Help!! Am I froze up?

I was updating my Ipod and somehow it appears I am now froze up. The Ipod list the first song as now playing but nothing happens if you push anything. I also can't get the Ipod to now update again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some new Macs require Windows 7. They don't contain the drivers for XP. See - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4410
Your friend probably has an older iMac like mine. I've installed XP at various points and it worked fine.

Help! iPhone6 froze and won't turn off

HElp! I was just setting my alarm in my iPhone to wake me up and while editing the alarm the phone became very slow in responding to my touch screen commands, and finally completely froze. The screen is full brightness, and I cannot power down, cannot do anything. I plugged the phone into my laptop thinking that an iTunes synch might wake it, but ttunes didn't even see the phone connected. I called my iPhone from a Landline and i got voicemail after four "rings"- the one didn't ring or anything.
What can I do?

Firefox continuely freezes, I have everything I can do, with no results. Hell this help page even froze, what the hell is going on.

stupid asses.....the more plugins the more CPU usage, the more freezing, & crashes.....dah! Your site is not that big to hold all these plugins your wanting us to use. Like anything else get one, in turn you get RID of one.....AND DON'T even ask or suggest that I use any of Firefox Security.....Firefox is NOT a security site, they have no clue, so DON'T mess with my McAfee!

Normally Flash works fine by itself, but it can have interactions and incompatibilities with other add-ons.
There are two Flash player settings you could change which might help: Flash's hardware acceleration setting and the new protected mode for Windows Vista/7.

PLEASE HELP MY IPHONE FROZE CAN I GET A NEW ONE?

SOMEONE PLEASE I'M SCARED TO DEATH AND I AM CRYING AND PRAYING FOR MY PHONE TO BE FIXED. I went to google to type up "Zayn in a dress" because I do like video edits. So i searched it up and my keyboard started flickering and i was like let me just open another app, but that didn't work. After a minute of waiting I shut off my phone, Well i tried but it wasn't working. I held onto the button for 5 minutes with and without the charger. All of a sudden my phone turned black and I pressed the button and my lock screen was the google page flickering. I am so scared because it isn't working. This happened like 30 minutes ago. My Iphone is real, my charger is real and my phone isn't cracked or nothing. Any help on how to fix this? If there is nothing to do am I allowed to return my Iphone to the Apple store tomorrow because the year isn't over yet. Please don't skip this I am really scared and I need help. I spent all my money I saved on this phone and my parents will kill me. I haven't been using my phone all day so I don't know what went wrongP

If you are still under warranty and the Apple Store finds a hardware issue, I'm sure they will take care of you. They can also help with restoring your iPhone if you are unable to complete that step on your own.
I would recommend trying to complete a backup in iTunes if iTunes will allow you to. Either way, you will continue on to restoring your iPhone. If you have issues with getting the restore option, please the iPhone into recovery mode.
Once your restore your iPhone, if the issue continues then you will need to get it serviced.
Locate a Service Center
Call Apple for Service and Support
Set up service on your own or check options and warranty
Questions about service and potential costs (Choose your country after selecting your product)

Need HELP MY ZMP Froze

Could someone please give me some advice as to how to fix this crazy thing. I had just updated my contacts and some song information on the player and let it charge to full, and when i disconnected it it froze on the "please wait..." screen... I know not to disconnect it when its transfering files, so I made sure it was done. BUT IT STILL FROZE!... i tried shutting it off... that didnt work it stays frozen, i tried pluggin it back into the computer... and it does recognize it, and it stays frozen still.... does anyone have some advice?!?!?

Make sure that battery is charged.
Detach your player from your PC, and ensure that it is turned off.
Remove the battery.
Move and hold the Power button to the Power On position and re-insert the battery to the Zen Micro. Hold the Power button until the Recovery Mode appears.
The following options will be displayed: </LI>
Clean Up (Performs a disk scan on the players hard disk, it will not affect music files)
Format All (Formats the players hard disk - Note: all contents will be lost)
Reload Firmware (Reloads the Operating System on the Jukebox. Select this option ONLY if you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.)
Reboot (Reboots the device). </LI>
Run the clean up then reboot

HELP my nano froze!

I plugged in my nano to add some songs, and it just froze. It's frozen and on 'hold'. When I flip hold off and on nothing happens, and I cannot turn it off and on using the Play/Pause button either! Does anyone know what to do?

Hold menu and select until you see the apple logo. This should reset it.

HELP ! Ipod froze while syncing so I unplugged. Now not showing any music on Ipod or in Itunes but will show the songs in my ipod control

So basicly I was trying to figure out on how to get all my album art back on my 160gb Ipod Classic. It showed in itunes but not on my ipod. My cover flow was full of Question marks. Having 140gb of music ir was fustrating manually putting it back on to each album. This happened a few months ago. So the 5 or 6gb of new music i put on since this happened is on my Ipod and show in my coverflow on my Ipod.
It came to a point where i had to leave my computer and noticed that my ipod was still in a synchnnizing stage and seemed like it was frozen. Having to leave the computer I had to unplug the ipod. By doing so, when i turned it on it said that i had no songs on my Ipod. When plugged into my itunes it also says no songs but at the bottom of the itunes screen it shows there is 140gb of "other Information" with 1.5 gb remaining but not music. I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder. I have had a few different computers since this new ipod has music from ages ago from an old 30gb classic and have transfered over the years on multiple computers (so restoring or syncing to this computer is out of the question). Thus all the ratings and playlist are very dear to me. Hundreds of hours invested in this ipod OVER 6 Years. It seems like there is some file missing or needed to link everything together.
I have spent endless hours trying many diffferent aproches. Like one forum said go into AL'S IPOD>IPOD CONTROL>ITUNES.. when in there they said to look for a file called ITunesDB and another called ITunesD8.old and switch them and rename ITunesD8.old_mlpmp but i only have the ituned DB not the ItunesDB.old

So i figure the problem started when i went into my control panel and chose show all hidden files so i can look at my files in the Ipod_control and was fooling around with the preference area by selecting the read only icon and disabling the hidden icon. I tried reversing this before ejecting my ipod but it was stuck in the Synchronizing do not disconnect mode and would not eject. Everytime i did try to eject it said in itunes with a yellow triangle saying " files or folders are in use in another area and cannot eject" even tho everyting has been closed......

Are you seeing your music listed in the iPod screen, or in Win explorer as in your earlier post?
I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder.
A corrupted iPod database, will report zero music used, and have your music size reported as others, so you wont see the music in the iPod screen. Sorry, I thought there was some hope for you with iPodAccess, in recovery of the corrupted iPod database with your ratings.
You can try to borrow and use the Mac Disk Utility ->First Aid ->Repair.
Of course, if your iPod Hardisk is in a bad state, from the Disk Diagnostic report, then all my suggestion are futile.

Help: My dock froze while installing Microsoft office: Mac

I was installing Microsoft Office 2008: Mac when the downloader got stuck at a certain point and the estimated time until finish is only increasing and the download bar is not moving. I tried to open up Firefox while this was happening and this resulted in me Force Quitting firefox and left me with a "Frozen Dock"
How should I handle this situation and should i cancel the download for office because their website says that i am entitled to a new product key since the download did not work.
Note: the microsoft office: mac that i am installing is from a disk, not the internet.

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Your post is a little confusing, first you say you were installing MS Office via a downloader and then later you say you are installing it from a Disc. If you installing it via the install disc the you are doing just that, installing not downloading.
Also when doing an installation it's generally not a good idea to be working in other applications as it seems you were by trying to use Firefox.
My recommendation would be to restart your computer and ONLY run the MS Office installation per the instructions MS provides. Do not have any other applications running. If it still fails then contact MS, you should be able to find the number in the documentation you received with the product. After you have installed it then run updates for it to ensure you are on the most up-to-date version which is currently 12.2.4.

HELP! Ipod froze!

I plugged my ipod into my computer to add songs to it, and the computer made the noise that it recognized it, but itunes never brought it up. The ipod also didn't recognize it, because the screen didn't come up about syncronizing. I unplugged it from the USB, and it turned on, but it is now stuck at the home screen. It has been like this for 20 minutes and counting. The scroll wheel and buttons are not responding either. What do I do?

Try Resetting your iPod. Toggle the hold switch off and on a few times then hold down the MENU and SELECT (centre) buttons for five or ten seconds until you see the Apple logo appear then the menu button to go to the normal display: iPod isn't responding it appears to be frozen

Hi hellomynameisbrooke,
Try rebooting the iPod by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot.
If that doesn't work, connect it to your computer and try restoring it via iTunes.

Help, my iTunes froze and when I opened it back up, it looked like it did when I first installed it 2 yrs ago. An Apple rep helped me uninstall and reinstall about 2 weeks ago, but it did it again. My questions is this: My files are all there in iTunes Music file. How do I get them back on the application? My warranty expired Sunday 9-18-11. They were helping me with podcast issues and artwork being messed up so this is a different issue. I am so frustrated and my attempts are futile. Please help.

What did you do to iTunes and the library folder to troubleshoot the podcast issues? Try undoing whatever you did, you can also try looking for previous iTunes libraries folder or re-creating the iTunes library.
If that doesn't work, you'll have to import the music again.

I am having consistant problems w/ my mb pro freezing for 20-60 seconds while working in different programs and apps. i've upgraded my RAM to 8gigs and deleted over 60 gig of pics and videos to try to help, but nothing seems to work.

I've now been having this problem for months. It just freezes up and either shows me the dumb color wheel or doesn't show me anything sometimes and i just cant do anything for about 20-60 seconds. i can't exposae or anything. Also while working on a power point presentation it froze 4 different times for good and i had to do a hard restart just to get it working again. i lost my work and had to keep starting over. it was so annoying. it seems most of the time it does it, it is while i'm in Excel, Outlook, or Powerpoint. so perhaps it has something to do with my microsoft office. but i have the newest version and all the updates and everything. and i believe its happened when doing other tasks too. So i just can't figure it out.
A few Mac friends suggested i free up some space on my hard drive and upgrade my RAM. So i did. i put all my videos and photos on an external harddrive and deleted them all on my computer. i also upgraded to 8 gigs of RAM.
And honestly i can't even tell a difference after doing both of these.
HELP! PLEASE HELP! I'M ABOUT TO GO CRAZY. And having all the non Mac believers telling me it cause i have a Mac even drives me more nuts..

it froze a few times over the last hour and half while browsing the internet.
and also while working in excel it all of the sudden shut down excel and said. "Excel has encountered and problem and needs to shut down, you may lose the work you were on." or something like that. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME TOO. Excel, outlook and powerpoint frequently just shut down on me out of now where. I've bolded and underlined when this happened.
