Help! Can't get Quicktime and Itunes to load
I am the computer administrator, and I keep getting the following error when trying to load quicktime 7.1.5....
Can't open key;
Hkeylocalmichine/software/classes/quicktimeplayerlib.quicktimeplayerapp/CLSID
verify you have access.
I have completely un-installed the older version of quicktimes that was in the computer but not wanting to work sometimes before installing the new version.
Help!
doublechecking something here. have you tried the additional suggestions at the end of the following document?

I can't get Quicktime or iTunes to open
Help... I have no idea what's happened, but suddenly my PC won't open up iTunes or Quicktime. When I click on it, it takes about a minute then gives me what looks like a windows error that says "iTunes has encountered an error and needs to close".
I have removed and re-installed BOTH iTunes and Quicktime, but I keep getting the same message. And that tells us exactly WHAT??? Meanwhile I'm sitting on $800 of software and the tutorials for it require Quicktime which won't play. Grrrrrr! I've installed, uninstalled, restored, reinstalled...and with always the same result. I upgraded my DirectX, running all the latest XP updates, carrying 3 gigs of memory, new ATI Ice 512 mb graphics card..can't imagine what the problem might be at this point.

Can't get images and websites to load in my emails on my 8830
This is starting to bug me but when I get emails the Images on my email do not load. some are too hard to scroll through all the html crap to find the actual email.
I am using the 8830 World phone through Alltel.
I am sure there has to be a setting to correct this, I just can't find it or I am not sure what to look for .Look in Options >About. If it's 4.2.x.xxx then you won't get any HTML email.
I was just searching around and it seems that nobody has yet officially released 4.5 for the 8830 yet. However, if you Google you may find something.

I can't get into my iTunes Store. Every time I try, it force closes. I've already tried restarting my phone and that's not working. HELP!!
someone suggested to open your music app and access the store from there first, once done then you can go to the itunes store app, try it and see if it works

Somehow my iTunes app has been put into the trash. How can I get this and all of the stuff that was in it back to my Application folder? I try to drag it out of trash, but it won't work.
Also, when I do try to drag it out of the Trash to put it back into Applications (on the Finder sidebar), it asks me to authenticate with the administration password. I enter it, and then a window appears saying that I can't do that because I do not have permission to modify iTunes. Please help.

I just finished using iTunes, closed out and then tried to get ack in. Got this message "The iTunes library .9tl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file." How can I get back ino iTunes ?
I actually figured it out...I had to go to the iTunes Library Extras.itdb file and give myself permission to have full control. THEN, I could go and estore a previos version. Once I had done this, I got the same message for iTunes Library Genius.itdb . . . I did the same thing with it and Voila'!!

I accidently deleted QuickTime from my computer. Then I did a system restore and retrieved the program. Now Itunes can't find QuickTime and will not open.Is there a eazy fix for this without using my Ipod? Ihave 6K songs in Itunes that I can't get to.

T-BILLHmmm. There's a couple of things that might be going on with that one.
Let's try an uninstall and reinstall of QuickTime first.
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel. Select "QuickTime", click "Change" and then click "Remove".
If you're using & or Vista, head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select QuickTime, and then click "Uninstall".
You can get QuickTime back either via Apple Software Update (in your Start menu go "All Programs > Apple Software Update" ... QuickTime should appear in the "New Programs" section), or by downloading a QuickTimeInstaller.exe from the following location:

Have a current movie on my computer and can't get it into ITunes so I can put on my IPad
Have a current movie on my computer and can't get it into ITunes so I can put on my IPAd. I tried dragging from desktop and nothing happens, also tried adding file or folder to library and nothing happens.
Convert your movie to quicktime or another format iTunes can play.
If you can add it and play it in iTunes, it will also work on the iPad.

I just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS7 and it wants me to connect to iTunes before I can do anything. But my computer is broken and I'm borrowing someone else's. Will it try to sync with their computer? Can I get around using iTunes somehow? I'm new to this; any help would be appreciated!
If the device is indicating to connect to iTunes, then it is in recovery mode. You will need the computer and iTunes to recover it. You can fix the iTunes to not sync to your device, but just let it recover the phone. I hope you would have a backup of your data in iCloud, since it is no longer available to you on the phone.

I updated from windows xp to windows 7 and can not get into my itunes account. I get the notice that I am only allowed 5 devices and this isn't a new device just an updated one. How do I get to my itunes?
Take a look at Apple's document for authorizations -> iTunes Store: About authorization and deauthorization.
You can deauthorize all computers from iTunes. All you have to do is click iTunes Store, click your account name in the upper right corner of iTunes, then deauthorize all. -
How can I get my old iTunes music onto my new computer without access to my old computer? I left my previous job and forgot to transfer my music. I bought iTunes match and it shows my old Mac as a device, but I cannot access any of the old music. All I can find are what was on my iPhone, but that's not what I want. I need all my old music from my old Mac, which has been wiped clean by IT at my old job. BUT, I did have iCloud at that time and I thought all my music would be accessible through it. I don't understand the Cloud! And I'm thinking spending $24.99 on iTunes Match was a waste of money because I still can't access my old music.
When you are done with this issue, consider the computer back at the office may still
have access to your iTunes account, and it should be de-auhorized. You can do that
remotely, but be sure you carefully do not mess up your other computer iTunes libraries.

Please also check, if the appointments you already have entered on one device are stored in a iCloud calendar or only local or in another account. Therefor just open the calendar app, then open an existing appointment, click on "Calendar" and then check, if it is really an iCloud calendar where the appointment is stored.
