HELP: Can't locate JAXP1.1 in J2EE1.3 or JAXP1.3 in J2SE5.0

Hi All,
I am using an older textbook(2002) on XML and XSL capabilities in Java web applications and the example in the book said that JAXP1.1 contains 3 jar files which are crimson.jar,jaxp.jar and xalan.jar and the book also said that JAXP1.1 is part of J2EE1.3. and is needed for XML and XSL capabilities.
My problem is that I have J2EE1.3 on my hard disk and I can't still locate these jar files. Another problem is that the Sun's website said there is a new version of JAXP called JAXP1.3 and it is part of J2SE1.5. So, I downloaded the J2SE1.5 and still could not locate the said JAXP1.3. Is it me that did not look well for this JAXP file or did you guys encountered this problem? Please where can I get jaxp1.1 or jaxp1.3 as I can't see it in the J2EE or J2SE5.0 that I downloaded?

Same here.
I encountered the same problem in my tries to validate an XML file, the SAX style..

I found an answer to this on another page (I was having the same problem) This worked for me:
    Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

  • Terrance Devlin answered a question about iPhoto (4-2012) re:copying iPhoto Library to an ExHD, and losing all the albums. I can't locate the "Choose Library" when I open iPhoto with the opt button. Can anyone help?

I tried to move my images (over 25,000) to an External Hard drive to open up some memory, hoping to make my computer run faster. It took three hours to move the images and I see them all in the mac's menus. However when I try to open them with iPhoto now, none appeared. and when I tried to import them back to the main HD they come in to iPhoto just fine, but not with the albums nor any of the massive organization i'd created in the original. this represents years of images, and I can't imagine that I'd have to recopy them into folders/albums again.
Terrance Devlin answered a similar question back in April of last year. He said to make sure the ExHD is formatted to MAC OS Extended (Journaled) and to move the library to the ExHD and then open iPhoto with the option button and select "Choose Library" from the resulting menu.
Command "I" tells me that the new drive is formatted correctly. I can't locate the "Choose Library" when I open iPhoto with the opt button.
First, I wondered if the application needs to be on the same drive as the Library. I sure would like to know if I can find out how to restore all the folders I had them in. Terrance's advice helped the user that had asked the question.
Here's the url for that archived discussion: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3849933?start=0&tstart=0
Can anyone help? I'm using iPhoto 5. My MAC is an OS X version 10.4.11.
    thanks, brokenlom

    Here are Apple's instructions:
If you are using iPhoto ’06 or earlier, you will need to follow these steps to tell iPhoto where the Library is now located:
Hold down the Option key on the keyboard and open iPhoto. Keep the Option key held down until you are prompted to create or choose an iPhoto Library.
    Click Choose Library.
Locate and select the iPhoto Library in its new location.
    (from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1229 )
Below (in the link below) is what you should see when holding down the option key and opening iPhoto. Keep holding down the option key until this dialogue comes up. You want to select the Choose Library button.

After "Restoring iTunes Library backup" it wont link to the files in the iTunes folder. I've followed the procedure as described, and the iTunes folder is in the correct location. iTunes lists all my music correctly (albeit with no artwork), but can't locate any of the files.
I've been restoring my iTunes folder from a backup hard drive to a new computer on which I've downloaded the latest iTunes (10.7). If this is a newer version than the one I backed up with could this be the problem? (I had the latest (to my knowledge) iTunes when I backed up the folder about 3 weeks ago, was this version 10.7?)
Or is the version of iTunes (within recent updates) not an issue when restoring a library?
    Using Windows 7.
    Any help please?

From the top of the page where the scripts live...
The general method of use is to download the script to a folder of your choice, e.g. your Desktop, Downloads folder or create a folder at ...\iTunes\Scripts. Select a playlist or highlight some tracks in iTunes and then double-click on the script to execute it. If no specific tracks are selected the script will try to work with all tracks in the current playlist. Some scripts offer a choice of track by track confirmation of changes or fully automatic processing of the selection. Many of the scripts can optionally display a progress bar while running.
You are strongly advised to backup your entire library, or at the very least the iTunes Library.itl file, before use. Test the behaviour of your chosen script on a small group of files first to make sure it does what you want before applying it to large numbers of files.
Most builds of Windows will execute *.vbs scripts when you double-click them. If that doesn't happen then you might need to visit the Add/Remove Programs or Programs & Features control panel to enable the Windows Scripting Host. I can track down details if you have issues.
Backing up and restoring data is an area that is often glossed over. Most people don't try to learn much about it until they've lost something important. (Me too )
If your iTunes library was in the usual layout then normally copying the whole iTunes folder from the User's Music folder in the old computer to the User's Music folder in the new one will usually work fine. Ideally this is done before iTunes is installed so that there is no empty library to replace, and all settings are picked up from the old library. This post contains more details.

my  friend ipad 2 was stolen if they reset the device in factory setting, just wanna ask if we can still locate the device using find my iphone...mobileme?pls help me,...

It's unfortunate that your device has been stolen.  You can report this to the police, but as has been answered before, if the device is restored you CANNOT locate it.
It probably is technically possible to track your device by the SIM; law enforcement will not waste their time doing so.  Besides, the thieves have probably changed it anyway.
While unfortunate your iPad is gone, you really need to move on.

  • Can't locate to delete file...Need help...

So my kid got a fisher price iXl toy which required that I download the drivers for the mac as it didn't come with a disc for the mac. I downloaded the file fine and launched it however the software wasn't able to connect to the fisher price server, don't know why.
I then decided to use our netbook which worked just fine.
Today, I had several freezing of Safari and Firefox and wasn't sure why until I launched Console to see that there is a file that is trying to make a contact every 10 seconds; I'm not exactly sure if that's what its doing but it seems like it.
I can see the location of file on console but when I follow it, I can't locate it. Here's what it looks like:
    12/28/10 10:17:41 AM com.apple.launchd[106] (com.fisherprice.iXLagent[252]) posix_spawn("/Applications/iXL.app/Contents/Resources/iXLAgent.app/Contents/Mac OS/iXLAgent", ...): No such file or directory
Can someone help me to remove this process?

    Uninstalling Software: The Basics
Most OS X applications are completely self-contained "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the Trash. Applications may create preference files that are stored in the /Home/Library/Preferences/ folder. Although they do nothing once you delete the associated application, they do take up some disk space. If you want you can look for them in the above location and delete them, too.
Some applications may install an uninstaller program that can be used to remove the application. In some cases the uninstaller may be part of the application's installer, and is invoked by clicking on a Customize button that will appear during the install process.
Some applications may install components in the /Home/Library/Applications Support/ folder. You can also check there to see if the application has created a folder. You can also delete the folder that's in the Applications Support folder. Again, they don't do anything but take up disk space once the application is trashed.
Some applications may install a startupitem or a Log In item. Startupitems are usually installed in the /Library/StartupItems/ folder and less often in the /Home/Library/StartupItems/ folder. Log In Items are set in the Accounts preferences. Open System Preferences, click on the Accounts icon, then click on the LogIn Items tab. Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to delete it from the list.
Some software use startup daemons or agents that are a new feature of the OS. Look for them in /Library/LaunchAgents/ and /Library/LaunchDaemons/ or in /Home/Library/LaunchAgents/.
If an application installs any other files the best way to track them down is to do a Finder search using the application name or the developer name as the search term. Unfortunately Spotlight will not look in certain folders by default. You can modify Spotlight's behavior or use a third-party search utility, Easy Find, instead. Download Easy Find at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.
Some applications install a receipt in the /Library/Receipts/ folder. Usually with the same name as the program or the developer. The item generally has a ".pkg" extension. Be sure you also delete this item as some programs use it to determine if it's already installed.
There are also several shareware utilities that can uninstall applications:
    AppZapper
    Automaton
    Hazel
    CleanApp
    Yank
    SuperPop
    Uninstaller
    Spring Cleaning
Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate.

  • ITunes has gone apesh*t! Please help! (can't locate files)

    Good day!
I recently installed iTunes 7 (a few weeks ago, I guess.) For the most part, it has been working fine. But tonight, when I opened iTunes, it asked questions as if it had just been installed for the first time.
Now, all my music is stored on an external hard drive (J: Drive), and it defaulted that it was in my "My Music" folder in "My Documents", so I fixed that, and that didn't solve my problem: It can't locate any of my songs. (Here's the weird part, it can play the handful of MPEG files I have, but not the 99% AAC files. Both types are on the external hard drive). It lists them, but can't locate them, and i don't want to tell it the exact location of almost 5000 songs.
I tweaked a bit with my "iTunes Library" music database file, but that didn't help. Does the XML file ("iTunes Music Library") have any purpose?
    Help me out!

    I'm having the same problem.
iTunes lost about 100+ of my songs. I can manually go through and fix them but I'd rather not go through each one and track it down. I can see what's wrong in the library xml file but fixing them there doesn't do anything.
I tried recreating my library files and iTunes completely lost the songs along with several podcasts and all my playlists. Thankfully I'd backed up the library files before trying this, so I'm back where I started.
The date sounds about right, was that when the update before 7.5 came out? I also noticed that iTunes had reset my library location around that time(caught it and fixed it though).

  • TA25981 I have set up my base station, no problem, but I can not locate my set up assistant to complete the process to work with our iPads.  It is Mac OS X 10.7.2.  Anyone help?

I have set up my ariport extreme base station, no problem, but I can not locate my airport assistant to continue to work wirelessly with our ipads.  When you click on the airport base station, it only shows the info about the base station.  The assistant will not come up.  Can anyone help?  It is a Mac OS X 10.7.2.

Not sure what you mean by "assistant".
Assuming that you have set up the AirPort Extreme to broadcast a wireless network, you need to connect to that wireless network from each iPad or other wireless device.....just like you would connect to a network at the coffee place or bookstore.
    On an iPad....
Tap Settings on the home screen
Tap Wi-Fi on the left panel
Tap on the name of your new network when it appears
    Tap in the password
    Tap Join

These are user-to-user forums, I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post.
Apple and/or iTunes support can't locate it for you, only you can potentially locate it via http://icloud.com on a computer or Find My iPhone / Find My iPad on another device - but that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPhone disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.
