My After Effect can't render into mpeg2, it always return this error message even if it's just a one empty 30 second composition.

Huh? What are the comp settings? They must be 720x480 for NTSC or 720x576 for PAL with teh respective correct pixel aspect ratios. Also make sure to disable/enable audio as needed in bothe the main Output Module settings >>>and<<< the MPEG-II exporter (just in case this will be the next error that pops up.

Adobe After Effects Cs6 Installation Error. HELP!

When i do my installation of Adobe After effects cs6, i install as trial version, because i want to see what it is like, and i do everything like everyone says, and then it stops at 2 percent saying Installation Failed and it comes up with these solutions, and i did them all about 5 times and it STILL wont work! SOMEBODY HELP!
And it also saidthis in the error summary:

I have installed After Effects CS 5.5 on my new Mac, through the Adobe Creative Suite Help / Download CS 5.5 products. This error keeps on coming up when ever I open an old project or I'm about to save a new one. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, used the clean up tool provided by Adobe and nothing is working. I even chatted with Adobe Tech Support and the user informed me that my "issue needs expert assistance". I could really use some help! Please and thank you!

Thank you Rick! I have reset the permissions in the Library/Preferences folder, I don't know if I did it correctly so I made a before and after to show you what I changed.
And here is the new warning message now. And when I tried to save a new test composition, the original error came up, so I'm assuming I didn't change the permissions correctly.

After Effects CC (2014) Error "I need some serious help right now!"

I wanted to create a Superman opening title sequence from After Effects CC (2014). So, I decided to download it from Creative Cloud and put the new "amtlib.framework" file on package contents in the "Framework" folder. I open the application and I get this error.
Then, this other error popped up.
That's where I'm at right now. So, a few questions come to mind.
1. Should I open it in trial mode and quit out of it and then add the "amtlib.framework" file to "Framework" or will it just open and give me the same errors?
2. Do I have to turn off my Wi-Fi and then open the application?
3. Do I have to get the updates first?
Anyone who knows what to do with this issue, I would appreciate it. Don't give me BS answers and don't tell me that I have to update from Mavericks to Yosemite, because I have no interest in Yosemite.
Before I forget, here's info on my MacBook for those wondering.
This is an old laptop I had in the last week of January of 2011. I upgraded it to OS X Lion to Mavericks on 2014. I'm still on Mavericks.
Anyways, some answers and guidance would be great so I can fix the issue and move on.

Yes, it is. And with an unsuitable processor and insufficient graphics memory at that. This will never work. You can only download an older version of AE as a trial.

Yes, I am trying to install AE Through the Creative Cloud app. And yes, I have only just installed the Creative Cloud. The exact steps I am taking are:
First I click on the "apps" tab in the Creative Cloud window, this brings up the list of available trials. Next, I click on the "Try" button next to "After Effects CC (2014)", the installation only gets to 43%. The button "Installation Failed - Learn More".

My After effects wont open. I've read many forums and info that others have written about it not opening. Stuff about erasing fonts, deactivating fonts, then also, finding folders /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/CS4/MediaCore---> which was empty and had nothing to erase or do anything with http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/2/973961 ...Still nothing.

What exact version of After Effects? Include the minor version number (e.g., After Effects CS5.5 with the 10.5.1 update). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates"; give the specific version number.

It has worked for about 4 or 5 days. It was even working when i was doing the same action prior to the last time it stopped working. I was uploading a file from my other computers file. Which i had done many times throughout the day. As i work on one computer and when i have to leave and bring my laptop with me i do so. Because i work on my computer all day long. Desktop or laptop.
Do you have QuickTime installed. (You should.) If so, what version? The answer should be specific, such as "QuickTime 7.6.2".

After Effects CS5.5 Error Rendering known clean project even after Reinstall and after System Restore

I've been getting frequent, but not consistent, errors during rendering AE CS5.5 projects with lots of 3D layers and lights. I have gone back to a known clean project to confirm the issue isn't with a particular project. The error is usually an error invoking the advanced 3D render engine. This is sometimes followed by a bad tracked memory id popup. But sometimes the program just hangs up.
My System:

24GB RAM
Windows 7 professional 64 bit SP1
NVidia Geforce GTX 570
I have trashed the preferences, cleaned the cache, turned off rendering multiple frames, deleted Open GL, updated the graphics card drivers and even tried reverting to old graphics card drivers. Window's Memory Diagnostic Tool didn't find any problems. System File Checker Tool didn't find any corrupt files. My system drive is not fragmented. I have reinstalled AE, reinstalled all of CS5.5, and did a system restore to a known working point (both with and without doing the Windows updates that have occurred since the restore point). None of this fixed the problem.
I have tried the script BG Renderer to render in the background. I have consistently gotten the following error running the script, which I'm hoping will be a clue:
"aerender ERROR An existing connection was forcible closed by the remote host.
:Unable to receive at line 314
aerender ERROR: After Effects can not render for aerender. Another instance of aerender, or another script, may be running; or, AE may be waiting for a response from a modal dialog, or for a render to complete. Try running aerender without the - reuse flag to invoke a separate instance of After Effects."
The first two times I tried to render with BG Renderer, the error came right after closing AE. But I still got the same error if I left AE open and just sat and watched.
Any help is appreciated.

Update: I believe I have discovered the problem! It was a bad RAM stick. Windows Memory Diagnostic tool found nothing wrong, and nothing in my system seemed to be effected other than the ability to render complex AE projects with 3D layers. After a complete system restore to a known working point failed to help, I opened up the machine. Finding nothing loose, I methodically tested all the memory sticks to find the culprit. Everything is running smoothly now, albeit on less RAM.

Adobe After Effects CS5 & Quicktime ERRORS / crashing...

I am having a lot of AE CS5 crashing (app just quits for no reason while scrubbing) and other weirdness...like today, and I am being told on the Adobe Boards that it 's Quicktime related. I am rendering a 3 minute piece in ProRes 4:2:2 (1280x720p) to my RAID (no special plug-ins or anything) and I get the following error at the very end of every render:
+After Effects Error: Rendering error while writing to file (insert my RAID path here). An output module failed. The file may be damaged or corrupted (-1610153464)+
They are telling me the long number at the end indicates a Quicktime problem, which is unfortunately not so rare with 64bit AE due to how Apple does not really have a 64bit Quicktime and Adobe needs to work their way around some of that.
Is this true? Can I fix this on my own or is there a 64-Bit QT Pro coming with the new Final Cut Studio? Any input is gratefully appreciated...thanks.

After Effects CS4 Rendering Error

Every time I try to render a small loop I get the error message of :After Effects Error: Creating file "comp1.mov"- Access denied (-5000) (3::3)

What version of AE are you using and on what OS ?
Basically AE cannot write your file because it's already been used by another program. It could be locked by Quicktime, or maybe locked by your antivirus, or Time machine, or Even AE if the file is opened in your project.
It also can be locked because of file/folder permission (even if you are an administrator on Vista for exemple, your software cannot write file to some places without running them in Administrator mode, by rightclicking on them and selecting "run as admin").
Try to close any application that could be using your file, and try to export your file to another directory with another filename.
