If you are sure that it is charged and you still can't get it to power on. You may need to reload the OS. If you need help doing this let me know.

Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red to delete apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

My wife has an ipad2 which is synched with my imac. When she opens an email, it also opens on my imac, and when she deletes an email it deletes it from my imac. This is very frustrating. Can anyone help?

This is very frutrating and annoying.

It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.

I uninstalled those two items. It still runs slow on start-up and when opening safari, firefox, iphoto, itunes, etc. It's not snappy like it used to be. Any other ideas? Thanks.

I have many internal frames in my desktoppane and i want to set the border to color.blue of one of them at a time. I want to test if it is blue, if yes, then set the internal frame back to its original border, if it is not blue, then set to blue.. but there seems to be some error to do with metal borders..?? i am extremely confused.. can anyone help me.. sorry, but i am new to java

Hold down the Power button for 5-10 seconds until the computer shuts down. Restart. Report what state the computer is in at that time.

My itouch will not allow me to connect to my wifi. It doesn't even let me get onto my wifi settings. The button is unhighlighted as well so it won't even let me fix it or choose a wifi network!!!!!!

Our other new itouch's work fine (im using one right now lol lol) so it isnt my wifi/router.... My itouch is old lol, I've had it for 4 or 5 years and it's cracked up etc...lol lol. But it still works great, however, it was out of commission for the past 5 months cuz my computer was not working to sync it and it wanted me to "connect to itunes" and i couldnt at the time...(plug it in to sync).... And now my computer and iTunes are working and the itunes software is updated as well. So i have synced my itouch and said itouch is working and restored however it will not allow me to access my wifi settings. The button is unaccessable and unhighlighted as i have stated above already and am in the process of syncing and restoring said itouch again!!! Which should take another full day or two lol lol omg!!!
