    Hello Guru's,
    we are creating sales order in SAP from a quote created in .NET,  through Web Service created in SAP, and consumed in .NET.
    When ever a order is created in SAP for a given quote, SAP returns the sales order number to .NET.
    Orders are getting created as expected, but once in a while we are getting the following error from webservice :
    Web service processing error; more details in the web service error log on provider side (UTC timestamp 20140609173429; Transaction ID 4DFCEFE33301F1EBB5CE00155D0B4530)
    But the problem is order is getting created in SAP for the perticular quote for which we are getting the above error and this order number is not getting returned to .NET.
    Upon analysis in TCODE  SRT_UTIL for the above transaction ID, has the following details , which are hardly help full to resolve the error.
    ----TYPE                                  CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    ----ERROR_TEXT                   The database returned a value containing an error
    ----CX_SY_NO_HANDLER
    -----CLASSNAME                     CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    This Exception raised by Web Service application
    Could you please help in resolving this issue or alteast provide an approach for the same.
    Thank you,
    Suresh.

    Thank you Bhaskar,
    How can we clarify whether the error is from SAP or Web part.

    Hello,
    When you say you have configured the proxy, are you talking about the proxy tab on the HTTP Connection Manager? Please
    confirm you have configured it properly.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189707.aspx
    What is the name of the web service?
    Can you try to do the same on a script task as mentioned in the following post?
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/farukcelik/archive/2009/07/17/ssis-consuming-a-web-service-without-using-web-service-task-and-http-connection-manager-within-script-task.aspx?Redirected=true
    Hope this helps.

    I have a question. You seem to be getting somewhere. In the reference (in your post) there is no mention of web.xml Is it a generated file or a file created by you? I am getting IOException error when generating EAR file. What could be wrong? Please help

  • Help needed on : Web-Services Error!

    Hello,
    I included all the web service modules to assemble my applications ear.
    I verified the web.xml entries in my application web-inf folder.
    I started the application on JBOSS server.
    Even though i followed all steps i cannot see the webservices in the webservice registry link.
    I am trying to access a webservice called : getOrderStatus through SOAP UI application.
    Endpoint url used is :
    http://localhost:8080/commerce/order/getOrderStatus/getOrderStatus
    request sent is :
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:web="http://www.atg.com/webservices">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <web:getOrderStatus soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
             <orderId xsi:type="xsd:string">12345</orderId>
          </web:getOrderStatus>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>I get this response:
              JBoss Web/2.1.3.GA - Error report
              HTTP Status 404 - /commerce/order/getOrderStatus/getOrderStatus
              <HR size="1" noshade="noshade">
                   <p><b>type</b> Status report</p>
                   <p><b>message</b>
                        <u>/commerce/order/getOrderStatus/getOrderStatus</u></p>
                   <p><b>description</b> <u>The requested resource
                        (/commerce/order/getOrderStatus/getOrderStatus) is not
                        available.*</u></p>
                        JBoss Web/2.1.3.GA                    Please let mek now where i am going wrong?
    Also i am not able to view ant webservice in the webservice registry.

    Already had checked that the .war of the webservice is there in the final deployed .ear of my application.
    I consider it as ATG installation issue this issue is not arising on a fresh installation on another machine.
    But now i have problems accessing the webservice through SOAP UI. There is some syntax mismatch of the SOAP request generated and ATG expected for the webservice to be called.
    Thanks for your help.

    My environment:
    - JBuilder X
    - Weblogic Platform 8.1
    - Windows XP SP2
    Here are my steps of implementing web services:
    1. Write the Java code for the back-end components that make up the Web Service. Here's the method that handle the operation
    public String testName(InputParam test) {
    String inputName = test.getName();
    System.out.println("Input name:"+inputName);
    return "Hello "+inputName;
    Here's InputParam:
    public class InputParam {
    private String name;
    public InputParam() {
    public String getName() {
    return name;
    public void setName(String name) {
    this.name = name;
    2. Since I use JBuilder X I configure everything including handlers chain through web services designers
    3. Build project
    If nothing goes wrong, I will get generated client jars and a war file with web-services.xml inside.
    I have no problem when I implement RPC-style web services.
    I got the above error when I implement Document-oriented web services, but
    I have no problem when I use String as a parameter instead of InputParam class.
    I tried to change some attributes that might be relevant but got no luck.
    I've tried using clientgen command line as well but the result was the same.
    Below are the guidelines for creating document-oriented web services from the BEA's document that I think I already followed
    - The methods that implement each operation of the Web Service can have only one parameter. This single parameter can be of any supported data type. (The Weblogic web services toolkit support simple JavaBean, doesn't it?)
    - The methods that implement each operation cannot use out and in-out parameters. (I'm not sure about this one since I got Holder classes after using clientgen. However, there's no <param> tag in web-services.xml.)
    I found the old solution from support.bea.com (ID = S-25689), but I don't think my situation is the same. I got the error while building web services...not deploying a web service.
    Any answers to this question will be very much appreciated.

    Reply, Should have mentioned this before, I can't even turn agp on.  I go into SMARTGART it shows AGP off, Fastwrites off.  If I move the AGP settings to 4x, 8x, it says I need to restart to apply. After the restart it just resets it back to off.

    Ok, this sounds like a known bug ( Bug 5908689 ) in 10.1.3.1, but this was specific to non-Windows platforms. Are you on Linux/Solaris or any other platform? It might or might not be the same problem you are hitting but it does seem quite close (can't say for sure without a close investigation, I am afraid!)
    In any case, this bug is fixed in the 10.1.3.4 patchset (besides quite a few other fixes and enhancements) - so would recommend you to first apply the 10.1.3.4 patchset and retest. The patchset is available on My Oracle Support (formerly Metalink) under Patch 7272722. Or you could go a step ahead, and apply the 10.1.3.5 patchset (Patch 8626084) instead which is the latest patchset for OracleAS 10.1.3.x.

  • Web Service - Errors

    Please help - my Flex trial is about to run out and if I
    can't get this to work, our company will not buy Flex :-(
    In summary, I am getting the following error when attempting
    to call a web service:
    [WSDLError faultString="Element
    http://tempUri2.org/:TestMethodResponse
    not resolvable" faultCode="WSDL.BadElement" faultDetail="null"] ...
    I then get some WSDLParser errors.
    The web service has been implemented as a SQL Server 2005
    Endpoint.
    In SQL Server 2005 the HTTP/SOAP endpoints feature lets you
    consume Web services mapped to objects in SQL Server. Unlike
    earlier versions, IIS is no longer required. The Windows Server
    2003 kernel listener, HTTP.sys, lets SQL Server listen for HTTP
    requests and process them directly.
    There seems to be some connection between Flex and the WS
    being made as the "TestMethodResponse" is defined in the wsdl. I
    understand that I probably need to have an crossdomain.xml
    somewhere but don't know where to put it as there is no web server
    involved.
    Has anyone worked with Flex and SQL Server 2005 endpoints? Is
    it possible to achieve what i'm trying to do?
    Any help will be immensely appreciated ... time is running
    out and if this doesn't work, it's back to boring old reporting
    services for me.
    Hec

    Cheers for the reply,
    I am using Flex 2 with charting - no data services. I can
    load the wsdl from a browser.
    Using XML Spy I can create a SOAP request and receive a
    reply. I'm guessing that Flex just doesn't like the format of the
    wsdl and maybe won't be able to access the Web Service directly?
    Details below.

  • Custom Timer Job to execute WCF web service error - Could not find default endpoint element that references contract

    Hi,
    I am currently creating custom timer job to call WCF web service to perform nighty job to update employee document library metadata. If I update regular list/library items it updates correctly on a specified interval basis. However when I try to integrate
    the WCF client, it throws error shown below :
    Could not find default endpoint element that references contract EmployeeServiceReference.
    EmployeeServiceClient in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this contract could be found in the client element.
    I followed exact instructions Andrew Connell has provided but included my logic in execute()
    public
    override
    void Execute(Guid
    targetInstanceId)
    var empClient =
    new
    'ServiceReference.EmployeeServiceClient();
    var employee = empClient.EmployeesMethod();
    I have tried all approaches to manually adding app.config settings in sharepoing web.config but still it throws the error mentioned. It seems that application config and sharepoint site config binding issue still exist and cannot be resolved.

    You can use any of the three approaches:-
    1) Access web application's web.config programmatically in Execute() method.
    http://praveenkasireddy.wordpress.com/2012/12/14/access-web-application-configuration-values-in-timer-job-sharepoint/
    2) Store the configuration in xml and upload it to SharePoint document library then read from there
    http://www.sharepointdynamics.net/2011/08/using-an-xml-settings-file-to-store-values-for-your-sharepoint-projects/
    3) Programmatically configure a WCF endpoint.

  • Calling Web Service Error?

    Hello all,
    I've created an LDAP Query Process in LC Workbench and when calling it as a Web Service from my form I'm getting an "Error attempting to read from file" error.
    I did do a search, and disabled the security for this process. Which didn't help at all. Is there perhaps an option I need to change in the 'short-lived' process area, under 'transaction settings'?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

    By default security is set on for Web Services in LiveCycle. Depending on which client you are using will determine whether you can leave security on/off. Acrobat/Reader 9 added support for secure web services. Meaning when the web service is called a dialog wil appear to allow you to enter valid credentials. If you are using an earlier client they do not support secure web services so it will just sit there.
    You can disable security through the adminui. Look under Services/Applications and Services/Service Management and search for your particular service. Once it is located, click on the Security tab. There are two things you need to be concerned with. First is to disable security. Second, in the runAs area, check the box that says Specify RunAs then choose System in the dropdown. Don't forget to save. The RunAs parameter tells the system that when your service makes calls to other services to use the credentials specified; otherwise, you will have to turn security on all other services that your's is calling.
