
If you have the original box you can find it on the back also.

If it does not charge with the mains charger and does not appear in iTunes when you connect it try a different cable. Also try cleaning the connector on the bottom of the phone with a dry toothbrush and inspect it for bent pins.

White screen on my ipod touch, what can I do? Tried the reset and restore and niether one worked.

Over the weekend my ipod Touch, generation 3, turned to a white screen. I didn't drop it or anything, just turned it on and it was white. I do have a third party keyboard installed (fleksy), and I removed english and emoji from the keyboards list in settings before rebooting the ipod. When it booted up, it asked for my device password with the default keyboard, but I can't type any letters with accent marks, so I can't enter the password. I figured I could fix this by restoring a backup and changing my password, but I can't restore a backup without turning off Find My iPod - which of course requires me to unlock the device with the device password, which I can't do. Am I stuck here? Is there anything at all that I can do?

I've tried all suggestions about saving bookmarks--still can't do it and I used to be able to--what can I try now?

I've tried all the moves from the Firefox Help, but still I can't save bookmarks. Yes--I've gone into Safe mode, checked everything, still can't do it. What next? I'll have to continue to use Safari, I guess.

If you restored to factory defaults/new iPod and are still haveing the problem than an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I've spoken with Apple and here is their response (worked for me). You need to uninstall not only iTunes, but also (in this order):
1) iTunes
2) Apple Software Update
3) Apple Mobile Device Support
4) Bonjour
5) Apple Application Support
Then you restart your computer. Then you install the latest version of iTunes (which will reinstall all those things you uninstalled). Then you restart your computer again.

The contacts and calendar data on my iPod touch will not sync with my Mac

I have a 2nd generation ipod touch, and an iMac running iTunes 8.2.1.
I have been away from my mac for a few months and have entered a lot of contact and calendar info into my ipod touch.
Now, when I try to sync the contacts and calendar data on my ipod touch with my mac, the data will not sync to my mac.
Similarly, for the last couple months, the contact and calendar data on my ipod touch has not been able to sync with my mobileme account.
I cannot afford to lose the contact and calendar data on my ipod touch.
Can anyone kindly inform me how to fix this syncing problem without losing such data?
