Help broke when I installed new JDeveloper release - HELP!

I just upgraded from JDeveloper 9.0.2.7.98 to 9.0.2.8.26. I installed all the objects from the ZIP file over top of the old directory tree because I don't want to loose the projects I have already under development. How do I fix it? (1) Go to Tools -> Preferences -> Documentation and make sure "local" help is installed. If you downloaded the jdev9i_base install, you'll need to download the full version.
(2) TO keep your projects, just copy the contents of your "mywork" directory from one version of JDeveloper to the new install. Unzipping on top of an existing JDeveloper isn't something we certify to work (nor try ourselves), so your results may vary as to how well that method works.

With all you media (apps, music) in the iTunes library connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup. Do that by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up. Then restore the iPod from that backup.
Note the the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music.

Sos about install "Oracle9i JDeveloper Release Candidate for Windows NT2000"

I have unzip the jdev9irc.zip in a directory
named "d:\jdevelop9i".
After I made a project with a applet and deploy it into "OC4J",
I check using "http://192.168.16.201:8888//mytest-applet2-

It failed to load my class.
Do I had to setup the "PATH" and "CLASSPATH" of the jdk after
unzip the file "jdev9irc.zip"?

How to CORRECTLY INSTALL Oracle JDeveloper 9i
and get OC4J UP and RUNNING :
1. Download the ZIP file
2. Unzip in the target directory
3. Make a shortcut to jdevw.exe
4. Tools | Preferences | Web Browser : enter full pathname to
your broser
5. DON'T READ ANY "README.XXX" OR HELP !!
6. Make a workspace, an empty project and put in it a
Web Object | JSP : a simple JSP file.
7. Build
8. Run , , , , , and then :
8.1. Oracle JDeveloper 9i automatically and correctly
installs the OC4J server.
8.2. Your web browser displays your JSP
9. Sleep well all night long.

What address book or cloud service were you syncing your contacts with before the update? They should still be there.
Contact information is only part of the backup in order to maintain your favorites and recent calls list. Contacts are meant to be synced to a cloud service or address book.

I normally dont need a login when I install new program, but I try to Install a new flash player im asked to write a login and I have no clue? when I search for help it suggest to put in the original installation cd but that doesnt work. Please help!

I have no clue what my login is. (It happened very rarely that I was asked to fill in this when installing a new program, and the login I have used before are not valid now.
When I search for help, I am suggested to put in the original installation Cd.. and press the "C" button when I hear the starting sound... but when I do this nothing is happening.

You need the admin password you created when you first set up the machine. Just about every installer running under OS X will require you to authorize the installation by entering an administrator password - even software update requires this. You really should not forget your admin password, as it is required for many things in OS X since, unlike Windows, you often need to manually type in the admin password to proceed with an install or update (whereas Windows will take admin authority, if you are logged in as an admin, by simply clicking continue or yes).
If you cannot remember your admin password, you can reset it from the recovery CD that came with your mac - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274

Lost playlists when I installed newer version of itunes.

My employer recently purchased a new computer for me and transfered all of my files to a new Macbook. (Also, I have my itunes set up to run from an external hard drive.) Anyway when I tried to open itunes, I got a message saying that Itunes couldn't read...something because a newer version was installed etc. Well, I read on the forums how to fix that, and I can now see all of my music in the itunes library but my playlists are gone. I saw a post relating to this and followed the steps of downloading the newest version of itunes, etc. but I still have no playlists. I desperately need to retrieve these somehow...please help.

Hello,?I have had the creative soundblaster audigy 4 for some time now. So i decided to buy the x-fi xtreme music. I replaced my old audigy 4 with the x-fi. and when i turned my pc on, the on/off switch on my monitor was flashing and the screen was countinuously black.i also went into the bios and disabled 'ac97 audio' but no change. this is my motherboard:Foxcon NF4KMC

i put my audigy 4 drivers cd in and then i chose the option uninstall drivers. and still same problem.
I have an audigy 4 and also a creative zen:M 30gb mp3 player so in add and remove programs i dont know the difference, here is what i have:
creative removable disk manager
creative system information
creative zen vision : M
and in device manager i have:
-Sound, video and game controllers
audio codecs
legacy audio drivers
legacy video capture devices
media control devices
nvidia nforce audio codec interface
video codecs

Doesn't install Apple mobile device when I install new version

I Don't know what to do i've tried at least 20 times uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and when it gets to the apple mobile device it does a rolling back action. and it wont install. Has anyone else have this problem?

Not my favorite error to try to troubleshoot.
Just to get it off the table (it's rare but known), we'd better first try an sfc /scannow to check to see if there's any damage to the usb componentry in your operating system. There's instructions in the following document:
