HELP - all calendars gone! - deleted CalDAV account by accident

So the title basically says it all
How can I restore them ... please!

CalDAV account or calendars? If you go to http://me.com/calendar do you see your calendars?
If you see them, then you just have to set up the account in iCal.
Open iCal Preferences.
Click Accounts.
Click the plus button at the bottom of the page.
For both Description and Username, enter your full MobileMe email address, including @me.com or @mac.com. If you don't include @me.com or @mac.com, the setup will not be successful.
Enter your MobileMe password.
Click the disclosure triangle next to Server Options.
For Account URL, enter the following without quotes: "https://cal.me.com". Be sure to include the full URL, including the "https://". Note that you do not need to include a closing "/" at the end of the url.
Click Add.
If you don't see them, you have deleted them and unless you made a backup by exporting, they are gone.

  • Delete all calendars from an iCloud account

    Hi  Support Communities,
did anyone find a way to delete all calendars from an iCloud account? It seems that iCloud wants to keep at least one calendar. We use several accounts and one is only used to look at shared calendars from other accounts. So there is no need for its own empty calendar. On iOS I just hid this calendar, but on OS X it is always visible. I unchecked it, but it would be nice if I could just delete it. If I do so on an iOS device it is gone, but reappears later. Trying to delete it on a Mac results in an error that it can’t be deleted, same goes for the web interface at icloud.com. It’s just a cosmetic issue, but I would prefer it to be gone altogether. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Björn

I had hoped I was wrong, you never know. Well, thanks anyway!

  • Just got an iphone 4 from my dad and its his old iphone and i was gonna delete his account so i can put my account on the iphone but he does not remember the  password so I couldnt delete it. I need help deleting it without a password

just got an iphone 4 from my dad and its his old iphone and i was gonna delete his account so i can put my account on the iphone but he does not remember the  password so I couldnt delete it. I need help deleting it without a password.

If the iPad has Activation Lock - that is, it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device or to turn off Find My iPhone - then you will need that information. There's no way around it If your father can't remember the password, he'll need to recover it.
    http://iforgot.apple.com
If he can't do it via that page, then he'll have to call Apple Support and ask to speak with Account Security.
If that's not the "password" you meant, please post back and clarify.
    Regards.

  • Help me how to delete maximum accounts of iCloud. I forgot all accounts

I forgot all accounts that made on icloud .
    Help me pls.
I would like to delete all accounts

I am not understanding what it is you are having trouble with or what you wish to do. Please explain in more detail?

  • I registered the wrong information for my iCloud account--I misspelled and now want to change it.  Help is needed to delete the account and start anew.

I registered the the wrong information for my iCloud account--I misspelled the account name.  I accidentally spelled blackberry instead of blackbird.  How can I change this?

If you don't want to use an alias you'll have to create a new account as you cannot change the @icloud.com address once created.  You'll have to create a new ID, verify the ID, then use the ID to create the new account, and migrate your iCloud data to the new account.
If you are currently syncing data with iCloud, begin by saving any photo stream photos to your camera roll as mentioned above.  If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also need to open each of them and email them to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account.  Finally, if you are syncing any iWork documents with iCloud, turn off iCloud syncing in your iWork app settings.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Then in Settings>iCloud tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom, set up your new ID, verify the email address you use to create it by responding to Apple's verification email, then sign in with the new ID to create your new account.  Turn on your iCloud sync settings and choose Merge when prompted to upload your data to the new account.  When you turn Mail to On you will be prompted to create your new @icloud.com email address.  Be carefull to type it correctly as it cannot later be changed.

  • Help-- all downloaded songs deleted

When I wasn using iTunes just now, I got a message that said "iTunes cannot recognize some songs because the software is not recognized" (something to that effect, I don't remember the exact wording). I pressed OK and all of my downloaded songs are now deleted. My ipod was plugged in so they got erased from the ipod as well. The songs uploaded from CD are still there. How can I get them back? Why did this error message happen? I have the most recent version of iTunes, and I can't think of how this happened. Thanks in advance.

I think the new update for itunes has a bug on it cause last night it gave me a message for a song saying something like I didn't have permission or the song was copyrighted. I have had the same music on my Pod for months and that just happened after I downloaded the new Update.

  • All Calendars gone!

    iCal has stopped working!
On my Macbook all of my Calenders have disappeared, this could be since the MobileMe calendar upgrade.
All my data / calendars are still on the MobileMe Calendar and my iPhone.
My iPhone has stopped syncing with the Mobile Me calendar via the phone network and calendars will not sync between my Laptop and iphone via iTunes.
I have a hunch that it may be related to a change on the Mobile me service?
The most important thing for me is to not loose the data. Whilst it's on the server and the phone at least I still have access to it.
    How do I fix this?
One option would be to reinstall and re configure iCal to take all the data from the server. How would I do this?
Would I need to remove any 'Library stuff' first?
    Thanks
    D

    10.6.7 on the MacBook
I have a had a look at that document and could go through it with a fine toothcomb. What is really frustrating is that this has been working for a long time and just stopped. I suspect the quickest fix will be reinstal and reconfigure......
Is there any chance that the problem is related to my Apple id not being a mobile me email address? If this were the case it would be change at Apple's end.
I could use bootcamp to return to the state of the computer 3 days ago. The problem would be that other work and emails would then be out of date......
    Ideas please

  • How do I delete an old CalDAV account from iPhone that no longer exists?

A few months ago I tried to set up synching between my work calendar (via a CalDAV account) on my work Macbook, my iPhone and my home iMac. I never could get the account to set up in iCal on my iMac but it worked fine on my work Macbook and my iPhone. But we eventually went to using Google Apps, so now I don't need it.
The problem is that despite having removed the account entirely on my work Macbook's iCal, the calendar remains on my iPhone and keeps notifying me of reminders that had been set up there. When I go into my iPhone's settings, into Mail, Calendars, etc., the calendar is not there anymore (because I removed it when we got rid of using it at work) so I can't delete it.
I thought maybe somehow it was still hanging around on my home iMac, despite never having been able to set it up to work, but it's not there, either. The only place it exists is when I open iCal on my iPhone, although there's no way for me to delete it and when the notifications pop up I can't edit them, either.
Am I just out of luck here and stuck with this rogue calendar? When I plug my iPhone into my home iMac, where it's set up to sync, it tells me that my calendars are being synched over the air, not through iTunes. But when I go into system settings on that computer and force it to resync calendars, it doesn't get rid of the old CalDAV account on my phone.
    Any ideas?? I'm stumped.

If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID.  If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.)  Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID).  Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library).  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

  • Deleting inactive accounts

We have several home directory servers here and we're trying to weed out inactive accounts. Unfortunately, as people have left the college their homes haven't been deleted and their accounts are still active. Is there an easy way to determine the last time that someone has authenticated through Open Directory? If not, is there an easy way to see the last time that their home was modified? With either of these pieces of information we'll be able to disable the other side and free up space on the server.

If you log in as root you can goto the HomeDIR in the finder and sort as List view. Every time a user logs in that top level of the homedir folder in modified.
As far as WGM you can use the advanced password options and set all accounts to "Disable Login" after inactive for XX days. After you set this for lets say 30 days you can come back to WGM and all users that have not logged into there Home would be inactive users.
BTW Both option require that the users login to the server and it might create problems if you have e-mail only users. I'm pretty sure if the user was using webmail or just POP forwarding/retrieving his e-mail that you might delete his account by accident.
Beyond that the only way to get the info your looking for would be to have a Log snifer set to track it or be using ARD to Track client/users login. Maybe some other Admins have other ideas.

  • I deleted one of the email accounts from my i5 because I don't like all the password popups since upgradingto ios 7.2, and now ALL calendar entries are gone!  I need them!!!  Can anyone help?

I deleted one of the email accounts from my i5 because I don't like all the password popups since upgradingto ios 7.2, and now ALL calendar entries are gone!  I need them!!!  Can anyone help?

Well you need to add the email account back to get the calendar entries. Transfer them to another email provider.  Then delete the account you don't want.

  • I changed email address and had to delete my account and create a new one with the new email address. When I did this i lost all of the information in my calendar. How can I recover this vital information?

My email address changed and I had to delete my account and create a new one with the new address. After I did this all of the data in my iPhone calendar is gone. How can I recover this vital data?

It is my understanding that if you delete the account per the instructions below, you will be able recreate, but you will NOT have access to the prior BBM contacts.
Read this for full information and suggestions to regain access to your BBID >> http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-World/How-to-regain-access-to-your-BBID/td-p/25467...
You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
    Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.
    Good luck.

  • Help - All Contacts deleted after deleting mobile me account on iphone.

I don't know what has happened but all my contacts have gone from my iphone. The only thing I am conscious of doing is deleting the trial mobile me account from the iphone following the expiry of the trial period. Is there any backup on my computer to recover these? I can't see anything obvious in iTunes. Is there any other way of getting them back?

If the internet connection to your MobileMe online address book is lost for whatever reason (in this case you cancelled your MobileMe account so there was no longer an internet connection to your MobileMe online address book), the contacts on your iPhone don't disappear. The contacts are cached locally so if your MobileMe online address book is not available for whatever reason, you still have access to the contacts to place a call, send an MMS, etc.
When deleting the account from your iPhone, all contacts that had been synced over the air with your MobileMe account are deleted from your iPhone - the cache in this situation. When you first turned Contacts on for over the air syncing with your MobileMe account, what happened? If you don't remember, all existing contacts on your iPhone were erased and replaced with your MobileMe online address book. After this, the contacts were being kept synchronized with your MobileMe online address book but not technically stored locally on your iPhone. When you deleted the account, all contacts that had been synced over the air with your MobileMe online address book were deleted with the account.
Since all existing contacts on your iPhone were deleted when first turning Contacts on for over the air syncing with your MobileMe account, where did your MobileMe online contacts originate from? Did your MobileMe online contacts originate from the Address Book on your Mac? If not, they should have and should have been kept synchronized between your MobileMe online address book and your iPhone. If so, your contacts should remain in the Address Book on your Mac and you can sync your iPhone direct with the Address Book on your Mac via the iTunes sync process. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.

  • ICloud on my phone, and I want to delete his iCloud account, without losing all my data, including, my apps, contacts, calendar events, music. If I delete his account, will I still have everything saved from before?

My nephew set up his own iCloud account on my phone, and I want to delete his iCloud account, without losing all my data, including, my apps, contacts, calendar events, music. If I delete his account, will I still have everything saved from before deleting his account?? I don't want to lose a single thing...I'm afraid to delete his iCloud account, and risk losing EVERYTHING I have on my phone. Is there another way to save everything without the risk of losing everything from deleting his iCloud account?

Deleting the iCloud account from your phone only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with the account (that is, any data that is set to On in Settings>iCloud).  However, when you delete the account you are prompted about what to do with the iCloud data.  If you want to keep it on your phone, be sure to choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted.  Also, be sure to save any photo stream photos that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else before deleting the account.  To do this, open the photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.
Deleting the account will not touch any other data on your phone (music, apps, etc.).

  • Can't delete old CalDAV account

Whenever I start iCal I get the message:
*The server responded with an error*
The server did not recognize your user name or password for account “xyz.exampledomain.com.” Make sure you enter them correctly.
(I edited the actual server address, of course)
I understand this message, as I had been trying to set up my iCal to talk to a server I had been running, but since I originally did that, I have re-installed Snow Leopard Server on the machine it was syncing with and the server has a new address as well. I was able to set up iCal to run fine with the new server, but for some reason, I simply can't find a way to delete the old account and it's settings from iCal.
Whenever I go into iCal's preferences and highlight the old account and press the minus button, it gives me a warning message saying:
"Deleting the account "xyz.exampledomain.com" will remove all references to the calendars in the account. This operation can't be undone."
I, of course, choose delete. The calendar and the account seem to disappear fine (disappears from iCal preferences and from the calendar sidebar) until I quit and re-open iCal. When I reopen iCal this whole cycle starts all over again and I get the pop-up saying it couldn't communicate with the old CalDAV account...
Any ideas? I've tried the usual stuff (deleted the ~/Library... preferences for iCal, restarted the computer, cleared p-ram, reset SMU, start in safe-boot)...
    Details:
    iCal - Version 4.0 (1362)
    MacBook Pro 15" (late 2008)
    OS 10.6.1

Oh, and I forgot to respond to your question
@ "Are you syncing iCal, with MobileMe or another server? Even if not I suggest you re-set your SyncServices database."
I used to sync iCal with MobileMe, but stopped syncing with MobileMe before I ever created the CalDAV setting that is giving me this issue. Currently, I am syncing with a server I have set up that runs Snow Leopard Server's calendar server, but I have had this issue that does not allow me to delete the CalDAV account since before I started syncing with the server I am currently syncing with. Again, as mentioned in my post above, I tried resetting the sync services etc and have had no luck.
What Apple's support website has to say about removing the SyncServices folder has caused me to shy away from that option. But as a last resort, would reinstalling Snow Leopard fix this if I were to then restore my computer from a Time Machine backup? Or would Time Machine have probably backed up whatever file or setting is giving me this problem, and restoring it from that backup would only leave me having wasted time re-installing and restoring my computer?
Also, is there a practical way of deleting all files associated with iCal and then re-installing it? and would that help?
