Help!! adding new pages to doc with logo!!!

I've posted various questions for a couple hours now, none are answered. Is everyone sleeping or does no one know how to use Pages?? I'm near tears and I've read the manual about 10 times and don't understand it. I've tried to Google it but I'm not even sure what exactly to Google.
I have an 18 page document in Pages. It's just a plain old word processing document. A list of Gluten Free restaurants in my area. I add new restaurants to this list all the time so it needs to re-order itself as it does as a plain word processing document.
I want to brand it more so I'm putting my logo and a little design in the bottom left corner of each page, or at least thats how I'd like it to look.
So I set up page one, saved it as a template, captured it, done everything I can think of. But when I copy the document and paste it into the text boxt on the first page of the new document with the little logo on the page, all the subsequent pages do NOT have that logo on them. Just the first page.
IF I set up 18 pages with the logo, and then paste it just adds 17 blank pages after that first page with the logo. And those 17 pages that I set up prior to pasting are after the pages it added after the paste that have no logo.
How do it get this to add a page with the logo in the corner??
So when I add 5 new restaurants and it has to add a page to fit them it it will have that logo. This can't be that hard to do. I need the doucment to automatically add new pages when text is add and those pages need to have the logo,

I'm sorry you think that Peter and it isn't true. Maybe you are testy because its 2 am.
I spent hours trying to figure it out on my own. I looked all over these forums, I Googled it, I went to other Apple tips and forums I am familar with, went thru the manual. I tried a lot of places first so I really don't think I'm demanding and I'm sorry if I came off that way.
I was just super frustrated. Not being very computer savvy can be super frustrating, often I find what I "think" might be the answer for something I'm looking for and I can't even understand the answer. I try, I follow the steps but some of the terms I don't know and then have to google and follow more steps and blah blah.
I'm sorry but I didn't just come here without doing research first for the answer, so its not fair to say I expected others to do the work for me. I did try. I agree the information here us beyond useful, I never could have done anything without out in the past, I've used it many times. But you can shoot the messenger if you want but the response time does seem slower. Not sure why you take that personally.

I'm unable to open Pages '09 docs with imbedded images (JPG, GIF, TIF, etc) since upgrading to 10.6. I have not seen the same behavior from Pages docs w/o imbedded images. After further investigation, I need to refine my evaluation of the problem. I'm able to insert JPG, GIF, and TIF files taken from WWW or CS.
The issue is not with Pages, but with MakeMusic's Finale. You are able to export score/part examples as graphic files (TIF in v2008). As a music teacher, I'm importing those TIFs into pre-existing Pages documents for student assessment.
I've now been unable to open those TIFs directly in Preview or Finder Quick Look. It seems the expected information about a TIF in SN is no being produced by Finale.
I have consulted MakeMusic's forums and currently, there are no official statements from MakeMusic on the compatibility of 2008-2010 versions with SN.

Help trying to create a 2 page indesign doc with 1 landscape & 1 portrait page?

I'm creating a double sided A5 flyer, how do I create a 2 page indesign document with one page portrait & the other landscape?

You can use the Page tool to change one, but if it's going to print I think it would be better to make them both either ladscape or portrait, then use Rotate Spread View in the Pages panel to make one appear inthe other orientation on screen while work.

InDesign 6 not responding when adding new pages

Hi folks,
I'm having a continuing problem that sees InDesign 6 "not responding" every time I try to add a new page or duplicate a spread on a document I'm working on.
This doesn't seem to be a problem on a new document - only on my working file, which is due at the printer tomorrow!!
Can anyone offer any advice as to what the problem may be.
Typically, I need an answer ASAP.

Adding new characteristics to cube with data

Hi Gurus,
i need to add some characteristics to a cube already in production, this cube is customized version of material stocks/movements cube (0ic_c03).
i am looking for a way to add the new characteristics without having to do reinitialisation (opening stock,...), i am thinking about a loopback process but how do i manage to get the new characteristics populated for the historical data?

Hi,
If you want to load historial data, you must take ECC down time and re-intialization is required.Becasue you are adding new object in Cube and for that you need to change the Update rules, then need to load historical data, so without down time and reinitialization it is not possible.
Check like below.
You have data in PSA, so try to delete data from Cube and then load from PSA. Because you may write code in Update rules on;y I think. So in that case, it may work.

Help adding new Macs to the household, creating shared drive for iTunes,

I have a few questions:
My husband and I recently both got MacBook Pros. Our former set-up was a iMac which backs up to a 500 G Time Capsule. We have a large iTunes library and iPhoto library on the iMac. The iMac is going to turn in to the kids computer. I would like to do the following:
1. transfer photos to my MBP (#1). Will the Time Machine backup for the iMac become significantly smaller, making room for the soon to be larger backup of the MBP #1? Little confused how that is going to work.
2. have shared access to iTunes library? basically it would be nice for all 3 computers to have the complete iTunes library, but I would also like to backup all 3 computers using Time Machine and don't want to have triplicates of the library. I was trying to figure out if the way to go is to put the iTunes on a shared drive on the Time Capsule, but is there a way for the 3 computers to 'sync' to the shared drive when new music is added? Finally, if the iTunes is within a shared drive does that mean it won't be backed up?
Much appreciation and thanks to anyone who can help make sense of this.

Update: Downloaded free version of Syncopation, and am hopeful this is going to some what solve my iTunes issue.
New question would be: when creating the Time Machine backups for MBP#1 and MBP #2 can I NOT back up the iTunes folders? That would save approx. 36G on each of these backups, right? 72G total of the Time Capsule space. And the assumption is that with Syncopation, as long as the iMac iTunes is backed up then, you have everything.

Help adding new WLC to existing ACS

I need help with this.
This network has a working WLC that authenticates wireless users against an ACS by MAC address. It works fine.
I need to add a new WLC.
I added the WLC, the APs connect to the WLC fine, but the users get limited connectivity and we've found out that is because the new WLC is getting authentication errors against the ACS.
The configuration of the new WLC is exactly the same as the current working WLC and both controllers show as AAA clients on the ACS.
I want to know if somebody can point me out in the right direction to solve this.
There's connectivity fine between all devices (as far as PING goes), and there's no Firewall or filters in between.
The difference I see on both WLCs is that on the working one (WLC1), under Security - AP Policies, we see the AP Authorization List with the MAC addresses/cert type/hash. We don't get this information on the non-working WLC (attached document shows both)
Also in the attached document, I'm sending the errors I get no the WLC2 controller.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I didn't get you when you say that you see only One WLC under groupsetup/Mac address. Could you please elaborate this?
Also, if you don't know see any NAR configured under shared profile component then check inside the group/user setup there must be either ip based or CLI/DNIS based NAR configured for WLC's and looking at failed attempts it seem that action is denied.

Install Palm Desktop 6.2.2 on the new computer. Then if you have a wireless router, use Wi-Fi to sync your TX to the new installation. If your new computer is 32-bit, you should also be able to sync with a cable.
If you use any third-party apps which have a desktop component (such as Documents To Go), you'll also have to install those apps onto the new laptop. Also, in order to continue to use it on your new laptop you would need to upgrade Documents To Go to the latest Vista/7 compatible version.
Strong suggestion: before you do anything, download and install the freeware backup application called NVBackup. It will backup your entire TX's contents to a SD card, so that in case anything goes awry in the migration, you will be literally moments away from restoring your data.

Adding new infoobject to cube with data

Hi experts
Our cube contains data and is fully compressed (E-table), there is are no requests in F-table.
We need to add 2 key figures and 2 characteristics.
The characteristics get a new dimension table.
We don't use the remodel technique. We add these new infoobjects.
There is no need for a reload of historical data for these new objects.
We only need data starting from the first load date after the changes occured.
Are there any errors in this approach?

When you are adding a new dimension to your cube - you are adding a primary key to your E and F Fact tables - therefore when your transport goes it - it will reorganize your cube tables.
For this - assuming that you are collecting the changes in the normal way and not changing any settings ....
1. Check the UNDO table space in target system , the UNDO table space should have enought free space available that will be greater than the size of your E and F Fact table sizes - because , the way the transport moves is that a copy of the table is taken in the undo table space in the database and then the tables are adjusted - if your undo table space is insufficient - the transport will fail after some time
2. If this is a big cube - then the transport will take time to go in - if BASIS imports transport requests in sequence - then this transport will hold the queue and might delay others whi have smaller transports.... make sure that your transport goes in last if there are others waiting for you to complete
3. Also inform BASIS that the transport is going to take time - sometimes long running transports can get the BASIS team excited :-)
These are not technical but some bases that can be covered in advance...

Let's clarify, please. When you say "iTunes account" are you referring to the collection of tracks on your computer, or are you referring to an account with the iTunes Store?
If you mean that you want to have a collection of music on your computer separate from that you set up in iTunes for your boyfriend, and you want to keep your boyfriend's iTunes as it is, then what you need to do is set up a new Windows user account. Then you can have your iTunes separate from that of your boyfriend.

Print in new page while working with template

Hi all
I have created a form which has a template for printing invoice.
I am trying to print data from a table in one LINE in template. Since the height of LINE is not sufficient to display all records in the table, I want to display the remaining entries on next page. I am a beginner and I have been searching around but could not get proper help.
Please guide me on how to achieve this functionality.

Hello Harsh,
As Abhi mentioned, it will be better if you can use table to print line details if you are not sure how many line it would be.
If you know the number of lines, then you can use with the template also, but I will recommend to use table structure only.
If you are calling the same in the MAIN window and the data flows, then it should be print in the next page and it will follow like this till end. It is the property of the MAIN Window.
Please make sure that you called the same inside the MAIN window.

Help! New 5th gen problem with Software version 1.2.3!

Just when you thought you havn't heard about enough problems with the new ipod software here comes a weird one. My Ipod still plays songs and the usual stuff. But the timer at the bottom of the screen that tells you how far you are into the song gets off track, slows down, and eventually starts ticking 3 seconds per 1 real second. And ill start hereing glitches and pauses in the music. And its every song it happens. Thanks for the help!

I had the same problem. I upgraded my 30G to 1.2.2, and everything looked fine. However, when I disconnected my iPod there were no music or video files showing. But the hard drive space showing as Available under Settings>About>Available indicates that the hard rive space for my muic and videos is still being used. I read a lot of posts about 1.2.2 problems and 7.5 upgrade for iTunes being the fix. I would go to the Help tab in iTunes and tell it to check for upgrade, and it would tell me that 7.5 was avialable. I would click yes to download but nothing happened. I tried this many times, with my iPod connected, not connected, rebooting, etc, it was enough to go insane.
Here is how I solved it. I went to: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
and downloaded the entire iTunes 7.5 instead of the upgrade. After it installed itself, I rebooted, opened iTunes, and connected my iPod, it synced and now it is back to normal. Beware, if you try resetting your iPod, it warns that it will erase the contents of your iPod hard drive.
I have windows XP, hp laptop, and a 5th gen 30G.

Help a new Mac owner out with my iPhone

Yesterday I purchased the new 13.3 Macbook, and so far I'm learning what all the new computer has to offer. I'm a new mac user, and all of this is new to me... heck, I'm just not very savy when it comes to ANY computer.
I'm at the step where I need to sync my iPhone to iTunes. I plugged in the phone, hit sync, and when it was finished - all my contacts were there, but all of the applications are gone.
Only the original ones remain, the ones that were there when I purchased the phone.
Is there a setting I'm missing here?

In regards to iTunes content, an iPhone can be synced with an iTunes library on a single computer only. When syncing iTunes content with iTunes on another computer, all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first.
You need to transfer your iTunes library from the computer you were syncing iTunes content with for your iPhone to your new Mac. If you live near an Apple Store, the store will help you do this with a new Mac purchase. The same for photos and any other data available on your previous computer that you want/need available on your Mac.

Help! New to Mac - compatability with DVI and JVC HDTV

Hope someone can help. I'm new to mac and have just bought a mac mini and a JVC LT32DS HDTV to use as a media centre. I've scanned through the hundreds of postings on the DVI problem with the mac and would like an idiots guide (literally!)as how to set the mini to work with the JVC TV.
Following the advice I've got the two working witha VGA connection but once I use the DVI/HDMI (profigold)cable the screen is not stable and keeps flashing in and out view. I've tried various resolution settings but get no stability. I've read about Switch Res X but don't really know if this is the right way to go.

I went to "Mediamarkt" and tried two Philips HDTVs
1) 26PF5320
2) 26PF9320
TV 1) had no problem accepting the DVI signal from the mini at all the native resolutions I tried (no extra software). TV 2) -- originally my favoured one -- had a barely noticeable overscan on the menubar.
So I bought the 26PF5320: a bit cheaper but also higher native resolution.
So it pays to compare even similar models. Retailers will understand the situation. However, it's important to go on a slow day -- not on Saturday -- and maybe hurry up before Christmas. Understandably they don't want to spend too much time on demonstrations when the store is full of potential customers.
The young man from the store was very impressed with the mini. Less impressed with Quicktime and that you have to pay to get a full-screen video. But that's another story.
I was able to carry the TV and the mini (the latter in a backpack) from the store to the tram and then from the tram stop to home. Just two year ago this would have been science-fiction.
I will try to collect more data on HDTV/mini matches and mismatches and maybe put it in an ASCII table for a start.
