Hellp with new itunes download
i just bought the new ipod nano today..and obv you have to download the new version of itunes, but whenever i click on the download now button it just brings me to a blank page..same thing with the quicktime. i downloaded the newest version of internet explorer thinkin that it might correct the problem..but it didnt..please help!
Try disabling your antivirus/security programs.
If that doesn't work, try downloading it with a different browser like Netscape or firefox.

I recently had to wipe my hard drive because my computer got a virus I wasn't able to clear out any other way. I re-downloaded itunes and tried to sync my Ipod to it. (I wasn't able to back up any files.. not even pictures.. before the system restore) Anyway I was wondering if there is any way to copy the music on my Ipod to my itunes library? I tried to sync it, but it said it would erase the music on my Ipod currently. ***** for me because that is the only place i have my music stored except a few cds in my car. HELP!!! Am I SOL?
newest version of Itunes available, Windows Vista x64, Ipod Nano 5th genIf you connect your ipod to your computer then look in the hidden folder labeled "iPod_Control" . (This is on a Mac version, but i think it's the same for Windows) and in "Music" is all your music mixed up in different folders. Just drag the MUSIC folder onto itunes then BAM! It's done ;D

I downloaded latest software on iphone 4 and installed new software on my imac (snow leopard 8.6)and now phone not synching with new itunes. Itunes does recognize the phone but the itunes is totally different now. It doesn't look anything like the previous vesions. I can't even find a tab for synching. very strange. any help is appriciated.

the download gets too a stage where it fails too update fully because of a sourse problem with my current iTunes download

iTunes will let you sync some stuff from multiple computers, but it'll only let you sync music, videos or apps from one iTunes library. -
I had trouble with a iTunes download. Two songs of an album were not complete. I contacted iTunes and they redownloaded the tunes. My iTunes now has the complete copies. The trouble is my iPhone will not accept/sync the complete copies. It will only play the original incomplete copies of these songs. I've made new playlists and made sure I had the correct items checked to backup/sync. Still only the incomplete copies are played via the iPhone. What's up? What can I do to get to the iPhone to sync the correct version?
- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

Delete Artwork
On the artwork tab of Get Into, tap the image in question, use Backspace or Ctrl+X. Delete doesn't work.
Or, tap the image at the top left of Get Info, this time use Backspace or Delete, it is Ctrl+X that doesn't work.
Add Artwork
Select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the center of the Artwork tab, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, select artwork, press Ctrl+C to copy, tap the small image area at the top left, press Ctrl+V to paste.
Or, you can drag & drop to, or sometimes from, the same locations.
You can also copy artwork from the Get Info dialog to Windows Explorer with the keyboard shortcuts.
If the source image is on a web page right-click and use Copy Image rather than copy. (With Chrome I get a one pixel wraparound so tend to go for a temporary local copy anyway - not sure whose bug this is, but it isn't new.)
If you have multiple images embedded drag the one you want to be the primary artwork to the leftmost position.
Replace/Remove All Artwork
The top left image box can be used to add or delete art from multiple tracks. In either case all existing artwork in all tracks is replaced/removed.
Old Style Get Info Dialog
Select some items, right-click, hold down shift, then click Get Info from the context menu. (Use alt/option on a Mac)

My old laptop with my iTunes library crashed. I downloaded iTunes to a new laptop. I can not get my older iPod Nano to sync with the new iTunes download and import my older music. Is there anyway to import the old music from my iPod to the new iTunes download?
You can transfer itunes purchases: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your iPhone. Only if you back up your phone manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Do this:
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your phone to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your iPhone without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your phone for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the iPhone for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

You can also back up iTunes and restore it on your new computer How to back up your media in iTunes ,but the iPhone will be erased anyway during the first sync. -

The same way you would sync with any other version of iTunes.
Connect the device.
Select the device.
Select Sync.
In the new version of iTunes, the sidebar is disabled by default. With a device connected, it will be listed in the upper right hand corner.
If you want the side bar back, type Cntrl + S. -

PLUG your iPhone to PC and go here on your PC...Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers. under unspecified you will see apple iPhone......right click on it and remove device. unplug your iPhone and replug it to your pc and iTunes should open and will see your phone. -
