Help - can no longer manage apps in iTunes
I can no longer manage my Apps from my PC as the screen is greyed out. This seems to have happened when I updated iTunes software (10.1.1.4) as well as the iPod Touch (4.2.1). I have removed all restrictions on the iPod, authorized my computer, logged out and in of iTunes account, removed and reinstalled iTunes.... I'm not sure what else to try.
Any suggestions?

i dont think my problem has to do with updating itunes because i just got my ipod and i always used this version itunes for it and it was working for a while.

Hi,
Last night I tried to update APPS in iTunes... showed 9 updates available. I tried to update them but at the beginning of the process I got a message that one of the APPs was no longer available ( didn't say which one) and the process stopped. None of the APPs was updated. Tried a number of times with same result. What can I do? Anyone else seen this?
Iphone was NOT attached at the time.Sadly, the iPhone 3G can not be upgraded beyond iOS 4.2.1.

I can no longer organize anything in iTunes but music since upgrading to 11.0. My photos are caught in limbo, I can sync and all end up on my computer as it should. However, there is no way to send back to the iPad the proper folders for customers it s all in the camera roll. Contacts are array. What do I do.
Removed. Re-synced. Still not working. Factory reset the phone, re-installed music... made a GIANT "Other" file instead of actually adding any songs.
Factory resetting again. Any other solutions?
EDIT: If It helps, I'm doing this all over USB connection, not trying to sync music through wifi or anything. -

Can connect to iTunes, Safari, Google et etc. No issue with our wifi/network, we also have another iPad which fas no problem downloading apps.Try syncing your iPad with your computer, that way it can update its version of iTunes.

If you have not taken the iPod apart, Apple will exchange it for a refurbished one for $99. You can do it an an Apple store

Depending on why it's been disabled you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your phone then try logging out of your account on the phone by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it -
I can no longer update apps on my iPhone 4 or my iPad 1 because it keeps asking me over and over to agree to new terms, so I do that and it still does not work. Just around and around in a circle. I do not want to update software. I like what I have.

I can no longer download apps that I buy. They are on my computer, they will no longer sync onto my phone. Yes, I DO know how to do it. They no longer will go onto my phone.
Did some searches, but did not come up with anything regarding your specific issue (the original one, the grey 'waiting' problem is quite common). If no other ofrum users chime in, it is indeed time to contact Apple / iTunes Store support.
If you have not yet one so, Try to Reset your device. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears (ignore the Slide to Power Off that shows up first).
You could also try to re-download one or two apps, just to see if anything changes. Log in to the iTunes Store, go to the Purchases section and download from the list of past purchases or free apps.

I can no longer download music from itunes store. It happened when I was trying to download songs dragged into a playlist. I tried to download more than one at a time. It stopped. Now I cant download at all. Even rebooted my machine.
OK thanks I will try that. I just don't understand why I still can't download new videos as I've deleted the software I installed and I've changed my camera settings back to what they were before when I could download into iPhoto. I perhaps should have mentioned it's iPhoto '08 version 7.1.5. Is there any way of putting iPhoto back as the "default download and view" programme?
It could be as simple as longer (larger) videos - iPhoto does not always handle larger video files well

iPhoto is not a download and view program - it is a photo management database program that imports photos - Image Capture is a download program - Preview is a view program
The default program to download your photos is set in the preference panel of either iPhoto or image capture

After downloading iTunes version 12.01.26 on my PC my iTunes can no longer connect to the iTunes store or iTunes Match. My itunes displayed a message at the top that it was connecting to the iTunes Store. After closing my laptop and opening it again after a few hours, there was a message stating that my computer was unable to connect to iTunes because of a problem with my internet connection. My laptop is connecting fine with the internet, yet not through the iTunes program, or at least it seems that way. I'm not positive but feel like the issue may have stemmed when I downloaded the new version, I think maybe I messed up the process somehow by closing my computer or something.

I can no longer download apps on my iPod. I recently had a card number on my iTunes account that i had to cancel and now it wants me to enter another card number so i can purchase apps. I only plan on getting free apps on my iPod and i do not want to enter my card number. Is there a way to create an account without enter my card number?
If you are curious and you want to know what iOS you are running - go to Settings>General>About>Version.
Also make sure that you transfer purchases into iTunes from your iPad via File>Transfer Purchases while the iPad is connected to your computer, with iTunes running and with your iPad selected. Also make sure that you backup your iPad by right clicking on the iPad name under devices and selecting - Backup. Copy any important files to your computer as well before you update your iPad. -

Are you trying to download them from your purchased list? If so, make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to purchase them in Settings>iTunes & App Store, and that the apps are still available for purchase in the App store. Then you should be able to download them as explained here: Download past purchases.
