HELP!- BBM has completely messed up 11/12/12 HELP PLEASE
Right this morning i woke up with a notification telling me to upldate as normal so i did. When the phone rebooted it was not anywhere to be seen, so i deleted the app and reinstalled, I did this a number of times but it never showed up and when it did it kept saying files missing so i could never even start it up! I've tried downloading it from the website rather than the store but same problem occurs.
PLEASE CAN SOME ONE HELP ME!!

I don't understand when you say "it never showed up and when it did it kept..."
what did you do differently so that some times, the BBm icon disappeared, and some other times the BBm icon was available and clickable ?
What Bold you do have ? With which OS version?
What is the exact error message that appears when you say "files missing" ?
in the Application management, what is the version number of BBm ?

Syncing has completely messed up my music from itunes to my phone. How do I fix this??
Everything is in order on my iTunes but over the past few syncs is has messed up everything on my music app on my iPhone 3GS. My album artwork is completely jumbled around and I can no longer find every album under the artist. Sometimes I have to find it under albums instead or sometimes it just doesn't seem to be there. Installed 4, but it will not work or display opening page. Reinstalled 3-6-13,but the bookmarks toolbar has gone, replaced by sidebar, but it will not accept new bookmarks and will not sync with my other computers bookmarks. I am not an expert deeply regret installing 4, have spent six hours trying to sort it out. Even system restore will not recover the original bookmarks.
There are two folders: in the original account main /Users folder there is an icon of a house and a shared folder.
In the new admin account, there is the same thing.
I do not have a backup, but I can eaisly backup all of my important data by just dragging the user folder onto an external harddrive.
Yes, I did log out of the old account & into a new admin one.
Other facts: I cannot create folders in the original (old) account. For both accounts, I cannot access any programs, except for safari and ones that I come with the computer. For example, I cannot open Chrome or Word. Safari sometimes pops open a window that says I have the wrong keychain. This does not happen all the time, so I do not know exactly what the message said, something about keychains.
Also, when I click on the house in the User folder, I find that my old user folder is inside of it (that's where I can access all of my old documents). The old user folder has the old username that I tried changing (which started this whole mess)

Okay, i have an iPhone 5 that is up to date with iOS 7.0.4 and i have had some major problems with my messages. First of all, it will not let me delete any of my messages. If i try to delete them and then kill the app later in the day, the messages will all come back. I have messages from half a year ago that i can't get rid of. Second, it takes me 5-10 minutes to recieve a message from anybody. Third, it will not send ANY messages. At first it was just iMessage that wasn't working. I got really annoyed of it not working so i just turned it off. Sending as a text message worked fine for a while, but now i can't send any messages of any kind. Now here is the really weird part...I have this group message with 3 of my friends in it, and it is the only thing that works fine in my messaging. I can send and recieve iMessage and text messages fine in that group message, but not in any other message. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with all (or any) of these problems. Thank you!

The phone just went blank on me while the download anf update was running, I can now only see the iTunes emblem and a cable plug in on the screen as if the download is still running

I have done the restoration from both the device and computer as a new device but it doesn't help. Even I have restored my device to the factory settings with standard apps in it without installing any other additional apps, the phone heats up & I have to recharge at least 3 times per day. Need immediate help! QuickTime completely messed since system recovery!
Our computer crashed due to a virus not too long ago. When we recovered the OS, QuickTime reverted to version 6, but 7 remained on the HD. I uninstalled 6, but 7 still doesn't work.
Specifics:
iTunes keeps encountering an error and needs to close whenever I open it.
Every application using QT closes with an error and displays "Some of your QuickTime software is out-of-date," and clicking "Do It Now" causes another error.
I cannot uninstall QuickTime. Everytime I try, the procedure rolls back and I get the message "Fatal error during installation."

Edit: I uninstalled iTunes.That's not the solution; it's just a test, which shows that bad data in your home folder is interfering with Safari.
Quit Safari and move the following items to the Trash:
Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari
Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari
Try again. If Safari still doesn’t work, quit it again and move the following file to the Desktop:
Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist
Then move the following items to the Trash (some may not exist):
Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.LSSharedFileList.plist
Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.RSS.plist
Library/Safari
Try again. This time Safari should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. Select File > Import Bookmarks from the Safari menu bar. Import from the bookmarks file you moved to the Desktop. Recreate the rest of your Safari settings. You can then delete the old bookmarks file. -
OS X upgrade to Lion & iCloud has completely messed up my desktop and macbook?
Recently upgraded to OS X 10.7.2 on both my desktop Mac and my Macbook in order to activate iCloud. MobileMe is somehow screwing things up! All of my contacts in my address book reverted back to an older version losing my new cleaned up contact list and duplicating every single contact entry as well as every single event in my iCal calendar! Outgoing mail won't work properly either stating that my email server is not recognizing my user name and password. Also have tons of POSTMASTER undeliverable mail emails in my inbox that are to people/addresses I don't know? Why is my computer generating emails? Have I got a virus that was installed with the upgrade? I'm so ****** and irritated. Should've all gone seamlessly as I did everything status quo. Can anyone out there help me or relate?????

When I changed my default back to IE, the icons changed back, but everything still opens in Firefox... How can I get the shortcuts to open in IE? I've tried deleting the original shortcuts and creating new ones, but they still open in Firefox...

I'm not 100% sure I understand your problem. From what you've said, I think you're saying you've changed your default browser to Firefox, and the desktop icons all changed from the internet explorer icon (the blue e) to the firefox icon. You've changed the default browser back to IE, but the icons haven't changed back, and when you click on them they open in Firefox.
If that's the case, the problem is with your default browser setup. From what you've said, you've already set it in the browser similiar to [[How to make web links open in Firefox by default|the support article]]; for some reason Windows hasn't changed the default browser.
You could try (in Win 7) opening the control panel, then Programs ->Set Default Programs, and click on Internet Explorer in there, then "Set this Program as Default".

I am confused by the layout of the I tunes Store...Ive had no problems or troubel for YEARS with the I Tunes store, but recently the entire graphics on the i tunes store pages are a complete mess, not downloading, creating odd layover and jumbled data and making it virtually impossible to access or read. I am looking for information or guidance on how to re-boot or fix this - Help?!

My iphone 3 has completely frozen. Facebook and other apps were not loading properly so I deleted facebook and went to the apps store and reloaded. It was still loading and then my phone just froze - I turned it off and then tried to turn it back on and all I am getting is the apple logo in the middle of the phone and rather stupidly I have never synched it!! I know what an idiot!!! I have tried calling vodafone but not surprise they are closed for technical help at this time of night.

I had itunes on another laptop which is no longer in use. I have changed my apple id to my email address which has completed fine. I cannot find the itunes I had on my account before that I had on my other laptop. Can you help?
Your music will only be where you put it. It does not magically appear in other places. Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some coutries:

You have a hardware problem. It is probably the hard drive is either to full, not enough free space, or it is starting to fail.
If you have an external drive connec that to the system and use the Recovery HD, Command + r keys at startup, to install a clean fresh copy of OS X Lion on the external then run the system from that. It will be slower but if you don't get the beachball then that is the sign your internal drive is on its way out or is filled up with files and not enough free space.
