Help Adobe form - new joiner

Hi all,
Can anyone please send me some document or help me some pointers as to how to create an ADOBE form and like form interactive with SAP?
I need use the Adobe form for a Purchase Request.
Eventually could me indicate some standard forms?
We've Abap Dynpro.

New to Adobe Forms and need help with Submit Email button

I am new to Adobe Forms in Windows. I created a form with a submit email button. When users try to click the button, the message is operation cannot be completed. My test user has Adobe Reader 9 installed. I'm at a loss as to how to resolve the issue. Please assist. TIA!

Three different aspects
1. Set the form up to submit the data (XML or FDF), not the full PDF. You can import the data to the PDF on your end.
2. You can turn on Extended Reader Rights, but then limit the use/users to 500 by the EULA. The applicability of this option depends on your intended application. In a small office, it would be fine. For general web use you would likely exceed the limit and be in violation of the EULA.
3. There may be an e-mail problem, one reason that e-mail is not recommended for form submission (even if the manual discusses it). Again, in a controlled environment like an office it will probably work fine, but in a web setup it is best to use a web script. There are 2 problems with e-mail that both depend on the client system (YOU have no control, but will be blamed in any case). First, the client machine has to be set up as an active MAPI client. Many folks do not have this on. Second, some e-mail clients treat PDFs like text and the result is a corrupt e-mail submission, even if it makes to you.
If you have the possibility of web submission, do it. I suggest only having the form data submitted and not the form.

Problem with new page triggering in ADOBE Forms

Hi all,
             I am workin on a Purchase Order adobe form. I have a requirement to dispay Other stipulation text after completion of all the information. The text should be displayed on a fresh new page. I can able to display the text on new page, but if the text is not there then its displaying a blank page. How to avoid this blank page.
Can anybody please help to solve this issue

It is because you are calling a NEW-PAGE in the main window and you have not mentioned which should be the next page. For that you need to Go to SE71==> Pages==>Standard Attributes==> Mention the <b>Next page</b>
Assign the same for both the pages !

I am very new to Adobe forms and am doing hands on using some tutorials. However, though I searched a lot, I didn't get help in some points.
1. What is the significance of Accessibility in Palettes? When should we go for Header Row, Table, Body Row etc.?
2. I do not have Body Pages tab (using 6.0) but have Design View. Hope both are same. Please confirm.
3. I feel the difference between Positioned and Flowed is about the subform being static and dynamic. But whenever I change some subform to Flowed, the fields are becoming misplaced. In other words, I made 2 fields side by side and both wrapped in a subform. When I change content to Flowed..both are appearing one below the another. Why so? How to rectify it?
4. Sometimes I am unable to shift the fields anywhere. As in, Layout is fixed and I couldn't move them from their positions. Or I can not minimize or maximize the subform layout too. Why so?

<Sai> This similar to Grid & flowed layout in Webdynpro, if its flowed which mean all the elements in that subform are place one after another it has hot 2 option top to bottom which mean alla are just placed vertically other is western text where the elements are placed one after the other from left to right. where as in positioned layout you can specify the X&Y coordinates and the element is sticked to that p[osition</Sai>

Adobe form data refresh on new action

I have a table where the first column has a data field with a link to an action, the action calls a method to execute a model and then displays a new view with an InteractiveForm to display the data for the selected field. So, select an employee in the table, model is executed, Adobe form is displayed to show the data for that employee. The manager can then click a back button to go back and select a new employee from the table and then display the Adobe form for the new employee. This all works great the 1st time, but when I go back and select a new employee the Adobe form still displays the data for the 1st employee. I have added fields mapped to the context values to verify that the data is changing each time I select a new employee, but the Adobe form does not get updated. This seems too easy, what am I missing to clear my Adobe form and populate the new data the next time in?

just try to change the mode property of the interactive form element to " generatePdf" and check.

First Go To Layout.
On Hicherchy Platte , rightclick on Subform and select option new body page.
This way you can create body page for the particular subform.
if you want to create master page , right click on page 1 and select New master page.

Seems like there is a problem in configuring your ADS RFC connection.
Go the transaction SM59 ( Maintain RFC connection ) there search for RFC Destination ADS of type G and test it.
If it doesn't works fine then report to your IT guy.

I think there is no way to do this, atleast for Adobe Designer v.7.0. But if you know XML or java scripting you can try that. I dont have much knowledge on it.
   However there is one way. Add dummy records in the table so that there are mulitple of 50 records for each employee. I have also heard that adobe designer 7.1 has some extra options. Please try that if possible.
Please let me know too if you find anything out. It will help me too..

I have a very unique requirement as such we have a form and in the "TO" string field where we specify the email address of the receivers, now we want to send address memo to multiple users, however in our search window we can search only one name at a time & need to open search window every time for every new user to be included in the address field. We need to have AJAX type of functionality such as AJAX does asynchronous calls to the back-end and get help values dynamically even when the user is entering help values.
In my case if I start typing S in the manager filed, an event should get triggered and return back the names of all managers who start with the letter S,
If we go to Google.com and start typing, as you type,e Google gets help values and displays them below the input field. This is based on making asynchronous calls to the back-end.
We want to send interactive adobe forms to the multiple users for their approval or information. while entering email ids of multiple users, we need to have functionality as described above.
I'll appreciate if anyone can help with some clear steps, document link or working code sample etc.

How to print a signature in Adobe form using PCL - HELP!

Hello,
I'm using Adobe LiveCycle and I'm trying to get my form to print a signature at the bottom right on the given signature line. Our HP LaserJet printer has a SIMM installed which contains the signature in digitized form. I need to issue a hexadecimal instruction using PCL which contains the code that tells the printer to print the stored signature. I know this is doable in SAPscript, but is it doable in Adobe???

I think it is handled differently in Adobe forms as here all the print data is created by ADS.

How to call New Page conditionally in Adobe Form

Hi,
   Actually I want to develope a adobe form in which the employee training details will be come Page wise.
Suppose there is 2 employee one has 90 and another has 60 training details.Suppose on each page only 50 line items can be displayed.now for first employee in 1-st page 50 line item will come ,there afte in secon page 40 line item will be come.Now when second Employee details is coming it should not come in secon page .it should be come on third page.
     Can anybody help me regarding this matter
