Help - authorization key

dear all,
i created an authorization key and i assigned it to some status with transaction BS02.
Now i need to assign a group of people to this authorization key but i don' t know how to do it.

WorkCenter : Managment of Authorization Keys and user status

Hi friends,
This is regarding Solution Manager 7.0 Service Desk (Work Center).
Using authorization key in B_USERSTAT in SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS role, I configured two categories of users :
1 - First category (User1) can process the message and access to the standard Status profile (SLFC0001),
2 - The second category (User2) can process the message using status profile (SLFC0001) with some limitations : for example User2 mustn't access to the "Send to SAP" user status.
My configuration works correctly whit SAPGUI (CRM_DNO_MONITOR).
Unfortunately, it doesn't work when I attempt to process message using Work center : In Work Center the system ignore the authorization key. Therefore, the User2 can access to all user status including "Send to SAP".
HOW CAN I resolve this issue?????

In our company, some processors (User2) have not the authorization to send the messages to SAP. So they must not access to 'Sent to SAP' status.
To do this :
1 - I configured ZSLF001 like below :

Using WorkCenter, the User2 can access to 'Sent to SAP' status!!!!!!

It's not the correct approach, Try to purchase the official software and get the valid user authorization credentials from TOAD.

Authorization key for the user profile

In SAP, there is a provision where we can create the authorization key and assign this key to the various user statuses in the user status profile.
The application is that when the user status is changed from one to other and if to the user status, the authorisation key is assigned then the authorised person should be only able to change the status.
But my query is that i have not come across any customization where a SAP user can be assigned to the auth. key so that he can only change the user status.
Can anybody let me know that whatever i understood, is it correct? And if yes, let me know where to assign the user to the authorisation key?

User status with authorization key

Good day experts!
I have user status schema with users status. Each status have Z authorization key. I add authorization object B_USERSTAT in my SRM role. But SAVE rfx or choose user status in "user-specified status" not react on my auth key.
How can i limit user status for my role?

Hi,
In user status per status there is a auth. code field. So the user needs to be authorized to set or delete the status if a auth. code is maintained for the status.
The object is B_USERSTAT. Give your specifications to your basis person & it should be possible.

HELP some non working keys on keyboard HP G60-519WM laptop..might need help removing keys?

I have had this laptop for a couple years now and I haven't had any problems with the keyboard, keys or their connection with my laptop. I have never spilt anything on it or been aggressive with the keyboard either. Tha essential problem is that now my T,Y,P,K,M keys and the CTRL and PAGE keys (to the right of space bar) no longer work after cleaning my computer. There might be more but I haven't been able to tell what the Fn button and some function buttons fully do.
How it all began:
Two weeks ago I noticed that the fan on my computer kept running and the computer would get warmer quite easily and take longer to cool down. It also started lagging or loading things slower than it should.
So I went onto HP's site and found their information on cleaning fans and vents and the information I saw in it mentioned all the problems my computer had. So I decided to follow their directions on how to clean the fan, vents and keyboard. I noticed alot of dust and small hairs from my dogs and small lint balls..more debri then I thought would be in my laptop.Nothing huge or that I would see as damaging but it definitley needed a cleaning.
So I let the computer sit for a while and then I turned it on and that is when I noticed some of the keys no longer worked. I decided to see if the device was installed properly and the computer said it was working fine, so I figured it might be debri stuck under the keys.
I followed the directions on how to turn off the computer and I got a small tool and a light to look under the keys and remove what I could see.. I did that with all of the keys, not just the ones that stopped working. I was surprised I was able to get alot of stuff out from under the keys. BUT the same keys still didnt work.
So far at this point I have used the on screen keyboard and an external keyboad (what I am using to write this) and thos keys work fine. I have checked the BIOS and the same keys didn't work (on the bios black screen). I tried to check the device and for updates or any errors and I didn't see any problems. I attampted to uninstall my keyboard which initially said it was a 101/102 keyboard and then when i restarted to finalize the process..the device registered in its place was now called a standard keyboard and the computer didnt ask me to reinstall the one i uninstalled.initially. So I don't know if that was a successful way of doing that or not.
Sorry for my novel but I just want to make sure anyone who can help knows what I have been doing. My questions now are;
A. did I do the bios test right?
B. did i uninstall my keyboard right? if so then why would a different keyboard already be on as a device without me doing anything? if i didn't please help me on how to..
C. I feel like there is debri trapped under these kes, is there anyway to remove each key to clean and inspect? if so how, because I haven't been able to find out any useful information about that process on this computer/keyboard?
D. is there any thing else I could do besides removing the keyboard and replacing it?

you did not push the clips all the way in to secure the ribbon cable for the keyboard. the clips push a little further than you think if you do it right you can tug on the cable and can't pull it out.

List Help/Authorization

i am trying setup a Authorization scheme for my list menu so that only admin and team managers would be able to enter these pages from my list menu.
i have a ruff idea on how to do this and i have created one for admin which doesnt seem to work
I have setup the USER_IS_ADMIN method but it doesnt seem to work i get a error when viewing the page logged in as admin
Has anyone got a quick script i could borrow?!!! I need Admin and team managers only to be able to enter 2 of the pages in the menu.

When i create a Authorization scheme in Authorization Schemes do i need to add any other Conditions in the lists
Obviously in list i would have to edit the authorization tab to pick up my scheme, but should i add more conditions in the conditions area within lists?

HELP AUTHORIZATION ISSUE

So I've only ever connected my ipod to my macbook, never to another computer, and I never authorized my ipod with my computer or anything because I would download apps with wifi and i would be fine. I downloaded some music with my ipod the other day though and I authorized my computer and it said i have 2 authorizations with my account? I don't understand why I have two authorizations. Can anyone help explain this to me?

Hi Vamsi,
SU53 shows us the last failed authorization for a user. However, it might not only be the failed authorization object failed.
Hence, "just to learn" , you can use transaction ST01 to enable and run a trace for particular users. Be sure to use in a test environment first, and with proper filters. (for a particular user only).
Then check-> which auth object is failing.
RC=4 means a object value is failing.
RC=12 means an object is missing!
Check, which tcode is calling that object and this tcode is present in which role. Then.........proceed.
You can check the SAP documentation on running traces on the help portal of SAP. I think you will find the answer yourself by troubleshooting more and may be massaging some test roles here and there!
Likewise, if you are new to security, I would encourage you to start by reading some books on SAP security. Authorizations made easy is a good book to start with.

I Need help authorizing my computer. I am using an address that has never been used but it telling me that I have already used this address. I have not.

You don't need to be connected to the internet in order to authorize the computer ( it's not the songs you are authorizing). Just play a few seconds of one of them.

Need Help Pasting Key Frames from one still image to others, and Changing the duration of multiple still images.

I'm working on a stop motion project, and I have at least a thousand still images to work with.
I have adjusted several Key Frame settings on the 1st still image in my project, such as
Brightness
Cropping
Scale
Position
I now want to apply these exact settings to hundreds of still images at a time that make up one scene in the project (but not all still images in the entire project).. Is there a way to paste or easily transfer them?
Also, there are scenes I'm working on in which I want to change the image duration of hundreds of photos at once, but not change to duration of all images in the project, is this possible?
I've looked at several different web-links, but none of them have what I'm looking for. If you can please help me, I'd be willing to send you $10 through paypal. Knowledge is power; the solution to these problems would save me hours of time. If you don't fully understand my questions I can send you a pictures or a video, pointing out my needs.

When the project is created, I don't recall seeing the preference settings until after the project opens the first time. In that case if certain media was imported into the project panel but not in the sequence, after the duration was changed, it would be necessary to remove the media from the project panel then re-import again. If there is a workaround to this please let me know. It also doesn't appear that creating a new sequence would prevent the re-importing. Could you confirm?
Thanks for the link on automating to sequence--I remember that from CS4.
The application of identical effects to media on the timeline in a sequence was something I had learned back in CS3 or maybe earlier CS4 where the effected, in this case a transition between images was applied then copied then using the paste or (Control V) command, applied to all other stills. That worked fine but with lots of images, it ends up being a lot of "point and clicks" since the CTI must be moved to each transition insertion point before the paste is applied.
I actually thought that I had seen someone select the remainder of the images in the sequence then apply the paste command but I was never able to make that work. Have you heard of such a short-cut?

NONSENSE problem: can anyone help authorize iTunes 7.0.2 old account?

iTunes 7 is the right proof that perfect is enemy of good!
Used to live in Austria for 3 years where I purchased iTunes songs with an old Austrian account. Half a year ago moved to Sweden and changed my account, having cancelled the old one. Few days ago tried to listen my songs withe recently installed iTunes - bad surprise - I cannot do it now, because it asks for authorization for the songs which I legally purchased while in Austria! And I can't authorize half of my "Austrian" songs, because the old account and old email do not exist anymore.
What the heck is going on there in Apple!!!? Playing bad disappointing tricks on devoted users...
Can anyone help?

Forms Help 6i ( Key filters )

How to restrict users from pressing a key ( for example special characters in a text field of Character data type). I am running forms in a Client/Server architecture and not a Web based system.
I found that in web forms we can use the PJC (Pluggable java components) / Java beans to get this done. Tell me in relation to forms 6i running in a Client / Server Mode.

Help with Keys in Map

Hi All,
I have a Map and I want to add entries - Key and Value. Now the Key is an Object (Some Object Key which has some instance variables). When I try to add the Key and Value only one entry gets stored. I know I am doing something Wrong.
