Help..apple id wrong in icloud setting on iphone

My apple ID is entered wrong on my iphone in icloud settings it won't backup and i tried to delete account and reset up asks for password that of course won't work.

What do you mean it was entered wrong. If it didn't match a registered Apple ID it wouldn't have accepted it.

My iphone 5 has iCloud. I didn't register for iCloud or sign up an ID for it, but it apparently is using an old Apple ID associated with a closed account. Today I tried to download Apple iOS 7 and the iCloud is telling me I need to log on to the iCloud otherwise right now I can't log on to my wifi network, I don't have my apps and need to reload them, and I have lost all information and data including personal photos saved since June on my iPhone. Try resetting the password for the Apple ID as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5787.
If you can't, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. You can either go to https://expresslane.apple.com, select "More Products and Services", then "Apple ID", then on the next page select "Other Apple ID Topics", then "Lost or forgotten Apple ID password" and click "Continue"; or you can contact Apple Support (http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/contact/).

I cannot update my Apple ID in my Icloud for my Iphone 5.

I have changed my Apple ID and email address online and it is working for my app store and my itunes. I have done the email verification and everything and all is working.
My issue is that the old Apple ID and password still shows in my "settings, Icloud, account information".
How can I get this changed to my new Apple ID and password? I have tried to do a backup and information push but it still has not changed.

You need to 'Delete Account', but choose to retain the information on your phone. Then, sign back into iCloud with the correct Apple ID, and turn iCloud backup on again, and do a manual backup to get the backup refreshed.

I bought my iphone about 6 months ago and I used my family's apple id for icloud but now I am going to college and think it is a good time to have my own apple id especially because i just bought a new computer and need to use an apple id for that too. I set up a new apple id on my computer and just need to change the apple id on my icloud on my phone. I was wondering if I change my apple id on my icloud on my phone will all my contacts and stuff be erased?

Are your contacts currently just on your phone or part of someone else's iCloud account. Have you enabled iCloud contact syncing under your iCloud account on your computer yet.

Apple Warranty is determined by the device. If the iPhone is reported clean to Apple, ie nothing illegal, then the Warranty is still valid. That said, when an iPhone does not function correctly, the Warranty could be void due to liquid exposure, etc. Make Appointment and take iPhone to Apple Store for help.

If you go to settings>itunes & app store, are you using the same account you see here to sign into iCloud with?
Also are you making sure you are entering the password in correct?

It continues to ask me for my password for the old address nd when i enter it or have tried to change it, it does not recognise that address. Do I have to take y phone back to new to be able to log in to the icloud with the changed email address?

Sync with iTunes so you have a backup. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. Restore the unit as New. Reconfigure for your new ID and password. Restore your apps, etc. from backup.

Hi Nicole,
Follow these steps to correct your issue:
1.     Log into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old ID (this is temporary). Do not verify the email address, just save the change and exit: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
2.     On your device, go to Settings>iCloud and scroll to the bottom and delete the iCloud account. When it asks for your password type in your current password, and follow the rest of the prompts to delete the account.
3.     Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to your new ID. If you need to re-verify it, do so.
4.     Go back to your device and sign onto iCloud with your new Apple ID
You should be all set!

You have to go to settings store then logout that the only place I know where to logout of the apple I'd.

Have you already verified your "new" email address? If not then please check your inbox for a confirmation email (also the junk folder). If you do not have a confirmation email then please sign in at https://appleid.apple.com and press "verify" for confirming your email address.

Changed my apple id however cannot now use this new password to finish setting up iCloud on new iPhone bought today. HELP

This afternoon I bought a new iPhone 6! Everything was good until I needed to submit my Apple ID password to finish setting up iCloud.
I forget this password and so reset the password. This password works on my computer however not on the iPhone when trying to complete setting up iCloud onto my new iPhone.
Can anyone please help!?

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPad and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPad when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
