I have looked thru everything I can find on the web. So I will post again..
Ok, I have searched this forum and the apple site and cannot find any real info on how to address this issue. I use my win xp laptop to download tv shows to watch while traveling for work. Awhile back, I was prompted to download the newst version of Itunes. Once I did, I started encountering a specific problem I cannot rectify:
-Purchased entire Season of Survivor
-Set to allow simultaneous download.
-Everytime I try to either pause all, or select to pause one of the 3 or four downloading, crashes and closes Itunes.
UPDATE:It appears whenever I try to anything within the downloads area, it shuts down. No error mssg or anything.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice with no luck. I emailed Apple with no response. Sorry if this has been addressed, but I searched and could not find this specific issue addressed, thus I joined the forum so I could post this.

The iphone will mirror the selected content of your computer.
Make sure everything is on your computer. Select what you want on your iphone, sync

Unable to clear a specific file from the Download Manager. This file (type: .flv) download is "paused" and I cannot Resume or Clear from the history. Help anyone ?

I noticed a certain file is "stuck" in the Download Manager. The file download appears to be Paused and all attempts to remove / clear / resume have not worked. The file is a .flv type. The mouse-over info does show the url address and it shows 40MB /40MB complete. Help anyone ?

MacBook Pro does not sense external monitor (Panasonic HDTV in my case) via thunderbolt-HDMI connection...Is update 10.8.3 helping anyone?

My MacBook Pro (newest model in 2013 so far) does not sense external monitor (Panasonic HDTV in my case) via thunderbolt-HDMI connection...Is update 10.8.3 helping anyone else who has this issue? I returned my multiple HDMI adapters after figuring out it had to be an Apple issue n not the adapters so I can't check it myself now.

I have late 2012 MBP 13" and connect to my Panasonic Plasma correctly.
But using the same cable, can't connect to an LG 47LM6200, the MBP detects the TV, the screen blinks blue, but the TV shows "no sinal detected" message.

A bit late for this advice now, but hopefully you'll know what to do next time.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Highlight one in the Finder & do as Get Info on it, what does open With say to use?
What did you update 10.8.2 from exactly? 10.6.8 maybe?

Howdy there 15itechnic,
It sounds like you are getting a prompt when trying to use iTunes to sync an app to your iPod that you need to authorize your computer but it already is. I would next verify that the app in question was purchased with the same Apple ID as the one that you have iTunes authorized. The following article will help you find the Account Name. Open iTunes and go to the Apps section under Library in the Sidebar.
Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name

Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
Choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.

You would need to get it looked at to get an estimate. It could be a bad screen, logic board or battery.
Basic troubleshooting steps.

This situation does sound very frustrating. I know that you have tried some great troubleshooting steps already and the issue remains unresolved. Have you forced the Mail application to close and then opened it back fresh? If not, this is the next troubleshooting step I would suggest. Please let me know if the issue remains unresolved.

HT5654 I performed the update to my iphone to get the latest version, but now it does not want to activate my phone and displays the error message that the activation server is not available. Tried itunes and no luck. help anyone

I have an iphone 3gs of which I attempted the latest IOS pdate through itunes. Now, it shows the original start up screen and when it gets to the activiaton screen it displays an error message stating: Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Help anyone??

99.9% of the time, the cause of this issue is the fact the phone was jailbroken/hacked to unlock it for use on networks other than the network the phone was originally locked to. Apple maintains a database of officially unlocked iPhones, and when Apple's servers detect phones such as yours, activation stops & you get the message you got.
So, you need to get a sim card from the carrier the phone was originally locked to, or get it officially unlocked, if you want to activate it. Because it appears that it was not officially unlocked.

What do you consider a sensible price? PS CS6 extended is available only when you purchase the CS6 Suite, which is around $1000 for the upgrade from CS5. PS 6, which is not extended, is about $200, but I'm not sure about upgrading to a single app from a suite. Adobe used to allow it, but I'm not sure about now. PS CC and Lightroom 5 combo is $9.99 a month or PS CC alone for $19.99 or the whole CC suite for $29 a month. The latest CC apps are "extended."
