Hello there

I´ve got a problem with connecting my old cinema display to the pc my new work gave me.
I´m using a adaptor from to DVI to VGA into the PC and I just get a black screen and the little lightbulb on the display is on.
Anyone got a solution for this problem ?

If the computer has HDMI you can use a simple adapter for a DVI display (up to 1920 x 1200 resolution).

Thank you Joe - I tried this but it's only showing a teensy amount of music - the stuff on the second users account as opposed to the giagntic library on the 'main' account. I actually went to a Genius Bar and they said that apple doesn't really want you to share music between accounts - parents don't want to hear their kids music etc. Which seemed strange, but it might be the case sadly Thanks anyway!

It should be in the Users/ Shared folder.
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Note the option to check and repair Library Permissions

In terms of a refund, what does it say on the app's description page in the store (a lot say that refunds aren't given) ? under UK legislation, if your are out of contract (and not owing the carrier any debts!) they are LEGALLY obliged to unlock you, and within a certain number of (few) days.. search OFCOM for the regulations.
That said, they are also entittled to charge you for this (usually about £20!)
I believe, that this can also be done via an APPLE STORE, but the first option is always the Origional Network carrier.
Orange has a terrible repuation now for customer service (which is just one reason they changed their name to EE!, and yes, this is fact which is why they came Bottom in several recent customer satisfaction surveys.. so they are not going to rush to help you leave them are they..)

Could you please let me know if you have tried converting other web pages to PDF and checked if the same issue persists.
How have you been trying to convert the web page to PDF?
Are you trying to convert to PDF directly via browsers or using "File > Create > PDF from Web Page" option in Acrobat.
Let me know more so that I can analyze where actually the issue persists.

I am getting a message +OK Hello there when my outgoing mail server (Onetel) fails to connect. I have contacted Onetel and confirmed that all settings are correct but I am still unable to connect - my incoming is OK. This is on a MacBook and I recently had the same problem with my iMac and I used my gmail sever for outgoing - then the problem vanished and then reappeared on my other computer.
I am operating 10.6.7
Any thoughts please?

Do you use Terminal to login when connecting?
Three plusses "+++" is a modem 'escape' signal for old Hayes-compatible AT command set dial-up modems, and 'OK' is the modem response after a valid command it recognizes.

Unless you enabled Find My iPad on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way to locate it. If you did enable it then you could try locating and/or remotely wiping it either via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPad disabled on it.
If you haven't already done so then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc., and if it was a cellular model you should also contact your carrier.

Hmm, that's some sort of MIDI Arpeggiator setup in your environment. Strange that you don't know it, this has to be custom-installed, it is not part of the standard setup.
You can do two things about it:
1.unlock your current screenset (shift-L), then close the (Bass Driver) window, then relock the screenset (shift-L). Next time you open up this project you won't see the Bass Driver, but it is still in the project.
2. You can remove the whole page: open the Environment (cmd-8), then go to the dropdown menu arrow top left of the Environment window and select the Bass Driver layer. If it is selected, dropdown again and choose Delete. Now Save your project under a different name (Save As...), so that you still keep the Bass Driver setup in the original project. If you don't need to keep it, you can simply Save.

The reset link will show on your account if you have a rescue email address on it, if you only have alternate email addresses then it won't show.
If the country where you and your iTunes account are isn't on this page (you need to be in a country to use its store) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
then you can try contacting support via this page and explain that you've forgotten your answers, don't have a rescue email address, and your country isn't on the HT5699 page and see what they reply with : https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
