Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Setings>iTunes and App Store and sign out and sign back in
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Everytime I open my itunes since I was told to update, I get a message saying a problem has occured and itunes must close. However I'm never told what the problem is or given any hlep barr download the update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times but it still doesnt work...
HELP!!!!!Uh just to update, at around 18.77 gb data sent, data has stopped being uploaded from iTunes. Except it's still not done "uploading" the one song. So now I guess it's officially hung. WHAT'S HAPPENING???

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.

If you are speaking of the encryption of Windows 7, then you don't. (unless you are running Windows on your Mac)
If you want to use it on your Mac on the native OS X, remove the encryption with your Windows machine, first.
If it is formatted in NTFS, you will then be able to read the contents natively, but not write to it. You can add an NTFS driver to OS X, or you can reformat to either Mac OS, or ExFAT, losing your existing data on that drive. I used to be a fan of some of the third-party solutions, but have since ditched them, as it takes continual maintenance to retain functionality with OS X updates.
What you have right this very moment is a drive very much married to Windows, with the expense of not much compatibility to the Mac. -

when i try and open itunes a memo pops up saying "itunes could not connect to this iPhone. This device is no longer connected" my iphone is not plugged into my mac so i dont know why its mentioning an iphone nor why i cant open my itunes library?
Each time you connect your iPhone to iTunes, you need to eject it before closing iTunes by clicking on the little "eject" icon shown in iTunes. It seems that sometime in the past, you did not do that.
I'm not sure how to undo the previously done damage, but maybe a reboot of your Mac would help. -
Why the **** is iTunes 11 so ****? I like every bit of how it looks good and new options, the thing i despise, cringe, shout and get angry about is WHY WHEN I OPEN UP iTUNES DOES IT HAVE TO SCAN FOR MUSIC THEN I LOSE ALMOST EVERY **** SONG?!?!?!?!?!? From the now playing screen, bring up the scrubber bar(tap the screen):
A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar. Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated. Tap the icon again to repeat the current song. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle. Touch the icon a third time to cancel any repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated. -

This worked for me:
1 Go to the finder menu bar at the top of the screen
2Click go
3 click applications
4 go down to iTunes and right click on Show Package Contents
5 open contents folder then go to mac os folder
6 open the terminal marked iTunes in that folder
This should force it to open and function enough, it will not allow importing of music from a desk top -

In order to take the credit card off of the account, you will need to open the iTunes program on your computer, pick the option for store from the left, and then pick account from the right under quick links. In the account you should be able to change credit card type to 'none' and/or add a gift card.
If you are doing this from iphone, ipad, or ipod touch, it will be under settings > store
if you continue having problems, you can contact itunes directly by filling out the form below. they will follow up via email to make sure your account issue is resolved

My app store does not load the featured apps. The screen remains empty everytime I open it.
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Close the App Store and reboot the iPad. Assuming you are running iOS 7 ....
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the App Store app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I don't have any good suggestions but try this.
1. Reinstall iTunes. There are several articles on how to do this in google.
2. Restore from a time machine back up to when iTunes was working.
3. Rebuild your library if you can.
That's all I have. I hope someone else can help out as I know it can be frustrating.
