Help activating older photoshop

I need help. My computer says my configuration changed and I need to activate my photoshop again. I have all my original packaging but its not working and I need to use it asap

If you really do mean the original Photoshop CS (which shipped in 2003) then Adobe decommissioned the CS2 activation server in Dec 2012 so you can no longer activate CS or CS2.
In its place Adobe has provided fresh new downloads of CS2 (for CS and CS2 owners) which do not require activation provided you use the new serial number issued by Adobe.

You must download the new installer and you must use the new serial number provided at that link. Your current serial number will no longer work.

Help activating a photoshop cs6 subscription

I started out with a Photoshop cs6 subscription edition almost a year ago and have been re-activating monthly. I just found out while connecting to re-activate for this month that Individual Creative Suite subscription edition products have become single-app memberships in Creative Cloud. I don't have a problem with that. But after reactivating, Photoshop comes up now as a trial version of Photoshop "extended", and is giving me 30 days to start paying for that version, and I don't have a need to do that. Question is, after 30 days is my original Photoshop cs6 going to stop working too, and what do I do to get it back?.....or will the trial version of "extended" just go away?

Help activating CS6 Photoshop

I just purchased CS6, I entered my redemption code and was not issued a serial number (it said it wasn't needed). Was told to download Creative Cloud installer.dmg for Mac which I did, it then asked for my serial number. Round robin and getting no where.

The subscription version does not use serial numbers, only your Adobe ID.

Can I have a decreased / cheaper monthly priced membership for some time, by keeping active only Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Acrobat?

Hello, and good evening from Athens, Greece.
I would like to ask a question concerning my CC membership.
I’ve started 1 and a half year ago by paying 29,99 € for the entire CC (all programs). Now, it’s 49,99 € and I’m having a really difficult time to keep it this way. I’m living in a country which is in the middle of crisis and my profession as a graphic designer, is not an exception to reduced spendings on advertising.
My question is, can I have a decreased / cheaper monthly priced membership for some time, by keeping active only Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Acrobat? I don’t need for now the other apps. Can I have a membership plan only for those applications? I would very much appreciate your respond, a help and a solution to my issue.

I think you mean Photoshop CS2. Photoshop 2 is from around 1992. The old Adobe activation servers were taken down. CS2 is about a decade old Adobe made a new download for old customers that legal customers can download and install. Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

"Slightly corrupted" sounds very much akin to "slightly pregnant". Hard to imagine.
I assume you're referring to some sort of image quality deterioration or some added artifacts.
Could you post a screen shot? Just so that someone familiar with PDFs opened in CC can form an idea of the nature of the "corruption" and where the cause might lie.
If you post back, please give complete hardware and software details about your setup, including the exact version of CC so they can see if all updates have been applied.

Older photoshop elements programs

Can custom print sizes be made, like on the older photoshop elements programs?
I have owned Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 and 6, I loved working with the both of the programs!
Any information would help a lot?

I’ve found in the print dialog that if I click More Options and select custom it defaults to a thumbnail size. I now resize the image first and then click Actual Size.

My old PCs havent Internet; i can´t active my Photoshop!

Tired of activating my photoshop cs6 every day

Tired of activating my photoshop cs6 every day for the last year and calling, and uninstalling and reinstalling.

wondered if I could have been sold a trial version. I paid around $700.
They probably mean a "beta". The resounding answer would be no. That sounds like grasping at straws in the absence of another more likely explanation.
For the record, Adobe trial versions (meaning they expire 30 days after first launch if no serial number is entered) are identical in every respect to the paid-for version.
Re: your issue - are you saying that every single time you launch Photoshop CS6, you are faced with the Activation screen?
Have you installed the 13.0.1.1 updater? May help or it may be irrelevant.

Adobe TV helps tutorials for Photoshop CS6

When trying to view Adobe TV help tutorials for Photoshop CS6 all I see is a black screen/box where the video should be. I am running XP, with maximum memory, IE 8, and the latest Flash player. I have also run through all of the check points noted in the following link:

What is the size of your hard disk? PSE 4 is a very old program and I suspect it is not able to access the entire hard disk on your machine. Just a thought here.

Activation of photoshop cs2

I am trying to activate a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and when I select activate it tells me that the activation server is not available. No local help files for Photoshop CS6 extended

Hi
I wish to use local help files for Photoshop CS6 but only online support is available. Local files are not listed under the Adobe Help preferences. The option to search only local rather than online help is greyed out. I found and downloaded a PDF with of the help files but don't know where to install it or if this is possible. I have CS 5 Creative Suite and this works fine giving the option of local or online help when accessed.
Is there a way to install and use local help files in photoshop CS6?

Hi and thanks for directing me to that article, it should have done the trick. I am using mac mountain lion 10.8.5.
The help system has always operated oddly - I have Photoshop cs6 but also the cs5 master suite installed. CS5 works fine but Photoshop cs6 only gives the option for online help and then directs me to the CC site. There is no simple listing for just Photoshop help in the help menu - presumably as it is not seeing it installed
I tried various configurations in the article, having to set up the folders they suggested. In my case, in a variety of alternative places as I have a boot up volume with the documents folder moved onto a RAID array so the Shared folder is not in the documents folder but in Users on the boot drive. So - confusing - but tried all the likely candidates and folder configurations/locations while following the instructions as closely as possible. Even tried an documents folder alias to redirect the program to the alternative path way.
At least now I have the PDFs and can look through them outside the adobe interface. The problem with the community site being questions regarding photoshop alone, yield answers for all sort of other issues and programs.

Where is the help in Adobe Photoshop Elements 13?

I've just purchased Adobe Photshop Elements 13 but can't find any proper Help. When I click on Help on the File menu, I am taken to a web page (Photoshop Elements Help | Photoshop Elements Help). It doesn't matter what I am doing (e.g. using the clone tool or trying to apply kerning for example), I always end up on this same non-context-sensitive web page. I am an experienced user of graphics software but am new to Photoshop Elements.
I'm trying to kern some text characters so I entered "kerning" in the Search field. The first "hit" was InDesign Help | Kerning and tracking but nothing they say seems to apply to my particular version of Photoshop Elemts - whcih being V13 is hopefully the latest. And who are they? Are they an official voice for Adobe? Their "help" was way off.
Could someone point me to the Help for Adobe Photoshop Elements 13?
As an aside, why does Adobe hit one with a 27 page legal agreement before one can install the software? I confess I didn't have my lawyer with me and may not have read all 27 pages.

BTW, Elements 13 itself is really good. I'm really pleased with its features and ease of use. It would just be nice to locate the relevant help more easily.
There are available several books which augment the native help files. Photoshop Elements - The Missing Manual - by Barbara Brundage is excellent.
