HELP 8330 hit or miss email push from gmail to curve

I could really use help here with this issue. I have noticed that my curve sometimes gets my emails from my two seperate gmail accounts, and sometimes my curve doesn't. All emails are definitely received in my gmail accounts, but when i'm away from my desk, i'm missing very important emails that are not showing up on my curve, yet shows up in my gmail account; but when I pull up my gmail account. It is a BIS account not BES.

Keep trying to use the PIN and IMEI to register the device.

I tried importing email addresses from gmail and now my address book is locked up and will not work. Do I need to delete my address book software and reinstall? If so, what is the proper way to do this? New to Macbook software. I have tried several things and nothing has helped. I have backed up photos, movies, etc. My addresses are on my iphone so I can sync them later right if I loose my data?

You can probably resolve this by removing some Address Book preference files rather than deleting your Address Book application.
First turn off Synchronize in Address Book Preferences if you can.
Next restart Address Book and try to export everything to your Desktop.
I have had a play and found my Address Book preference files. In the following ~/Library is the Library within your Home folder. Any numerals may differ on your Mac. Quit Address Book before doing anything with these.
1 - Display details and things set in Address Book Preferences
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist
2 - Has no data - not sure what this does
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.abd.plist
3 - Has last sync date - may have more if I used sync
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.AddressBook.sync.000393735c06.plist
4 - My contact details
/Library/Preferences/AddressBookMe.plist
5 - Individual addresses and groups stored as separate files within:
~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/Metadata
6 - All of these addresses are are also in this single database:
~/Library/Application Support/AddressBook/AddressBook-v22.abcddb
If you wish to remove all addresses drag both 5 & 6 to your Desktop.
If you wish to reset preferences drag 1 your Desktop.
Removing 3 may resolve sync issues but I am unable to test this.
If you wish to reset everything drag all except 4 to your desktop.

Missing emails, esp from Facebook

All of my emails from Facebook and Twitter do not show up either in my inbox or junk folders. Most of my Linked In email goes to the junk folder, even though there is a rule to move it to the inbox. Any email resetting a password disappears, again not in the inbox or in the junk folders. Where is Apple hiding these types of emails?
They are sent to me.com via auto-forwards from my real email accts. All other mail makes its way through to my inbox or junk folder. I do know that the email exists, since it shows up in my MS Outlook, when I download my email directly from my regular email clients.
Any ideas on what is happening here?

That's interesting... I was about to post the opposite problem.... I can't figure out why my Social Networking app is showing EVERYTHING from Facebook in the news, even posts about apps/people that I have hidden on the Facebook app.

A personal email (my own domain), my work email, and a gmail account that I use for my Google calendar
Regardless of which account i send emails from or reply to an email from - it sends it from my Gmail account. Does anyone know how to resolve thisv
Its frustrating, because I've worked hard consolidating emails and making sure everyone has the correct email address.

If you haven't compacted your inbox you can recover deleted emails with addon

Gmail also have a "ALL FILES" folder. Maybe you can recover them there.

Receiving numerous copies of emails sent from gmail account

I have my Blackberry 8830 set up to receive emails from my personal gmail account. When an email is sent on my MacBook from our gmail account to another person, I will receive numerous copies of that email -- partial messages as it is being typed, sometimes if it is a lengthy email I will get 30-40 partial copies of the message as it is being typed. This only happens when messages are sent on our MacBook. Any suggestions?

It sounds as if when gmail is performing the periodic auto-save that it is treating like a sent email from your Mac to the gmail server. As each time the gmail server gets the "partial" it is being treated as "new". Bizarre. First time I have heard of this type of problem. Check to see if you can either turn off or change gmails auto-save intrrval and see what that does. Macs....what can you say? LOL

HELP-8330 & Ford "Sync"-Volume Defaults 2/3 Down On Curve When Connecting???

Been having trouble with people hearing me on Fords "Sync" from Microsoft. I had the 8830 and now the 8330. WHen it connects to the Sync the volume control on the Blackberry defaults or goes down 2/3 on the indicator on the upper right corner. I can not move it up with the side controls.
Anyone out there haven the same combo and noticed this? I have had 2 different phones and Ford replaced the microphone and Module for sync and it still does this.
Help very much appreciated, I have to go to handset to have people hear me. Thanks.

Worse problem with a Ford Edge 2010 Sync system using a BB 8230 Pearl Flip - my called party cannot hear me at all; but i hear the called party clearly. I have isolated the BB problem by successfully syncing a different, non-BB mobilephone w/o volume problems. Ford says it must be a BB problem (and not a Sync or Ford microphone/speaker issue); but there is absolutely no information from BB regarding the problem, nor any resolution. Has anyone encountered this problem with the Pearl Flip 8230?

Email replies from Gmail not showing up?

Hi everyone...
I've been corresponding with a person who uses Gmail. This person has sent me several email replies unbeknownst to me! When she finally composed a separate email, I got it. In it, she asked if I had received the other emails? I responded, "what emails?". She stated that she replied to 3 of my earlier emails but I never got them.
I also have 4 Gmail accounts, so I decided to send an email to one of my Gmail accounts so that I could "reply" to it. Well lo-and-behold, I heard the email alert sound on my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro but neither one displayed the email. This was yesterday afternoon. To this day, I haven't seen the emails that my friend sent me, nor have I seen my own reply to myself from my Gmail account. Weird... very weird. This is new, since upgrading to Yosemite too. Other than that... I haven't noticed any other issues. But this is a big one... since I conduct my home-based business from my Apple email server...

Case of the missing email

A bit more info on the crash of my mail program this morning.
Re-entered the info when prompted by dialogue box to set the mail program up again (not sure if info was exactly the same as was there before crash)
I now got this message when looking at some past emails in my smart folders.
"The message from [email protected] concerning “Re: Next meeting” has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."
And all sent messages have vanished.
Currently I can receive emails but not send.

I copied my .mbox which was in the Inbox of my accounts with missing
messages, onto the desktop, then put it in a folder and imported
it as "Other" into my Mail program. Then I was able to see the messages
in Mail from the "Import" Folder.
In my thread "Upgrade Lost Messages," this thread was helpful.
