Help! bent case :(

my mb pro accidentally fell off my desk..the back lefthand corner bent and now where the back of the screen panel meets the plastic is separating and when i close it, the left side of the screen hangs over the base on the left....its off center. my isight camera stopped working, i'm unsure if its related but i already tried repairing my permissions to no avail. i cant live without my computer for a very long time because of my job and school....and i'm scared it will cost way too much to fix it. it literally just breaks my heart that its broken and it bothers me far too much to leave alone. any suggestions? options? :\

Your only option is to get it fixed. But with as many parts as you say are damaged, the cost of labor and parts would probably warrant you just buying a new computer.

There are several ways of doing this.
1. Use OVS
2. Create a Search help in R3. Call the function module.
3. Create a Jar file which would provide the result .

I am applying rules on col3 and col4 for each records row-wise.
I need case statements to populate status and reason columns after applying below rules
Rules
Col3 :
For A record ,it should be 12345 always .
For B,C,D,E , record should be always 1
col4
For A record , it should be either P or R
No null values for all A, B,C,D,E records
for B record , it dont contain special charecters
for C RECORD , it dont contain special charecters
for D record ,it should not contain future dates (dates are in yyyymmdd format and less than sysdates are valid )
I have other columns as well ,as i not included here
.It would be great if you Could help on case statements

I have 2 tables like below. now i have a requirement which i need to do it in CASE OR DECODE. because i have to implement this logic IN SELECT STATEMENT for a column.
In table T1 if Lang = 1 and State = 'P' then display Lang = 'english' in table T2(which is Lang=2 in table T1) Or else display null.
Can we do this logic using CASE or DECODE? pls help

i m trying to apply COUNT to a column , with a particular condition.
like.

but its not working.
can anyone tell me how to count only particular rows which satisfy the given condition in WHEN Clause.
i m trying to add many columns from different tables by joining them and then adding column one by one satisfying different conditions.

I am not quite sure I understood your "requirement"...no tables, no sample data, no expected output...
can anyone tell me how to count only particular rows which satisfy the given condition in WHEN ClauseAssuming your requirement is above i.e. getting count of resultset based on different conditions, following might help you.

Search help is case sensitive

I have created one z-'elementary search help' with selection method as a z-view.
View consist of following tables:
COMM_PRODUCT
COMM_PRSHTEXT
COMM_PRPRDCATR
COMM_CATEGORYT.
I have attached this elementary help search to 'COM_PR_COLLECTION' collective search help which we used for searching products.
The search help we have created shows the result which is 'case sensitive'.
If I search for 'Product Description' = 'button' I get
the output with all products with only small letter 'button' which is not required.
I must get the all product with description 'button' and 'Button'.
I haven't attached any of 'Search help exit' for elementary search help.
Please help.

Help with case issues in Java 1.3

Using JDK 1.3 and Windows 98... here is my problem. If I create a class called EventSite.java and another class called eventsite.java (same name, different cases) and then compile them both...I only see the the first class compiled in the directory (they are both being compiled into the same directory).
i.e. I run 'javac EventSite.java' and when I look in the c:\jdk1_3\bin\ directory I see EventSite.class.
I then run 'javac eventsite.java' and when I look in the same directory I only see EventSite.class. Why???????
Where did eventsite.class go?
Note: both .java files compile without error.
Help please.

The problem is that Java is case sensitive but Windows is not. So the files get replaced. You have to avoid using this kind of naming under Windows. Besides it doesn't make much sense.

What exactly are your expecting the below given segment to display? Two different columns? (That's not the way to get it done)

Need Help:Regarding Case when we should receive an email if we haven't receive feed within SLA.

Hello Cisco Team/Everyone,
We are facing one major hurdle we need to configure a case when a email should be sent to business if the feed is not received within SLA.
At present what we can configure is if feed is being received within SLA then an email will be sent informing about the timely delievery of feed and if we receive feed after SLA then also an email will be sent to business informing that feed received late but if we haven't received the feed within SLA then please let us know how to configure Email Action ? ( informing that we haven't received the feed within SLA )

You have muliple solutions so we probably need more details
At a mininum you would want 2 different email events with different triggers and 2 different email actions
You may or may not have 2 different jobs
How we decided to handle:
We decided to create and ALERT Job Group for our SLA notifications/alerts
   (you can make it its own parent or integreate with another Job Group depeending on what makes sense to you)
We organized the next level by time windows in military time
Alert\
\0000_0259 <-- alerts that trigger between midnight and 3am (they line up top to bottom that way and visually progress)
If this is a file based alert you create a dependecy on the file not existing
Next put a Time Window on it lets say start at 12:15am and end at 1:00 am
Here's the counter intuitive part:
You create an event to send an email to business on job completed normally that the SLA was breached
          if the file didn't exist by 1am then this executes and completes normally
          We use powershell to write-output of text we want to send for that particular business unit
          We use in email action
You create an event to skip the job if job not ready by the end of its time window
          if the file existed then the depdendcy is not statisfied and job essentailly is not ready by end of time window 1am
          Operations teams consider "skipped" a "OK" status since we do it on purpose
Other options
You could also use exit codes to do similar things, if your process that is evaluating the SLA is produce different exit codes, Then you can apply different events to the exit codes

If you put each item that you are comparing into a list, it
magically
makes it case sensitive. Just put list brackets around each
item.

The = operator is not case-sensitive when used on strings,
but the < and > operators are case-sensitive.
So another way to do this is to check if the string is

else if vExpected > vInput then

The first solution does in fact work and is probably the most
efficient way
of doing it. You can verify that it works by starting with a
new director
movie and adding a field named "t:texto1" into the cast with
the text
"Residencial Serra Verde" in the field. Next type the
following command in
the message window and press Enter
put [field "t:texto1"] = ["Residencial Serra Verde"]
You will see it return 1 which means True. Next, make the R
in the field
lower case and execute the command in the message window, it
will return 0
(true).
Now that you know this works, you need to dig deeper in your
code to find
what the problem is. Any more info you can supply?

Help with case suggestion

I need the searching power of the Apple Community, for my efforts have produced few results!
I was a blackberry user (the 8310 Curve) and I really liked the case I had. Leather case, magnetic strap, swivel clip and I was able to pull the phone out whenever I needed to.
I am trying to find something similar if not exactly like this for the iphone. Slim is nice, but I really want that swivel clip so that I can angle the case and pull out the phone whenever i need too. (I see some cases have a strap overtop)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It depends on your budget. I plumped for one of these http://www.vajacases.com/ as i've had them in the past and the quality is top notch. However, I couldn't decide between two different ones so I also went with one of these as well and i'll chop & change as & when I feel like a change. I also like the blackberry cases, however, i've found that the belt clip doesn't last all that long. One has broken on me and the second one is on it's way out now. The first option from vaja sounds more like what you are looking for though. Hope this helps.
