Help! After iOS 6 update "Account Not in This Store".

Hello.
After the recent iOS update, I decided to update some apps. However, when I attempted to update them, it says that the account is not valid for use in the Australian store and that I should switch to the New Zealand store before purchasing. Before the update, everything was working fine. My Apple ID says that I'm using the correct country, which is Australia. I have tried all the solutions that I have found in google: clicking on the Apple ID at the bottom of featured in the app store and by logging in and out. I have also done this in settings.
Do you guys have any other ideas to tackle this problem?

I was having the same problem and after applying a lot of solutions I've seen here none of them worked for me so what I did was to download the application (for iPad or iPhone) to my notebook and after that perform the synchronization between the notebook and the (iPad or iPhone) that updated the apps in the iPad without error message.

App Store can't update - Account Not In This Store

Dear all, I hope someone could help me out here.
I've tried updating all my apps on App Store, but none of them can be updated. Now, I have over 80+ apps waiting to be updated.
The problem here is that whenever I tried to update, my iPhone 5 will prompt "Your account is not valid for use in the US store. You must switch to Singapore store before purchasing". I have tried changing all locations to Singapore, but this issue still exists.
I'm using iOS 6.1.4. Can someone please help?

I was having the same problem and after applying a lot of solutions I've seen here none of them worked for me so what I did was to download the application (for iPad or iPhone) to my notebook and after that perform the synchronization between the notebook and the (iPad or iPhone) that updated the apps in the iPad without error message.

After updating my iPad2 to iOS6 I cannot update my Apps anymore. Error message says "Account not in this store". I changed my iTunes store to Philippines and synced my iPad. Didn't do any good.

Go here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
and confirm that it's set to the correct country for your account. If it is, try signing out of your account and back in.

Whenever I updated or downloaded a new app from the App Store, a message appears saying:
"Account Not In This Store
Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Swedish. store before purchasing."
I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

Iphone ios7 update error "account not in this store"

hi all, with ios7 update iphone keeps giving error " account not in this store" and some apps can not update because of this.
any ideas how to solve it? all details: country, payment details are correct. Itunes account is same with same country but even after syncing the error remains.

Update: This problem only occurs when trying to UPDATE apps, not buy or download brand new ones. Further, it only fails to update apps that I purchased previously.
I tried downloading some new apps from within the phone, and this worked fine, and later they updated fine, also within the phone. But the older apps still give the same error when I try to update them.

I don't remember changing anything, and I used to be able to update, no problem.. I have synced with my computer for music - could it have happened then? I changed on the computer to Cdn site, but will it not go to the iPhone automatically?

On you iPhone go to settings-iTunes & AppStore.
Tap user name, sign out.
Log back in with your apple ID and password.
That should fix the problem

The Apple id that you created do you remember if you created with your region sellected as Canada or US. If so you can change Region directly on your device by clicking on App Store icon, Scroll to bottom and tap your app is, click view acct and change region

I just read this solution, tried it & now it's working...
I think I found a fix...I went to Settings, iTunes & App Stores, then click on your Apple ID...view Apple ID...change country region to USA (even though it was already USA...just do it again...go through the steps making sure the United States store is selected...agree to the Terms of Service, THEN I think what the key is is to RE-auhorize your credit card...in my case all I had to do was enter the security code...and it worked...I am now able to download the YouTube app for example...couldn't do it before.

Alright, let's check with iTS to see if they can confirm the nationality, and perhaps anything else that may be problematic with that account.

On the iPhone, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
Select your Apple ID at the top and with the menu window that appears, select Sign Out.
Follow this by signing back in with your Apple ID.

Go to settings,store and click on your ID then you can change the country for your store.

I recently tried updating my apps via the App Store from within my iPhone 4. However, I received the error, "Account not in this store. Your account is not valid for use in the UK store. You must switch to the US store before purchasing."
I checked in Settings -> iTunes and App Stores -> Apple ID -> View Apple ID. It listed my country as the US. To be on the safe side, I selected to change my country and then selected US again and filled in the details. This seemed to work fine, however I got the same error in the App Store.
I then signed out of my Apple ID and back in again. Still no luck.
The only other clue I have is that I once lived in the UK (before getting the iPhone), and while I was there I had a UK iTunes account (possibly started there, or possibly started as a US account and converted). When I returned to the US, I switched my iTunes account no problem and have made many purchases with it.
I'm at a loss now for what to do. Please help.
