Help! can't get my iCal to-do's to sync to Palm
I am slowly, and with a few hiccups, making the transition from Chronos Personal Organizer to iCal. I've got a new Palm Z22, and the events in iCal synced nicely to the Palm, but the to-do's aren't getting synced. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for responding. I am using iSync 2 to sync my Palm and iCal, which I understand works through using the Palm HotSync application. I've read about the Missing Sync, but haven't given it a try. Maybe I will. What I'm noticing is not just that my to-do's aren't syncing, but also that some categories are being ignored as well. Hmm.

I cannot seem to get my iMac Calender to transfer updates to my Ipad... yet I know I did this once before. My OS on the mac is 10.6.8 and so I apparently cannot use icloud and I can't update my OS due to some software that I use that cannot go beyond that yet. So I'm stuck. OK, then you need to go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad, and make sure that "Calendars", "Contacts", "Notes", and "Mail" are turned OFF. Then connect your iPad to iTunes on your Mac, and on the Device Profile screens select "Info". On that screen you can select your sync options once you have turned off those options in Settings>iCloud on your device.
You do not need to upgrade anything in order to do this. You are just syncing via the Mac and iTunes vs. syncing via iCloud. The link I provided you with before has the info on how to sync via iTunes vs. iCloud.

Check your Settings on both devices. Is iCloud's calender sync turned on (Settings > iCloud > Calendar)? Please make also sure that you are not only using local calendars.

How can I get my ical events from my iMac to my iPhone? Anything I entered into ical on my iPhone will transfer to ical on iMac when plugged in, but not vice versa. I think I have changed my iPhone (after looking at similar questions) to iCloud, but it's still not syncing.
You need to sign into your iCloud account on your Mac, and check the Calendar option. System Preferences>iCloud, sign on your iCloud account, check the apps you want to sync with your device.

I can not get my Skylanders Portal of Power to sync with my iPad. Blue Tooth is on in the settings and I push the sync button on the bottom of portal but it never finds the device. HELP

I can't get my new 7th gen nano to sync to my exsisting itunes. It keeps saying the ipod is not detected.
If youre like me, I have so many Apple devices, I always move things over manually rather than remember what to sync and what not to sync........ There’s an option to UNCHECK sync on any device if that helps you in ITUNES.
On any device, like your phone, in ITUNES you can check the option for manual vs. automatically sync. -

Are you aware it only syncs iMessages. Also once enabled only new messages will sync, try messaging the user from the Mac and see if that gets things going for you. -
how can I get an in app purchase that never synced w/ imac onto comp from my old 3g so that i do not have to 'repurchase' for the 4 (2 apps are groove and doodle buddy)?
SO, do I delete the app off of both the old 3g phone AND the imac, then reinstall on ONLY the imac, then re sync? OR, should I delete off computer, repurchase on computer then re-sync with new iphone4? I realize this is kind of roundabout, but the issue I ran into was too much stuff on my old 8GB 3G, and I was stuck on iOS3 FOREVER (couldn't upgrade to iOS4) soooo, I deleted a whole bunch of piddly apps from the phone ONLY, which then allowed me to update to iOS4 (on the 3G). Then, I could sync (which I did, but obviously not everything transferred, b/c when I synced the new 32 GB iphone 4, there are particular apps {doodle buddy and groove, my tap fish...} that are missing the in app purchases, but these are still on the old 8GB 3G). I am so confused....

Downloaded ios5 one week ago, last nigth synced itunes and lost most apps, even folders and modified backup. How can I get back what I had before last synced?
Try resetting your home screen layout, go to your setting>general>reset home screen layout.

Help - can't get the pop-up memu to show
i have the new macbook pro, but i am new to itunes. i just plugged in the hk sticks as an external speakers. but i can't get the itunes to play the music off my usb speakers. i have followed the help directions and in the advanced tab of the preference menu, i have checked "look for remote speakers connected with Airtunes." i still see no pop-up menu. my neighbor who also has a mac has no idea why i can't see it.

I believe you need to choose the speakers in System Preferences. To do this-
System Preferences- Sound- Output- and select your usb audio device
You are using the MBP so I can't say for sure that evrything will work this way because of interface issues, but it should. If not try posting this in the MacBook Pro pages.

When you do get the computer working you will be able to attempt to get crash IDs.
You can use another browser if necessary to obtain crash IDs

As for sorting out the computer problems, that is not really on topic for this site, and what you need to do will depend on your OS. You may have safe mode type startup options on the computer.
