Help! Atnt disabled my ability to connect to a wifi when I got cancelled
Hey All,
Maybe someone can help me because this seems like complete bs and unlikely BUT. Because I'm having financial problems I wasn't able to pay my bill until next week. So Atnt turned off my service, which I can understand.
However now NONE of my applications will use the wifi. I'm trying to use skype until the service is back on and it won't connect. I turn on the wifi, connect to my wireless router ( like I always do ) and the iPhone shows it's connected to the wifi but none of the phones applications will use it.
I've tried multiple wifi's from friends to hot spots and non work. I turn the airplane mode on and turn the wifi on so its not connect to Atnt and it still won't work.
Anyone help me with this? It started the day Atnt turned my service off. Atnt shouldn't have that type of control over this device so I'm thinking maybe its a bug they don't care about and I have to reset something. Anyone help!

Thanks for the question. It sounds like your iPhone doesn't appear under Devices in iTunes after you connect it to your Windows PC. If that sounds correct, check out this article to resolve the issue:

Also try settings>general>reset>reset all settings
If you have followed that article and restored your phone and set it up as new and you're still having that issue you may call and explain you followed the article and are still having the problem. Most likely they will either set up a replacement for you. If they ask you to set up the one time phone support agreement, and they assist you with a restore again, they won't bill you if they end up having to repair it. -

ipad is disabled and i had connect to itunes. but when i connected to my computer, its not sinc automatically , still ask me to enter the pascode first. so how can i restore my ipad ? seems my laptop didnt know or never get sinc with my ipad.
FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY. -
My Iphone has family emails that appear randomly when I try to update apps or generally have to log into my account. It comes up as my sister in laws address. She was once connected to our account when she got her phone at first. How can I remove? There are only two other email address's associated with my account and hers was never one of them! Hey guys. My IPhone 3GS is unlocked and i went to update the software and it said that an unknown error has occurred and said it needed to be restored to connect with Itunes. When i got to restore it, it gets about 3/4 of the way done, says an unknown error has occured(1015). I have no clue what to do and all and any help would be amazing.

does your wi-fi router filter access by MAC address? If it does, then have you added your MacBook Pro’s MAC address to your router’s whitelist of acceptable MAC addresses? -
my ipod only connects to the wifi when i am in the room of the router. as soon as i go out of the room into some other room it disconnects and doesn't connect again. unless i go to the room of the router. i have an ipod 4 with ios 6.1.6
Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now have this problem?
Did the iPod stay connected before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

when i turn on ipod it says it's disabled and connect to itunes. When i connect to itunes it says ipod locked with pass code unlock before connecting, which i can't do. Help!
You need to manually place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore it in iTunes. See this article for instructions on connecting your iPod to iTunes in recovery mode.

Lost ability to connect to open WiFi router
I've been using Leopard 10.5 that was installed when I bought the computer, and just updated to 10.5.4 which solved a problem I had running the original Adobe CS, InDesign was running 100+ percent of the CPU and crashing. But, I also lost the ability to connect to the open, non-WEP WiFi network in my studio. I have no idea why it won't connect and the computer connects fine at home to my airport. I think the router at my studio is a Linksys or something, but I really need to get my MacBook Pro to connect back to the router. Also, airport seems to be scanning continuously and fails to show the networks quickly. It seems very laggy.
Any suggestions?If you see line after line of "Airport Beacon (Lost)" messages, the problem is with 10.5.3 upgrade, if you installed 10.5.4 a few days later when it came out, you still have the problem.
That is simply not true. Beacons can be "lost" for a lot of reasons - and it has been happening to some people before 10.5.3 [Check the history!|http://discussions.apple.com/search.jspa?threadID=&q=airport+10.5.2&ob jID=&dateRange=thisyear&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001]. It might be the 10.5.3 upgrade in some situations. I am a bit suspicious of the interaction between some Netgear routers and OS X, but I have not tested that theory very thoroughly. -
Ipad disabled devices could not connect to saved wifi netwrok
I have deployed more than 1200 stundet Ipad wifi devices in school and i have Airwatch to manage these devices , I face a problem for disabled student ipads , once these devices disabled it wont be able to connect to saved wifi so i could not clear the passcode .

HELP!! Macbook wont stay connected automatically to wifi? why?
I live in apartments with tons of wifi signals. I have a secured wifi and no matter how many times i enter my password and everything my macbook wont stay connect automatically to my home wifi.
I have to use diagnostic assistance every time to connect to my wifi. It wont work. I have read some of these other forums but the suggestions don't work. Tried adding unsecured wifi signals to preferred and move to bottom and mine to top. no luck. I don't understand the DNS option so i didn't try it. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE, ANYONE
THANKS!When you live in an area with lots of wifi signals you are in a situation that may cause degradation to your own wifi network.
When the 54g channels were created it turned out only 3 of those channels can be used, 1, 6 or 11.
all the other channels bleed.
So you should use a wireless sniffer such as air radar
Then look for the 3 strongest signals that are close to you. Then change the channel your wifi is broadcasting on to channel number 1, 6 or 11.
Unfortunately you may find that no matter what channel you use you are going to be close to someone else on the same channel.
The solution is to upgrade your network to a wireless N network. Using the 5ghz high band channels you have many more channels to use.
regarding your network diagnostics dont list any other network other than your own in the preferred networks. Regarding DNS your router should automatically assign a dns server.
