Help! Calendar for 8130

I am trying to view an appointment on my calendar that is recurring to edit it, but when I click on it a pop up comes up that says "Appointment deleted externally.  changes will be lost and the viewer closed".  Then you hit OK.
Does anyone know what this means????  I never removed the appointment to begin with, that I know of, but what is this message?  The appointment still shows as active on my calendar and when you try to delete the "series" it doesn't go away.  I tried that to take it away and re-input it in, but that didn't work.
Can somebody please help me with any idea.
Thank you!
Daisymay

Good Morning Gerko,
The appointment I believe was made in my blackberry from my phone contacts - "birthday" input.
The odd think about it is that I have my calendar set up through my yahoo account and there are 2 listed in my calendar "options".  When I change the color for the appointment input, the one that won't "delete" is on one of them and the rest of my 94 appointments are on the other yahoo.  It is like I somehow got 2 of the same calendars, but one is my "default".  Is there a way to delete one of the calendars?
I don't sync my bb to any programs, that I know of.  I have only had it a few months, so I am still learning about it.
I have a PC, but I never have hooked it up to my computer.
Thanks for your advice.

  • Help me to search on calendar for more than one year

I desparately need to be able to search on calendar for more than one year., which was taken away on the new operating system.  I have kept personal memories of my husband on there in the notes sections on days when we did things. ( I have also kept all kinds of personal notes, like doctor records or conversations, in the notes of events/dates.) it is a huge loss for me not to be able to search my calendar for more than one year. Is there any way I can do this?

  • I have 3 i phones.  Can I have multiple accounts on one computer where it keeps the contacta and calendar for each?

I have 3 i phones.  Can I have multiple accounts on one computer where it keeps the contacta and calendar for each?

My daughter and I both have iphones. I created an account (not separate itunes) for her on my computer so she could sync her phone/itunes but not have it interfere with mine since we have WAY different taste in music. Creating a different computer profile should work if you have separate itunes accounts, too.
If you all use the same itunes account, you can turn on Home Sharing. That way you can all download the same content without having to pay for it again. Not sure how or if that works with separate itunes accounts.
    Hope that helps!

  • Is there a way to create a calendar for keynote that automatically updates to current month?

I use keynote presentations for teaching foreign languages and wanted a calendar that updates automatically to current month everytime I present it rather than making it manually each month.  I'm wondering if it can be done using the keynote date/time functions?  Thank you.

Creating a whole interactive calendar for a month in a table could be done I suppose, but it's an awful lot of work for something that might be solved more easily in other ways.
IF you have a constant internet connection when you're teaching, create a Hyperlink on a blank Keynote slide to a web calendar, such as Google Calendar (or perhaps a school district calendar?) and enable it in the slide with Inspector, Hyperlink (blue circle with arrow icon 2nd from the right).
If you don't have web access on your teaching computer while you're teaching, I'd still probably capture a screenshot of the each monthly calendar and use that, updating to the current slide once a month. If you're usually too busy to remember to capture a new calendar on the first of the month, create a whole year of screen captured calendars at one time, add them to separate Keynote slides, and then just 'Skip Slide' all the months you aren't using. Not cool and interactive, but it would solve the problem. You might want to rename the screen captures to the month name before adding them as slides for ease of locating them later.
Since you're teaching foreign languages, in my sample below, I changed my default Google Calendar language to German. (Unfortunately, I left US Holidays enabled, so they aren't 'auf Deutsch', but you get the idea.) Understand that when you switch language in Google Calendar (or other Google app), it will switch ALL of your Google screens to that language, so be sure you remember which 'buttons' to push to change it back to English later!
Bring up your calendar onscreen in your browser and use Command+Shift+3 to capture the whole screen or Command+Shift+4 to capture just a portion of the screen. Once saved, insert the saved calendar into a Keynote slide.
Now, if that's more than you need, if you just want to display the date information in English as current weekday name, monthname, date number, and year, that's pretty simple.
Use the now() or today() function, you can create a simple table and add the following functions in separate cells, beginning each cell entry with the = sign (so the table 'knows' it's a function, and not just text:
    =DAYNAME(NOW())
    =MONTHNAME(MONTH(NOW()))
    =DAY(NOW())
    =YEAR(NOW())
And it displays like this on a slide:
    Hope that helps!

  • Set a Default Calendar for New Appointments in iCal?

I never found a post with a sufficient answer to this question. However, it seems as though I may have stumbled on a resolution myself.
iCal has it's own default calendars: Home and Work. I use MobileMe so the MoblieMe calendar is listed there as well. I also have an iPhone 4. I wanted all calendars to syncronize automatically when I create a new appointment on any of the 3 locations (laptop, cloud, or phone). I found that when create a new event in iCal on my macbook pro, it wouldn't update with mobileme or my phone. This was because when I double click to create a new event, iCal automatically puts the new event into my "Home" calendar, even though it was unchecked and not highlighted. As soon as I double click to create the new event, iCal's default kicks in and the Home calendar in the "On My Mac" section suddenly becomes checked and highlighted all by itself and the new event is automatically placed there, never to be updated with the cloud or on my phone.
I think the problem may be related to something I read under "How Do I Set a Default Calendar for New Appointments in iCal?" There a solution given was that the uppermost calendar was being defaulted to and it was suggested to drag the desired calendar to the uppermost position. None of my calendars would drag anywhere. However, I find that if I uncheck Home and Work in the column on the left under "On My Mac" AND then click the arrow so those two calendars are hidden (very important), and then check and highlight the only showing calendar: MobileMe, that (so far) when I doulbe click to create a new event, a new event is created in the MobileMe calendar, and Home and/or Work under the "On My Mac" section never becomes checked or highlighted. So the new event is created only in the MobileMe calendar listed and updates on my laptop, in the cloud, and on my phone.
So far that has been my experience; but, it has been only minutes since I tried that, so let's see what happens after a couple of weeks or so of normal use and see if the problem is actually resolved.

I have been searching for this information for weeks now -- thank you!
This works for Google Calendar as well as for Mobile Me. I'm going to type a little more information here to see if I can help this answer come up more quickly for other users when they keyword search as I was doing.
This answer helped me reset and change the default calendar for iCal. I can now set my Google Calendar as the default calendar in iCal. When I create a new event in iCal, it syncs to Google Calendar as the default calendar without having to choose another calendar. All my iCal new events now go directly to Google Calendar and sync to my iPhone and iPad. I couldn't move the gmail google calendar to the top position, and just unchecking Home and Work didn't change where new events defaulted. Now my new events automatically go from iCal to google calendar, and I don't lose track of any events. I think you can set any calendar as the default iCal calendar for new events using this approach.

  • How do I make a booking calendar for a holiday home

I would like to know how to make a simple (very simple) booking calendar for a holiday home.  Just to show dates occupied and name of who is occupying, up to about 6 people.  No prices or anything else.

    my operating system is
    OS X 10.9.2 (13C64)
does that help?  Do you mean I just save a calender specially for this purpose?  Didn't think it would be that simple.  I want to share it with the family.

  • Best way to work on Calendar for PC

I work/organize my schedules on Calendar and iCal, and sync both data on my iPhone and PowerBook, and I love them to work.
And I told my husband about them when he bought new iPhone(3GS 16gb) a few days ago. We found that iCal is not available for PC users, and found the information that using yahoo, google, outlook, etc. What would be best way to work on Calendar of iPhone for PC users? With free service.
    Thanks in advance for help!

For syncing contacts and calendar events direct via the iTunes sync process with Windows, Outlook 2003 or 2007 is required.
Google now supports accessing a Gmail account as an Exchange account via ActiveSync with the iPhone's Mail client. This provides for Push access for received messages, and syncing Google contacts and calendar events over the air.

  • Calendar for 5 years

    Dear all,
My client has 10 public holidays. When I created the holiday calendar, I marked it for 5 years (2011-2016). But now I'm having a small doubt,
Sunday is weekly off for my client.
Think on 2012 year two out-of the above 10 public holidays falls on Sundays. So effectively, the employees get only 8 holidays.
    1. So what is the use of creating calendar 2 years, 3 years or five years?
    2. Do we need to create the calendar every year or need to collect all the changes in the 5 years and create a different calendar.
    3. Even then what will happen after 5 years? Who will create the calendar for client?
    4. I know the option floating holidays and some other option is available. But up to what extent it helps?
    Regards
    ET

    Hello ET,
I general, we will create Holiday calendar yearly and will generate workschedules every year as part of the yearend activity from HR side.
Every company will have different set of holidays, in that floating hlidays like festivals will change every year so its good to generate holiday calendar every year.

  • Change activity calendar for ALL activities at once ?

Still new to P6, learning as I go...
I would like to change the activity calendar--for all existing activities in the schedule--and I would like to change it globally without having to go thru the sched line-by-line.
    Is this possible?
I have this problem with other fields as well, such as Duration Type.
I will keep searching, but... all help appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thank you so much--that was a great idea!
I had attempted fill-down previously, but it hadn't worked (user error of course).
This time, I read about it in Help--so I knew what I was doing--and it worked like a charm :-)
Points to you--you have answered the question.

  • Calendar for business use

I am trying to set up a shared calendar for business use. As we all use MAC it has been suggested that iCal could support this.
However, I am struggling to set this up.
Firstly, if I add any calendars to my existing set, it seems that any appointments or reminders are automatically shared. I don't think my colleagues need to know that the bins need putting out!
Ideally I would like to use a different Apple ID for business from personal. I cannot see that it is possible to have more than one Apple ID assigned to an iMAC.
Once you have set up a calendar, how do you go about sharing it with others on different IDs?
I cannot find anything to guide me on how to set this up or even whether it is possible. If anyone has any advice, I would be extremely grateful.
    Many thanks

You can share an individual calendar using iCloud. If the others need to write to it they will need their own iCloud accounts. The method is described on this and the subsequent pages:
    http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a8694
If you want to do this on another Apple ID/iCloud account (though there isn't really any need) you can add a second iCloud account in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars. The account will appear in the list in iCal under the new ID and you can add calendars to it.
You might like to look at BusyCal ($49.99) - it is similar to iCal but with extra facilities. (I have no connection with this firm.)
As it's for business purposes you should note that iCloud is positioned for personal use and although you can do what you suggest, there is minimal support. A possible alternative is Fruux which provides syncing using their own servers and has a service for Team use at €20 per month and proper support (I have no connection with this firm either).

  • Generate Calendar for Cumulations

    Hi Guru's,
Can u explain clearly what does this step means Generate Calendar for Cumulations  I have read this step many times in F1 help but i couldn't get the correct information. Can u please explain in detail where it is used.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi,
use the report RPUCTP10 (Generate calendar for cumulations and deductions) to define the assignment of payroll periods.
Ex: this we will use this report for deduction like I want to deduct wage type amount quarterly basis,  the wage type amount in  IT0014 accordingly time intervals  (for example, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly).
For this deduction and cumulation we need to define the payment models and periodicities, for that payment models we have to assign the period parameters like monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly.
This payment model again we have to assign MODDE feature.
If do you want understand easily go to path:
Personnel Management-> PA->Payroll Data->Recurring Payments and Deductions->Payment Models-> Define deduction periods - before this node we have to generate the RPUCTP10 program.

  • Calendars for Blackberry Curve 8330......

Ohhh please help me!!!! I just bought the Verizon Blackberry Curve 8330. I a coming from a Palm Treo 700P. I love the Curve but I do not want to have to use outlook. Anyone who used Palm knows you could have multiple calendars and on both the Pam and Computer. I have all my dads medical, appointments, my cancer appointments and both of our lives on my Palm. When Verizon Synchronized it only the phone #'s came through and nothing for the calendar. I am now having to carry my palm treo for the personal information, drug histories, appointments, etc. Does anyone know of a program with the Calendar for both the desktop and the blackberry that I can download that will synch to each other or have any other ideas on what I can do? I would so appreciate it. Thank you so very much for any help.

  • Why does Outlook keep "preparing [iCloud] calendar for first use"?

    Hello all --
I just installed iCloud on my Windows 7 laptop and configured it to integrate with Exchange. The functionality seems to work but there are two very annoying behaviours that I hope someone can help me with:
Every time I switch to the calendar view I get a little bubble in the taskbar saying "preparing calendar for first use". This ends up freezing Outlook for about 45- 60 seconds -- long enough for the Outlook window to have a "(not responding)" added to the title bar. This freeze-out is massively disruptive. It seems like Outlook is re-preparing the new iCloud calendars every time. Is this normal? Is there a configuration setting I could look at for this?
The iCloud calendars are always checked when I start up. Is there any way to uncheck them? Solving this might solve #1 above
Any suggestions on how to resolve and/or debug these further?
    Thanks!

    Hi Ramon,

  • Scheduling does not take the factory calendar for counting the workdays

I am scheduling my jobs in CPS 8 and I have imported my Factory calenders also. When using Factory calendars for scheduling the jobs for the 6th working day of every month, Its does not count the Saturday as a working day, where as the calendar I am using has Working day on Saturday.
Why is it so? And is there a way to solve this ?
Please suggest. Any help is appreciated.

    Hi All,
I have used this same logic for scheduling jobs scheduling for the nth work days of every month.
But I have a job, where it is required to be scheduled on the 5th workday of a month and it is submitted once in every 6 months.
When I schedule it for every month, it works fine. But when I use a submit frame to submit it for once in every 6 months, it does not work.
Can anyone suggest how to do it ? I used a embedded window to check it also, which didn't work.

  • How do you setup workgroup calendar for everyone?

I am not quite certain how to setup a shared calendar for everyone - like one general office calendar.  Is the only way to do this is to use a fake user in my ODM?  I have a calendar for myself, and I see how there are calendars bound to wikis, but the documentation isn't clear on how to setup a calendar for a workgroup.
    Thanks.

    Hello;
You can do that is Measurement and Automation Explorer (the blue NI logo at your desktop screen). Then, you create a virtual channel, configure the channel as a voltage input, and enter the scalling for that particular sensor. You can probably get all the information as far as scalling from the sensor vendor.
After you enter those numbers, you should be all set to start your acquisition.
    Hope this helps.
