HELP - 11.1.2 Planning app not rolling up on blank values  (#missing)

Stumped looking for avenues. On 11.1.2 with critical patches applied on Windows 2008 SP1 environment
We have a simple planning app with not much data. We have a dimension called 'Funding Source' example shown below:
Funding Source (Level 2)
DME (Level 1)
DME Resources (Level 0)
When I enter in numeric values into DME Resources (i.e. 15.53) then DME and Funding Source are properly updated. When I blank out the DME resource cell, the Level 1 and Level 2 STILL show 15.53
We have tried various BRs/Calc Scripts, but to no avail
Funding Source/DME is at Never Share, DME Resources is at Store, Unspecifiied is the type for all, Addition is the selection for all. These do not have any security on them
Looking for avenues to troubleshoot this
It simply doesn't like to clear out the upper levels when the level 0 cell is blank

  • HFM and Planning apps not showing up in workspace..

    Hi All
    We recently had the SSL certificate expired and after we renewed them, and restarted all the services, the HFM and Planning apps are not showing up in workspace Navigate->Applications. When I click on Classic Administration -> Consolidation Administration or Planning Administration , I get the following error.
    "Please make sure that the Application you are trying to launch is registered with SharedServices.Shared Services must be running for the feature you are trying to access.Close the current browser window and try logging into workspace again after a little while.Contact your administrator for further information."
    I also cannot open the HFM app in "Projects" in HSS, but can open Planning apps. ( not sure if that helps)
    I m able to open the Planning and HFM apps using the Direct links, (not through workspace) and able to login and perform any task with in the application.
    The issue looks more like workspace is not able to communicate with Foundation or shared services.
    Can you tell me what would be the reason for apps not showing up in the Workspace and a possible resolution?

  • S_ALR_87013532 report -plan cost not rolling upto the WBS/Project level

    Dear All,
    Plan cost from production orders is not rolling up to the WBS/Project level in S_ALR_87013532 ( Plan/Actual Variance report).
    Where as plan cost from network is properly rolling up to the WBS/Project level in the above report. 
    Please suggest what could be the reason for this issue. Is any configuration needs to be done for this.

    Thanks for the reply & sorry for late response from my side.
    OPSV settings are already maintained in our system.
    Some how i realized  later that cost are actaully getting rolled to the WBS level, but we have observed one more discrepancy.
    Example -
    Production order "X" value - 100 (  as seen through co03)
    Production order "X"value- 40 ( as seen through report s_alr_87013532).
    We found that  in report  s_alr_87013532 , although my total  producton order value of 100 is represented at the WBS /Project level, but at the production order level , it is showing value of 40. 
    On further analysis we found that for production order X
    Materail cost- 60
    Labour cost-40
    The material cost of 60  is not getting fetched against production order "X" in report " S_ALR_87013532".
    There are very few cases , where such discrepancy is seen.
    Kindly suggest.

  • Planning App not appearing in Workspace

    I just installed many of the 11.1.1.3 products (Workspace, HSS, Essbase, Planning, and the reporting tools) and overall everything seems to be working except that I can't see a new Planning app in Workspace. I created the app by using the AppWizard.jsp because Classic Application did not appear in Workspace even though I have full admin rights to all the products. I thought maybe if I created it through the AppWizard it would appear but I still don't see it. I can log in using the direct Planning link and all looks well from that end. Any ideas as to why it won't show up in Workspace? Thanks.

    MarkHi you should just have to run the "EPM System Configurator" > Untick all Options > Foundation > Workspace > Select Configure web server > reconfigure.

  • EPM 11 - Planning App not showing up in Dropdown

    I have an EPM 11.1 demo on my laptop.
    I created a datasource, then using Classic App Wizard, I was able to successfully create an application, and register it to a group in Shared Services.
    If I got into SS, I can see the app. If i go into EAS, I can see the App. If I got into the Create App wizard, I can see the app.
    However, the app does not show up in the Drop Down list for selectable applications in Planning. Also, the app does not appear in Workspace.
    Any ideas on where I might have gone wrong?

    Hi,
    My guess is that you have registered it to an instance which is not the default instance or another instance so it wont show.
    If you go into the EPM System Configurator, select planning, then Manage Planning Clusters.
    Activate Cluster > Select the Cluster Name from the drop down which relates to the instance name you created the application against (I take it you have more than just the default one)

  • Help! Can I tranfer app. not using a firewire?

    Hi, I just was in an Apple store today and I bought the MacBook Pro, but now I am trying to set up, and it says to transfer files I need a Firewire cord? Also there doesn't seem to be an option to just transfer some applications/files...is this right? Is this the only way to transfer files/ applications, or can I put the ones I want to transfer on an external hardrive and then transfer them over?

    Yes. The automated functions provided by the Migration Assistant requires a FireWire connection, but items can be manually transferred.

  • Apps not working in IOS5 and music missing

    I have installed IOS5 on my iPhone 4 and now when I click on most of the apps the screen flashes and the apps dont open.  even iBooks doesnt open. yet these same apps open on my ipad2.
    Also, all of my music and videos that were on the phone are no longer there.  i have turned on iCloud on the phone and on my macbook pro where everything was previously backed up.  what am i missing?

    never mind.  i left the ipad plugged in all night but had removed the phone so now that I plugged it back into my macbook pro, did a synce, it is all good.....

  • Unable to delete EPMA Planning app & re-use datasource for new app

    We have EPMA Planning application (v11.1.1.3)
    I am trying to delete a deployed planning application and try to use the same datasource for creating new application.
    I have deleted the application from EPMA application library and deleted it from Planning directory in Shared Services. But, still that datasource is not showing up as available datasource for new application.
    Any ideas to how I can re-use the datasource. Please advise.

    You may need to update the planning system tables.
    Go into the planning system relational tables
    Table HSPSYS_APPLICATION, delete row relating to planning app, note the app_id.
    Table HSPSYS_PROPERTIES, delete records with id that you have just stored.
    Table HSPSYS_DATASOURCES, update app_id to -1 for the datasource you use for the planning app.
    Restart Planning.
    Try again.
    Ok?

    they are seeing the application in planning. they created a scenario dimension containing , budget, actual and forecast.. but in the planing application they can only see budget. the rest 2 are not visible.

    Ok, you should generally only get this when you are converting your ID to an iTS account for the first time.
    Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID and you should get this.... IRC once you agree or accept it's now an iTS account and you wont get that again.

    iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
    Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
    If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device.

    Try this fix discovered by User photosb189:
    From Finder, hold down the option key on your keyboard and click on the Go menu at the top of the screen
    Select Library from the drop down menu
    Then navigate to Application Support > iLifeAssetManagement > assets
    Right click on the 'sub' folder and choose Compress
    Drag the resulting zip file to your Desktop (as a backup)
    Go to your System Preferences and choose iCloud
    Turn OFF the iCloud Photos option
    Go back to Library > Application Support and DELETE the iLifeAssetManagement folder
    Now, in System Preferences, turn the iCloud Photos option ON
    iPhoto should now be able to launch. Give it enough time to re-download your Photo Stream content. if you are missing any of your My Photo Stream photos (more than 30 days old), unzip the sub folder on your desktop and drag that into iPhoto.
