HELP! can't create multicast address on HPUX 11i

          Platform: HPUX 11i; weblogic 7.0.1
          I have installed a weblogic Admin Server and two weblogic managed servers on
          one HP server. They were all using one NIC who has three ip addresses with it.
          The multicast address I defined was 237.0.0.19 and it has never been used.
          I start the admin server ,that's ok. But when I start managed server,It's says:
          Starting Cluster Service...
          <Nov 28, 2002 6:19:41 PM GMT+08:00> <Error> <Cluster> <000116> <Failed to join
          cluster mycluster at address 237.0.0.19 due to : java.net.SocketException: error
          setting options
          java.net.SocketException: error setting options
          But when I configure a managed server on another machine whose OS was Linux,It
          can join the group.
          Why does it happen? Is it the problem generated by HPUX?
          

Did you try the MulticastTest in the weblogic Java Utilities to conform
          that that address is availble and works?
          In addition, are there any routers in the net that would prevent the
          multicast message from being propagated?
          I would try other address just to see if they work.

    I want to create a set of nested address lists so that I can manage a largish group of contacts in a voluntary organisation with a hierarchy, rather like the way I manage contacts in Work using MS Outlook (sorry for mentioing the competition!). I tried adding an existing list (call it List1) to a new list (call it List2) which also has to carry some additional individual contacts. When I do this, "List2" shows the individual contacts and "List1" as well; when I select it for the "To:" line in a new email, "List2" appears OK, however when I send the email it is only sent to the individuals and does not go to the members of "List1".
    Am I doing something wrong or does Thunderbird not support this?

    Basic info on 'Address Book'.
    There are two default address books which you cannot delete.
    'Personal Address Book' and 'Collected Addresses'.
    You can add further 'address books'.
    File > New > Address Book.
    Enter a name and click on OK
    Address books can be created to hold specific contacts eg: Family, Clients or if you have a lot of people you can sub divide them.
    eg: A - M in one and N-Z in another
    You can also create 'Mailing Lists'.
    Mailing Lists are sub groups to an address book.
    Mailing lists are designed to allow selected contacts that are already in the address book be grouped together so that you can send one email to that group of people in your address book.
    So, a person in a 'Mailing List' must also be in the associated address book and must have a valid email address.

    Hi, friends,
    I installed Oracle 10.2.0 one hour ago.
    Then I tried to create a tablespace.
    In this tablespace, I add one datafile, the size is 5GB.
    I used OEM to do this.
    But I don't know why the creating procedure still running.
    Based on my experience, it takes about 5 minutes to
    add a 5GB datafile into a tablespace. Now, 40 minutes has
    gone by, the program is still running.
    What is the problem?
    My system is Windows Server 2003, standard edition.

    Hi, friends,
    I have a new finding about adding datafile to tablespace.
    I can't add any datafile to any tablespace to my H drive,
    either my created tablespace, or system-related tablespace,
    except the TEMP tablespace.
    That means, I successfully added datafile to TEMP tablespace with my
    H drive.
    But I can't add datafile to any other system-related tablespace, such as
    SYSTEM, SYSAUX, USER, etc with my H drive.
    My login has administrator previliges. I restarted the whole computer system
    There is no any help.

    I am a CC subscriber so I have five Adobe hostings available.

    Why would Adobe sell Dreamweaver with all it’s capabilities and not support using it on the hostings that are sold as part of the package?

    Create very simple, unique content in Dreamweave. No commerce, just pages.
    Publish it (test site is OK) to one of my available Adobe hostings.
    Have it look just like I created it without any Business Catalysts templates or content.
    What I have been told:  
    My five Adobe hostings are in Business Catalyst
    I have to use Business Catalyst templates or my web site will not work
    I cannot create unique content in Dreamweaver and use my Adobe hostings to post content entirely of my own design. I must conform to Business Catalyst.

    I can create my content in Dreamweaver.

    When I push up (put) my content, it appears to transfer up
    After a few seconds, the files on the server are zroed out (zero byte size).
    My content is not on the web server.
    What I have not tried but will do next:
    Create a New Business Catalyst Test site in Dreamweaver.
    Allow Dreamweaver to download the site content.
    Strip out all of the prefabricated junk.
    Build my content.
    Push (put) it up.
    See if it works.
    This is a pain.

    No of course you can, You build your site as you want and upload to BC. You just need to note that the sites will be only the web basic plan so limited features.

    Get out of your head "Adobe hosting" it is Adobe business catalyst

    If you have raw static html and css files etc in pages - this will work. This is the wrong way to build a site but you can do so if you want to.

    Not true. Now there are templates you can use to build your sites. The other "template" term you will here are the templates you use in your site builds, pages and other elements use - Layout control - change once, update many.

    The concept of creating content in Dreamweaver is not correct. You should be desining your site and then build it in Dreamweaver and then you manage the content using Business Catalyst.

    I do not use DW to build my BC sites so not sure what is happening there. It shouldnt, sounds like your syncing not uploading files.

    To remove the cross syncing for the web basic creative cloud sites for people in muse there is an option in Site settings you need to tick, I am guessing you need to do this too.
    After a few seconds, the files on the server are zroed out (zero byte size).
    You will need to contact Business Catlayst support on this one

    Setup a database table and populate the fields (i.e. auto-numerical_primary_key, id, dynamic_mod_url, title, article_content, etc.) then on your page create a filtered recordset where URL parameter (id) = your database table field (primary_key). Place the bindings of the filtered recordset on the page to show dynamic values for the filtered recordset based on the URL parameter. That way when someone visits yoursite.com/page.php?id=1 it will show the content for the database table where the primary key = 1 and so on. use dynamic_mod_url in conjunction with .htaccess dynamic mod rewrite to change yoursite.com/page.php?id=1 into yoursite.com/the_name_of_dynamic_mod_url_for_primary_key_1.html

    Im trying to create a new picture for my account
    i go to system preferences
    click "accounts"
    i go to my account
    i click the lock, type my password so the lock will unlock
    i go to pictures
    click edit
    drag my picture into there
    format it (size, location etc.)
    i click "set"
    now on the left theres a little bar with all of the accounts, right?
    there beside my account name i see the old picture
    beside the edit button on the right i see the new picture
    if i close the box or if i click the lock, the picture goes back to the old picture

    You can add up to three 'email aliases' - these are additional addresses (not accounts) which deliver into the same inbox as the main account. (In fact it's a good idea to give out alias addresses, rather than the main address, because if they attract spam you can easily change them.) (New aliases can only be @icloud.com ones; @me.com addresses cannot now be created.)
    You should be aware before you start that once you've created an alias you cannot turn that address into a full iCloud account or move it to another account.

    You can of course create additional iCloud accounts, but any one device can create only three accounts - after that it can sign into accounts created on another device but not create any more (this is tied to the hardware).

    I use a Macbook Pro and have no problem emailing to a distribution list I created in Address Book using Mail.  However, iPhone Mail does not seem to recognize the "group"...instead I have to enter each person's email address separately in the Send To box.  Does anyone know why or what I need to do?

    That's not a feature of the iPhone. The phone can not address distribution lists.

    Aliases, which are additional email addresses (not accounts) are set up at http://icloud.com - go to the Mail pane, click the cogwheel at top right, choose Preferences, and in the pane which opens click 'Accounts' in the toolbar. You will see your main address and any aliases in the list, and you can add another if the space is available - however you can only have three, so if you already have three you can only get another address by creating a new Apple ID and opening a new iCloud account with it. You would set that up in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.
    (I assume you have Lion? - if so please amend you signature which shows you have Leopard. The iCloud preference pane does not appear in Leopard, which is not compliant with iCloud.)

    I can't create an email account on my Blackberry Curve 3G 9300, because it first asks for my user name and password, and when I enter them it says it's invalid. I've checked, double-checked, and triple-checked to make sure I'm entering them correctly, but still no luck.

    Eureka. You are right. I just tested closing and reopening Mail and now today's groups work. Regarding editing the existing groups, I found an article from 2011 on CNet that claimed that iCloud disables the Distribution List Editor. The work around is to create a single dummy group under "On My Mac" which will reactivate the editor which can then be used for iCloud groups. I tested this and it works.

  • Can not Create Address Book for new Supplier

    I am trying to create a supplier in R12. Under create Address Book for the supplier, I have created the address and when I select the operating unit and click apply, I am getting the following error:
    Address and Site Creation - Unable to create address and sites because of the following error when trying to create the site in operating unit [Anirudh Operations]: [ORA-01403: no data found in Package AP_VENDOR_PUB_PKG Procedure Validate_Vendor_Site]. Either resolve this issue and try again or deselect the operating unit with the error and continue. Note: any new address requires at least one site in order to be created.
    Oracle Version: 12.0.4 - Vision Database.
    Am I doing something wrong here?

    Looks like the responsibility you are using is pointing to a new operating unit created by some one. But for that operating unit all the fundamental options are not complete (financial, purchasing, payables and so on). Hence you are getting this error.
    If they are setup, you can try adding this operating unit into your security group associated to the MO: Security group profile and try.
    If not use the Vision Operations responsibility and give it a try.
