Well, the key thing here is this:
The GPU Sniffer crashed on 2/12/2013 at 7:13:21 PM
What this means is that the combination of display driver and video card in your system are so egregiously broken than Photoshop can't even ask them what they're capable of doing, let alone use them.
Your best next step is to visit nVidia.com and download and install their latest display driver for that (seriously outdated) video card.
But the performance of that card is about 1/5 what's needed to accelerate Photoshop well. I advise you start thinking about replacing the card with a modern one. There are several modern models for under a hundred bucks that run 10 times faster at least, and such a change would make all aspects of using your computer more pleasant.

so my iphone 4 that is using ios5 keeps freezing when i want to dial, or receive call. i can use all my other apps but cant use the phone to call because the freezing problem. i know some people that are having the same problem too. what can i do?
I got the same problem. The percentage of getting this problem is around 10% of all my dial/receive calls.
The problem usually appears when I receive calls. The phone app will freeze, and I cannot dial or receive calls even I closed the phone app, however, most other apps work properly.
Once this problem happens, I will not be able to turn off the phone by holding sleep button, the only way I can get rid of it is holding sleep and home button at the same time to reset the iphone. -

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.

i cant use the "google search" button with firefox 3.6.6 or even 3.5. I have no problem with searching google on internet explorer. The" Im feeling lucky" button works. The google search tab on the top right corner of firefox browser works fine. But the main google search button on the google site doesnt work. I havent changed anything. i cant do anymore google searches.

i have a macbook pro. i think i might have pushed some buttons that made my macbook look for a wireless keyboard.. i dont have any wireless keyboard. and now i cant use the keyboard on my macbook. how can i get the normal keyboard staring?

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

first of all, remove your battery and leave it out for five minutes then replace it. see if this solves the problem. if it does not, backp all your data to memory card or the mass storage (16gb) in the phone, or as a backup file .nbu in Nokia PC Suite. then perform a hard reset (*#7370 and *#7780#) to clear the phone to default factory settings. if this still does not work, then try the three-finger hard reset. if this still does not work, you will have to take your phone to your local Nokia Care Centre for them to look at.
remember to do appropriate backup of all your files first. let us know how it goes.

I cant use the X key on my imac wired keyboard, the key viewer shows the two commands keys pressed when i hit x and the caps lock light is always on....not really sure what happened, but i didnt do anything different from my daily stuff
just an update....when i hit the right command key it respond normal (cmd v cmd c...etc) but when i hit the left command key it shows the x and two commands pressed as well as it delete what i'm working on i.e like backspace but takes out everything at once

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts (Users & Groups in later OSX versions)>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

My iphone 4 is in DFU mode. However I still want the photos on the phone so I cant use the itune recover option. Does anyone know of a work around
actually its not in DFU which is suppose to be a black screen. When it powers on there is an image of Itunes logo and the usb cord. What happened is I did an update before I backed up my photos the phone worked great after the update no issues till it powered off. When I turned it on again it had those two icons and was forcing me to sync with Itunes to system default which will wipe out my media.

We bought an iphone 4s for our daughter. We transfered it to straight talk. She can make calls and text no problem. She can use the WiFi but is unable to use the internet or mms. How do we update the APN?
To clarify for anyone who is still having any problems doing this.
1. Unlock your phone with the carrier ( I know the process will work if it is jail broken but I am assuming you dont want to void the warranty on your phone) NOTE: even if you purchased the phone outright at Wal-Mart it is still locked to ATT so you will have to unlock the phone. If it's already unlocked skip to step 2. This works and will work even if you update the phone.

Replacements via Apple tech support are usually refurbished units, not new stock, though none of us here can say with certainty what you will receive. But you will not be able to tell the difference between new stock and a refurbished unit, and refurbished units generally go through more extensive testing than do new units, so getting a refurb may well be better than getting new stock.

I had an apple ID that I could never remember. I did manage to redeem a gift card on it with a balance still remaining. I made a new apple id today, and it says I cant use the remaning gift card money on any of my apps with my new apple id? The balance shoes up on my new apple id but it wont work? I tried to log in under my old apple id, but I cant as my new one as been created?

So here's my problem. I just used the "reset all settings" option, and accidentaly restored an old backup. It deleted all my photos and contacts, but for some reason I still have all the apps from after the backup date,and it also kept the notes from after the backup. The "reset all settings" option clearly says no loss of data or media, so I don't understand why some stuff got deleted. My question is, is there a way to get it back?
If you still can find a recent backup listed in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, use this one to restore from.
If there are no recent backups listed, your data is gone. Only if you included the iTunes backup folder into your computer backup routine, you could be able to restore this folder and find one of your latest backups listed again.

I am having a problem using the help menu in Adobe elements number five.
When I open the help menu, the dialogue box defaults to an unreadable display font. Is there any way to change that default font? Using the help menus to find a solution is not possible for I cannot read what it is displaying.For product, there is an option in preferences where we can set fonts. There are two options: One is application font and other is system font. I am talking about elements 8 which I have but not sure that will solve your problem which is help related.

Bug: Ovi Calendar and pre-1975 events
I was quite puzzled to discover the hard way that OVI Calendar does not support events dated before 1/1/1975. Apparently not all developers learned from the Y2K bug. Why do I need events in the past, you may ask. Well, to store birthdays/years.I hav
