(HELP) Blank advanced settings page

Hi.
What happend is that i wan't to port forward an aplication so i went to 192.168..... And the application wasn't there so i went to advanced settings and continue to advance settings it just came up with this

WRT54G blank router settings page, then the whole network goes down

Alright, heres the setup:
(1) DSL Modem
(1) WRT54G Router
(1) Desktop WinXP Pro SP2 machine, hardwired to router
(2) WinXP Pro SP2 laptops, wireless - one with built-in wireless, one with a Linksys WPC11 Instant Wireless Network Adapter, version 3.
(1) WinXP Media Center SP2 laptop, wireless
(1) Ubuntu Personal Edition - "Feisty Fawn" 7.04 laptop, wireless
The router has been set up to use WPA-TKIP encryption on channel 6 with an always-on PPPoE connection; it also has an IP of http://192.168.2.1 to avoid an IP conflict with the DSL Modem. DHCP Server is enabled with default settings, MAC Address Clone is disabled, and Operating Mode is set to Gateway. Access is set to allow both B and G, as one of the WinXP Pro laptops is an older model Toshiba that only recognizes the B protocol (that's the one with the WPC11 card).
Here's the problem:
Initially, the setup works flawlessly. All computers are able to see the SSID, connect to the network, and connect to the internet. The connection is fine, doesn't slow down, and is overall pretty healthy. All computers are able to access http://192.168.2.1, and are prompted with the username/password prompt, can change settings, port forwarding, etc.
Now, wait a few days. Usually about a week.
First, the Ubuntu laptop starts to get spotty with it's connection to the internet. After about 10 minutes, the connection to the network starts to fail. Sometimes it will see the SSID, sometimes it won't - and it's not a matter of moving the laptop. It stays pretty much on the same desk and acts as a desktop 98% of the time. If you try to access http://192.168.2.1 nothing happens. No username/password prompt, no "access denied" message. Rebooting the machine doesn't improve the situation. Manually entering in the SSID and password don't work, either.
At this point, all of the other computers are still able to access the internet. However, trying to access http://192.168.2.1 with *any* of the other machines fails. Even if I try to access it with the wired desktop machine, there is no prompt, no error messages, just a blank white page with a "done" status in both Firefox and IE.
After about a day or two of this, all other machines except for the wired desktop computer will cease to see the SSID and all connections to the network fail. No network access, no internet access. The only machine still connected to the network and the internet is the wired desktop machine.
What I've tried:
At this point, I usually power cycle the Linksys router - and viola, back to normal.
As far as settings-side, I've tried changing just about every setting I can that wont break the system; I've tried changing channels, changing the encryption, changing the IP of the router... and nothing seems to fix the problem.
I've also looked at just about every forum, posting, help-reference, and how-to, and I can't seem to find a solution to the problem, or even what's really happening to cause it.
Normally, I wouldn't take issue with having to restart the router. It's not a big issue for me, personally. But I set up this network for someone else, and at the end of this month I am moving, so I would like to fix and resolve the issue so that they don't have to restart the router every week. They are not very tech-savvy people and I don't want to make things more complicated than they have to be. At the least it's a minor inconvenience, and at the most it's a disaster and a call every week from them asking how to fix it.

I have this exact same issue. I'm using the WRT54G v8 with Firmware Version: v8.00.2 (latest version)
The log feature of mine was turned on, so I've turned it off.
As for the P2P, 2 of the 5 computers connected to my network are using it. Are there any suggestions to resolve/help the P2P problem?
I've also noticed that when the 'no setup page' problem happens, if I do an LAN port scan of the router, port 80 is no longer open. Very wierd.
After chatting with the Linksys Tech support, they say to take it back to the store (although I'll try these options first)

I'm having this same problem as well and cannot advance--very irritating. All of the information is filled out correctly and I've editted my AppleID information online separately as well to get around this issue, but no luck...

HT4623 I cannot turn off the passcode which I do not want on my ipad. I keep getting the message "ipad is disabled" I have tried to enter the passcode that I entered when I updated to iOs7 and cannt get to the settings page. Can someone help me?

to do that you need to unlock your ipad

Adobe flashplayer settings page is blank

Hi guys, I have a Samsung android tablet and I used to use adobe flashplayer till a recent upgrade few days ago. After the upgrade I have found that I cannot access pages on preview versions books on Google books. Briefly browsed the net I found that I need Flash for this function.
I manually downloaded flash player 11.1 from the archives for flash player Web page. Even though flash player is now installed, each time I try to access it, i am directed to an online page - https:// settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile. This page always turns out blank.
I would be grateful if somebody could direct me as to how to access the settings page

Please read this whole message before doing anything. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it. The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Settings page blank

My iPad is not charging and there is a grey arrow near the battery charge % symbol.

How are you trying to charge the iPad, with its own charger or via a computer's USB port ? Its own charger is usually the best way to charge it, a lot of computers don't provide enough power to their ports to charge the iPad at a sufficient rate.
In terms of Settings, try closing it via the taskbar and see if it works properly when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Settings 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work they try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If the arrow is pointing towards the top right it means that an app is using, or has recently used, location services

WRT310N: Help with DMZ/settings (firmware 1.0.09) for wired connection

Hello. I have a WRT310N and have been having a somewhat difficult time with my xbox 360's connection. I have forwarded all the necessary ports (53, 80, 88, 3074) for it to run, and tried changing MTU and what-not.
I don't know if I have DMZ setup incorrectly, or if it's my settings.
Setup as follows:
PCX2200 modem connected via ethernet to WRT310N.
The WRT310N has into ethernet port 1 a WAP54G, and then upstairs (so that my Mother's computer can get a strong signal) I have another WAP54G that I believe receives its signal from the downstairs 54G.
In the back of the WRT310N, I have my computer connected via ethernet port 3, and my Xbox 360 connected via ethernet port 4.
Now, I first figured I just have so many connections tied to the router and that is the reason for being so slow. However, when I unplug all the other ethernet cords and nothing is connected wirelessly, except for my Xbox connected to ethernet port 4, it is still poor. Also, with everything connected (WAP54G and other devices wirelessly) I get on my PC and run a speedtest. For the sake of advice, my speedtests I am running on my PC are (after 5 tests) averagely 8.5 Mbps download, and 1.00 Mbps upload, with a ping of 82ms.

Let me add a little more detail of my (192.168.1.1) settings for WRT310N.
For starters, my Father's IT guy at his workplace set up this WRT310N and WAP54G's. So some of these settings may be his doing. I just don't know which.
"Setup" as Auto-configurations DHCP. I've added my Xbox's IP address to the DHCP reservation the IP of 192.168.1.104. This has (from what I've noticed) stayed the same for days.
MTU: Auto, which stays at 1500 when I check under status.
Advanced Routing: NAT routing enabled, Dynamic Routing disabled.
Security: Disabled SPI firewall, UNchecked these: Filter Anonymous Internet Requests, Multicast, and Internet NAT redirection.
VPN passthrough: All 3 options are enabled (IPSec, PPTP, L2TP)
Access Restrictions: None.
Applications and Gaming: Single port forwarding has no entries. Port Range Forwarding I have the ports 53 UDP/TCP, 88 UDP, 3074 UDP/TCP, and 80 TCP forwarded to IP 192.168.1.104 enabled. (192.168.1.104 is the IP for my xbox connected via ethernet wired that is in DHCP reserved list)
Port Range Triggering: It does not allow me to change anything in this page.
DMZ: I have it Enabled. This is where I am a bit confused. It says "Source IP Address" and it has me select either "Any IP address" or to put entries to the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX to XXX fields. I have selected use any IP address. Then the source IP area, it says "Destination:" I can do either "IP address: 192.168.1.XXX" or "MAC address:" Also, under MAC Address, it says DHCP Client Table and I went there and saw my Xbox under the DHCP client list (It shows up only when the Xbox is on) and selected it.
Under QoS: WMM Enabled, No acknowledgement disabled.
Internet Access Priority: Enabled. Upstream Bandwith I set it to Manual and put 6000 Kbps. I had it set on Auto before, but I changed it. I have no idea what to put there so I just put a higher number.
Then I added for Internet Access Priority a Medium Priority for Ethernet Port 4 (the port my xbox is plugged into).
Administration: Management: Web utility access: I have checked HTTP, unchecked HTTPS.
Web utility access via Wireless: Enabled. Remote Access: Disabled.
UPnp: Enabled.
Allow Users to Configure: Enabled.
Allow users to Disable Internet Access: Enabled.
Under Diagnostics, when I try and Ping test 192.168.1.104 (xbox when on and connected to LIVE), I get:
PING 192.168.1.104 (192.168.1.104): 24 data bytes
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
--- 192.168.1.104 data statistics ---
5 Packets transmitted, 0 Packets received, 100% Packet loss
Also, when I do Traceroute Test for my Xbox's IP, I just keep getting:
traceroute to 192.168.1.104 (192.168.1.104), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
1 * * * 192.168.1.1 Request timed out.
2 * * * 192.168.1.1 Request timed out.
As for the Wireless Settings, it is all on the default settings with Wi-Fi Protected setup Enabled.
To add, I have tried connecting my modem directly to the Xbox and my connection is much improved. I have no difficulty getting the NAT open, for it seems my settings are working for that. Any help with these settings would be VERY much appreciated.

I own 2 of these routers (one is a spare) with the latest firmware and I have been having trouble with them for over a year. In my case the connection speed goes to a crawl and the only way to get it back is to disable the SPI firewall. Rebooting helps for a few minutes, but the problem returns. All of the other fixes recommended on these forums did not help. I found out the hard way that disabling the SPI Firewall also closes all open ports ignoring your port forwarding settings. If you have SPI Firewall disabled, you will never be able to ping your IP from an external address. Turn your SPI Firewall back on and test your Ping.

I need help with a 1 Page Form with scrollable text field (5000 limit characters) and printing

Hello, I have no training in using Adobe Acrobat Pro or Livecycle Designer so I need major help with a 1 page form that I am attempting to create. Basically the form will be used to nominate employees for a Job Well Done Award.
The form contains the following:
1.) The name(s) of the employees being nominated and the date of the accomplishment.
2.) In the middle of the page I have a section for a write up, limited to 5000 characters, this is were I am needing the most help. A couple of things, about this section: The font is set at 11 and I don't want it to change. The text field has multiple-line, scroll long text enabled. The text field is a certain size and can only hold so much text, then it starts to scroll, which I am ok with, I like that feature. The issue I am having is during printing. I would like to keep the text field scrollable but when I print I would like to be able to print everything in that field. Executing this is the problem, I have no clue how to do it. I was hoping for some setting within Acrobat Pro or LiveCycle to be available, but the more I read and research this, it appears that it may require java, xml, basically some coding. I don't know for sure.
3.) Below the text field I have another field for the person nominating to type their name and right next to that another field for a digital signature.
4.) And finally below those two fields I have a Submit button that is setup to start email application so the form can be emailed to the proper inbox.

With an Acrobat form the only thing you can do is export the text to
another location (like a blank field on another page) or to another file
format. With an LCD form you can expand the text box itself, but you'll
need to ask about that over at the LCD Scripting forum.

Problem with Advanced settings

Hello!
My Cisco Connect software suddenly stopped working.
The router works correctly, however, I can see the router settings but can not change them.
Specifically: when I call Router-settings/Advanced settings, it will open in the browser,
mostly the Basic Setup page (which takes time!) but then nothing more, the page is like frozen.
A reset of the router, several reboots, I've done everything.
What should I do?

What's the model number of your router? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Cisco Connect Software? You may try the updated version of Cisco Connect Software. If you want to access the router's user interface, you can do it by opening a browser and typed 192.168.1.1 in the address bar.

"Advanced Settings" missing! (Verizon Wireless)

The "Advanced Settings" option in BIS is missing... I'm not sure if this is an issue with just Verizon or what? It's missing in the regular desktop browser version and the mobile version. Verizon didn't know what was going on and referred me to BlackBerry.
Side Note: I have the $29.99 "Email and Web for BlackBerry."

Can not access the advanced settings via IP address WRT310N

Hello all,
I'm having trouble accessing my routers advance settings. The Easy Link Advisor works but as soon as I attempt to enter the router via the advanced setting explorer pops up with a "can not connect" and internet trouble shooting suggestions.
I'm trying http://192.168.0.1 which is where the advisor attempts to connect and 192.168.1.1 which was my default for my wrt54g.
Nothing seems to work - I have tries a hard reset of the router as well.
Any tips, suggestions?

I am also having this problum "with a few extras"
In the easylink adviser i click on the WRT310N and choose advanced settings it opens up a a brouser window going to 192.168.1.1 and then takes me to a blank page.
i checked ipconfig and
IP Address ...............:192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask ............:255.255.255.0
Default Gateway........:192.168.1.1
the other 2 issues i get are clicking on change router password i get the error message
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"
also when i click on wireless protection i get the same error message
"Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

Could not see the Current User POV settings page in web preview

Hi All, When i try to view a report in the web preview with Preview user POV checkbox selected and HTML view selected, i am getting the error 'An Error Occurred 1001'. I cannot see the current user POV settings page.But when i click the PDF view selected with preview user POV checkbox selected, i can see the output of the report in the pdf format but i still get the same error as above on the top of the page.I feel this is related to User POV settings. I tried deleting the user POV in the Administration-->Maintain Repository section but it's still not working.Can anyone help me please.Thank You very much in advance.

WRT160Nv3 Advanced Settings

Can someone help pls. When I type 192.168.1.1 in my web browser I get a google search for it and when I type http://192.168.1.1 I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message. Also, when I click on Advanced Settings in the dropdown menu on the Easylink Advisor I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message. I upgraded the firmware to 3.0.03 build 003, and the router is working perfectly. I want to open a port so my son can set up a Ventrillo Server on his PC. I'm at a loss for what to do. Also, If you would dumb-down your explanation, it would help. I'm not that computer savvy

On your computer which is Hardwired to the router, click on Start - RUN - type "CMD" and click OK... Now in the command prompt window type "ipconfig" and hit enter and note down the Default Gateway IP address, using the default gateway ip you can try to login to the setup page of your Router.
The default password for the Router is "admin" without the Username.

Facebook loads with blank home & profile pages

Facebook loads with blank home & profile pages on Firefox 3.6.12, but loads correctly on IE8, I've cleared cookies & cache, so what do I try now to fix this ??? I've filed a report with Facebook, but no reply from them as yet and found nothing helpful on their website or Firefox's.

If it happens again the clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
