Help. Can I retain the completed form?

I recently began using FormCentral and I believe that this product could be very useful for my applications. I have been able to create a form, fill out test forms, send the form and complete it from another device, work with the spreadsheet, etc. I am wondering if it is possible to retain the original completed form for my records, while still uploading the information online?

For the case where someone other than yourself performs the form submission, the response table gives you the option of saving the response as a PDF form. To learn more about that feature, please refer to the "Export a Response to a PDF File That Matches the Form Design" section in the following document:

How can I view a completed form as the person filling it out sees it. The text that is a part of the form does not print when the record(from) is printed.

We now support saving a response from the View Responses tab to PDF (that retains the form design shown on the Design tab). The PDF can be shared, archived or printed using Adobe Reader.

Have your husband text the word "stop" to 48369. This should take his number out of the iMessage system.
Go into your settings under messaging and make sure the box to send as an SMS if iMessage is unavailable is checked.
Hopefully this will get your messages sending/receiving to each other.

I have developed a form with fields hidden by default, that become visible based on box ticked or radio button selections.
My problem is that, when I close the form and re-open it, it comes back to it's default presentation, regardless of the information already recorded in the form (including in the now hidden fields.
How to correct that

I've had the same problem. This solved it...
Go to the "Form properties..." in the File-menu. Select "Run-time" to the left and in the box "Scripting" Preserve scripting changes to form when saved: choose Automatically (Script-based state changes are saved locally in an insecure fashion. This option cannot be used for certified forms).

How can i find the installed forms version in 6i, the situation is we have given a solution which will work in only forms6i latest version, before implementing the same we need to check whether the forms latest version has been installed or not
Is there any way to find out without opening the forms builder..?
Even if we un install the forms from a machine, the forms60_path variable will remain in regedit, so we cannot go based on that and aslo i dont know whether regedit will have the version details and all.
It would be greatly appreciated if any one can give a solution.

you query the registry, the registry has the version number saved, but I cannot remember exactly where and I don't have 6i Installed on my machine.
You just open the Forms Builder and click on Help/About.
But Jan's method is the best.

When bookmarking a page, I can't get the complete list of bookmark folders to drop down in order to select any folder in which to bookmark page. The 'Folder:' bar has 'Bookmarks Menu' showing. The arrow on the bar drops down 5 recent folders to which pages have been saved, but the pop down arrow to the right of the bar just opens to show the three categories and 'New Folder' button. To all, embarrassingly enough, I have discovered that I didn't know how to expand the three categories including 'Bookmarks Menu' in the 'Bookmark This Page' pop up interface. It was expanded by default on the initial Firefox opening and first page bookmark attempt. Next use it only showed categories. I clicked and double clicked the 'Bookmarks Menu' line, but failed to see the small, shaded triangle used to expand/collapse list. If it appears collapsed, just tap triangle at left of line to see all folders. It seems to open the same way after I do it for first time. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for all the attempts to help.

I am facing a paculiar problem with Shared Variables. I have an application in which shared variables are used for data communication.
One of the application requirement is to retain the variable values eventhough PC is rebooted or started after crashing.
As per the my understanding, the variable values will retain eventhough the PC is rebooted. But here i can observe a paculiar problem like some library variables are retaing the values while some others not. I enabled logging for all the variables.
I tried many ways. like logging enabled, logging disabled, changing variable names, changing process names etc... But i am not getting a consistent behaviour.
I hope some you can help me in solving this issue.. "How Can i retain the Shared Variable Values after PC rebooting"

Thanks for the post and I hope your well.
What do you mean by not getting consistent behaviour.. this will all depend on excatly when the crash happens i.e. before the write or after.
Surely a better method would be to log the data to a file during the reboot...
I beleived the value read back
will be the default value for the shared variable's data type.
The LabVIEW DSC 8.0 module adds more functionality to the shared variable, including initial values and alarms.
If you enable an initial value on a shared variable, when the variable
engine comes back on-line it will default to this value. Setting a bad
status alarm for the shared variable is also a good way of handling
this type of event. Additionally, if you are using a LabVIEW Real-Time
target such as Compact RIO or Compact FieldPoint, it is appropriate to
consider hosting the shared variable engine on the real-time target.
These devices have watch-dog capabilities and are typically the
hardware controlling the critical pieces of an application. Most
Windows or PC-based targets do not have these fail-safes.
I guess, if you could explain to me again that would be great. From my point of view, if I have a cRIO and a Windows PC. If the windows PC crashes, the cRIO will still update its shared variables. Then once the PC has started up its own shared variable engine, and the bindings are loaded, it will once again continue to update its copies of the variables.

How can i delete the complete Photo Library, as i can delete from the camera roll, but there dosent seem to be an obvious way to completely delete the Photo Library or items in the library either? There is no delete option like for the user generated albums...
I have tried deleting from the Camera Storage in the Settings menu, the delete appears but when pressed nothing happens.

I'm sorry but the way you worded the question I thought you were referring to iPhoto's library on the computer. I don't use an iPhone or the iPhoto app, so I can't answer your question in that regard.

If the PDF is a form fillable PDF, which I assume that it is, email it to yourself or send it to DropBox and open it on your computer. You should see the fields filled in there. It works for me if I do it that way.
Adobe Reader supports it, but the other apps don't. I assume that if you email the PDF to a computer user it would be readable in Adode Reader.

I know of no way to do this with Reader or XML.

Philip, dragging from iPhoto will export previews of the image, not the original high resolution image. To export higher quality versions from iPhoto don't drag, but use "File > Export"
You can also mail your photo directly from within iPhoto using "Share > Email" and set the "Size" to "Actual Size (Full Quality)"

how can i retain the trailling zeros after decimal?
values are showing in table like( 4.50,5.00) but i am trying to do some processing with these values then ithe zeroes are truncated like (4.5,5),
how can i get values with zeroes

If the values in the table have trailing zeroes, it's a character type column.
Once you perform operations on them, they're implicitely converted to the number type, hence "losing" trailing zeroes.
To get the trailing zeroes back, you have to convert them back to character data:
