I was using kodak program I need to switch to photo shop, I own photoshop 9 and do not know what I am doing. I don't want to lose the pictures I put in the premiere elements nine. by mistake Help?????

You photos are not stored in either Photodhop Elements or Premiere Elements. They are in a folder in your computer. Just do a search for .jpeg (or whatever your file format is).
You do have a backup, right?

If you open the Organizer and go to Edit>Preferences>Camera or Card Reader, do you have Auto Launch Adobe Photo Downloader on Device Connect checked?
Try checking that if you don't.

The video in FCPX looks fine, But when I load it the photos will play over top of each other or double play.

Export your project as Quick Time Current Settings by choosing Export Media in the Share menu. See if the movie plays correctly in QT Player. If it does, upload that to Web.

HT1766 Once backed up how do I put the photos into my photo file on my computer?

After my iCloud became full I backed up my photos and I have been searching online for a while for an answer to this question. Here's what I did
On my Windows 7 computer that has iTunes and that I configured to use with the iCloud I went to my pictures and my photo stream and you can use shift click or control click to select multiple, or drag around them, or use keystroke..control a ... To select all, Then push the delete key on the keyboard and it will automatically sync that with the iCloud. Make sure you back up everything first somewhere else, because it will delete from all devices.

Help getting desired audio region into the sample editor

Chapter 21 of the manual is of no help. Assume I have to audio regions on the same track--singer sang first part of song..... big pause... then sings second half of song ( same track but two distinct ausio regions) All I want to do is be able to quickly have a desire region show up in the sample editor to do edits. The actual instructions about editing are pretty clear. But getting the correct region to show up in the sample editor is the hard part. Even if I click the audio track and click the audio region desired, some other region or some region on another track will be there. And I can't change. This shouldn't be that hard. +I do not to have this problem with piano roll and software intrument regions. You simply click a software track region and click piano roll and the detail of the region shows up+...... Is there a simple protocol for getting a desired audio region to show up in sample editor. Notice that there is no clear explanation for this basic, antecedent task in Chapter 21.

You can't really 'quantize' audio. If it is a single track like stacatto mute guitar, or snare drum hits - you could. Use the 'strip silence command' and then in the list editor highlight all the individual pieces of audio and quantize that.
But if the audio is continous or there are too many notes very close together you will not be able to do that.
If you mean that the track was a 'real guitar' (by musiclab) - yes you can quantize the midi notes.

How to put one photo into multiple events

I want a single photo to appear in more than one event. For example, I would like to be able to create one large event, (lets say for an entire trip), but also create individual events for each day of the trip. I cannot figure out how to get a photo to show up in more than one event.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
Duplicate the picture is the only way to do this with Events. Events are a very crude way of organising. They reflect exactly the folders in the iPhoto Library on the HD.
Albums, on the other hand, are much, much more flexible. A pic can be in many, many albums and use no extra disk space whatever. So can create an Album for the trip, plus one per day. Just drag the photos to the to albums.
But even easier: Create a Folder - (File -> New Folder) and name for the Trip. Then a Smart Album based on date. So File -> New Smart Album: Date -> is -> Whatever. Then drag the Smart Album to the Folder. Repeat for as many days as you need. Click on the Folder, see them all. Click on an Album within the Folder for a specific day.

Accidentally put gift card into passbooks

i had bought an online gift card from apple and when they emailed to me the passbook options popped up and i clicked it and now the gift card is in my passbooks but i wanted to use it for in app purchases! help!

From your post it appears that you purchased an Apple Store gift card, not an iTunes gift card. You need to buy an iTunes gift card to use it in the iTunes store for your in-app purchases.
Note that Apple Store Gift Cards can be redeemed on the Apple Online Store and at Apple Retail stores, but not on the iTunes Music Store. You must use an iTunes Gift Card to purchase items in the iTunes Music Store.

Can someone please tell me how to put photos I've taken with my iPhone, and put those photos into my PC? I've looked everywhere and I find info only on how to do the opposite of what I want to do.

Suddenly can't import any photos into iPhoto!

Suddenly and inexplicably, I cant import any photos into my iPhoto program. iPhoto has worked fine for years. Now, all of a sudden, no matter how I try to import them (either from my desktop, or from my digital camera), I get the error message: Couldn't create: /Volumes/name of external drive/iPhoto Library/2006/08/21/name of photo. When I click "OK" on the error message dialogue box, I then get the error message "Unreadable files: 1 The following files could not be imported (they may be an unrecognized file type or the files may not contain valid data)." I am reasonably certain that of the 250 or so J-Peg photos I'm presently trying to import, from 2 different cameras, ALL of them can't be corrupt.
First, I tried repairing my disk permissions on my G4. Then, I tried reinstalling iLife 5.0.2. Then I tried reinstalling the OSX 10.3.9 combo pack, and iPhoto 5.0.4. Then I tried again repairing my disk permissions with disk utility. All proved useless to solve the problem.
I also tried dragging my iPhoto preferences to the trash. But I found to my horror that this action completely obliterates all of my iPhoto albums and photo groupings. I did not attempt to import any new photos once I discovered this, as I was fearful doing so might render my loss of my albums permanent. So I retrieved my old preferences from the trash, thus saving my albums and groupings, but also keeping the original importing problem.
What can I do to fix this importing problem without obliterating my albums and groupings? Lots of work has gone into the grouping and categorizing of my albums and photos. Though it would be easy to reimport all of my photos, I would not want to begin to take the time to recreate all of my albums and groupings from scratch. Is there any way these groupings can be preserved? If not, there should be! It's idiotic to think that Apple might not consider all of the time the grouping of albums and songlists represents to the typical user of iPhoto or iTunes.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've found a solution to this problem, thankfully. But it didn't come via rebuilding the iPhoto library.
I didn't want to to a manual rebuild of my original iPhoto library, since I was cautioned that it would involve losing my albums and all notations and filings I'd made concerning my photos. Before I first tinkered with the library, I made a backup copy of the original-defective library onto another external drive. Then I did one more complete "automatic rebuild" of the original/defective library, and found to my horror that the library wouldn't even open any more. It would send up an error message when I'd try to click on it's icon to open the library.
I went back to the backup copy of my iPhoto library (containing all of my albums, groupings, and etc.) and did what I hadn't thought to do in the first place: I simply attempted to import photos (my original difficulty) into this backup iPhoto library. It worked perfectly!!! All photos imported into this backed up copy as if it were the original. And now that I have trashed my "original" and totally defective former iPhoto library, this backup copy is now my new iPhoto library.
I guess whatever was wrong with the old library was shaken out just by making a backup copy. I'm afraid that's about as technical an explanation as I can offer. But maybe doing the same process will help another of you suffering from a similar problem with importing photos. Anyway, a hearty thanks to everyone who responded to this original query of mine. Mac users are truly the best!!! Cheers!

Once I put my photos in Aperture, can I wirelessly get them to my iPhone?

Not super familiar with iCloud so Im wondering if I have to sync my phone everytime I want to get my new photos to my phone.

If you already put your photos into Aperture on your Mac, but turned on Photo Stream on your Mac + iPhone (with the same iCloud account) and would like to bring some of your photos back to your phone, then just mark and drag the photos you want on your phone in the Photo Stream folder in Aperture and they will appear on your iPhone in the Photo app (Photo Stream Folder) again

I'm still guessing the relation between "a logical structure to put photos" and the location of the photos...No idea.
I watched the video and for 5 minutes I was riddling what he does there until - at the end - it finally became clear: it just fixes links of renamed photos.
Well, why rename photos which are already placed? See no purpose. You can always organize photos in folder (logical structure?), even in Bridge, that's what Bridge is for. No need for a plugin.

I have iPhoto 11, and whenever I upload photos, it does not automatically split the photos into events.

This causes my photos to not show up in my events. I have to click "Show Event" myself. How do I set it to automatically put the photos into events? Also, once I DO get the pictures into events, then appear at the top, so I have to drag it all the way to the bottom of the events. How do I also set it to put the newest events at the bottom? Sorry if this is confusing....

All photo imported into iPhoto automatically go into a new event. If the photos are coming from a folder on your hard drive or other drive the Event name will be then same as the folder name. Otherwise the event will be titled Untitled Event.
The location of the new event within the other events will be determined by the EXIF dates of the photos being imported and how you have event sorting setup in iPhoto (View ➙ Sort Photos menu option).

Alternatively, right click the album and select 'Export to Hard disk/CD or DVD or Share to Photoshopshowcase'. Media belonging to the album will now be shown in selected template. You can change the template just by double clicking the template shown in filmstrip on top of the template preview.
