HELP! Can't pick up any wifi anywhere and internet is soo slow

For about the last week i am unable to pick up any wifi anywhere, its not even giving me the option to turn on my wifi. And my internet has been completely slow or wont connect at all. I have the iphone 4s. I reset it, reset the network settings, deleted apps, pictures and dont know what else to do, can anyone pleaseeee help??? Thank you

godmommy1, that sounds very frustrating! I see you went through a number of troubleshooting steps trying to resolve this. Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like the computer wont connect to networks. I see you have used network diagnostic. I would recommend that you read this article, there are a lot of other things you can do in this article that may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.

My partner updated to IOS 5 last night on his iPhone 4 and can no longer pick up any wifi signal and phone signal is dire in areas where he had no problem before... anyone having similar issues??

I am having similar problems on my new iPhone 4S
My mac gets good wifi connection in the same location. I measured the signal strength -- something like -77db signal vs. -90db noise.
But my iPhone WiFi keeps cutting in and out. In fact, I left my phone on last night to update various apps over WiFi. When I checked it this a.m. I had received several warning messages from AT&T that I was nearing my 3G data limit. I looked at my phone and it had consumed nearly 100mb of cellular data overnight, when it should have been connected over WiFi.
Needless to say, it's taken some of the thrill away from my new iPhone...

Have you tried standard troubleshooting
ie reboot >> press hold and sleep until Apple logo appears ignoring

LOL. I just posted same. It connects to my home, but when I'm at my office my phone (5) does not automatically connect to wi-fi. I have to manually do it all the time and it also keeps dropping it. A few other people here have droids, no problem. Never had an issue before the upgrade.

No one here can know why for certain, and yes.
If no change after resetting network settings on your iPhone and after restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, the iPhone has a hardware problem with the wireless card or something else.

TS1398 Update iPhone 4s to 6.1.3 (10B329) now I can't connect to any wifi networks at home or at work and all car Bluetooth systems will not connect either. Help! Extremely annoyed at apple for putting out software that causes such mayhem.

First, grow up. Just because YOUR phone isn't working, doesn't mean Apple put out bad software. I've not had any difficulty, nor has anyone else I know. And just how is Apple risking lives with Bluetooth kits not working? It's YOUR decision to talk on the phone or text and drive. Not Apple's.
We're users here, volunteering our time to help others. Posts like yours, which are whiny and ranting, simply means we're likely to ignore you and not provide you with any help. Not to mention, it makes you look absolutely foolish.
Further making you look foolish is the fact that you haven't even asked a technical support question, nor have you provided anyone here with any troubleshooting steps you might have taken, including those recommended in the user guide.

When I try to turn on my iPhone 4, it wouldn't turn on unless if I use an iPad Charger. When it will turn on. I can't connect to any WiFi Services or my Service Provider, I can't text or call anyone. When I unplug my iPhone 4 it'll just shut off.

So when I try to plug in My iPhone 4 to any plug it won't turn on or charge unless if I use an iPad charger. When I do get to turn it on. My Phone will Standby for a few seconds( While I'm Typing my 4-Digit Code) then it'll unlock and go to the home screen. Once I'm on the home Screen I can't Call, Text or Email anyone because my iPhone Can't detect any Wifi Hotspots and it also can't connect to my Service Provider, It'll just Say "Searching...". The non-internet apps work perfectly fine. So since I was able to use Just an iPad Charger to turn on my iPhone 4, I tried a Regular iPhone charger that were plugged into a wall or my computer. When its Plugged in, my iPhone will turn on ( Showing the Apple Logo) then turn back off. It'll constanly do this only when it's plugged into a Regular iPhone Charger, Either plugged into a Wall Socket or my Computer. So I Tried to Restore the Phone by using some of the Methods, given by other iPhone 4 Users, non of them worked. My iPhone won't Restart, Restore, Turn on without a Charger, Be Detected on my Computer and Detect my Service Provider. I really need help to fix my iPhone 4. I'm really not sure if it's a Malfunction with the Software on the iPhone, if my Sim Card is Broken. if the System is Corrupted but it only happens Rarely.

Can't Connect to any WiFi network

I just got my iPhone yesterday and I'm already having a serious problem,I can't connect to any WiFi networks.
I can see the networks around me and I can select networks that I've setup and I know are open or I know the security passwords, I can even enter the network passwords for the ones that require them and it accepts them without complaint. When I select a network I get a little check mark next to that network which I assumes means it should be connected to that network. However, the iPhone never actually connects to them, i.e. no IP address, no router no nothing in the network settings screen for each network, and always appears to the using the Edge wireless network when accessing the internet.
I've tried DHCP and static IP but neither works.
I updated the phones software to 1.1.4, has anybody reported problems like this with this or any version of the software.
Any help would be much appriciated.
If I can't get this resolved today I'm returning to the AT&T store tonight for a new one.

I have personally used an iPhone with routers from D-Link, Netgear, Linksys, Apple and Belkin.
Some routers, regardless of manufacturer need to have their firmware updated. Generally speaking if you look at the release notes, the same updates that resolve issues with DHCP for game systems and PDAs, also resolves them for the iPhone.
In addition hardware or MAC address filtering can cause issues where you connect to the network and not get DHCP.

Ive just got the Iphone 5 and for some reason i can not pick up a WIFI connection anywere ? I've tried it at work were everyone is connected to it and mine will not pick it up please help

If the Start Firewall button is grey (inactive) check to see if the pad lock is "locked" in the lower left corner of the screen. If so, click it and enter the Administrator password to unlock it. Then you can start the firewall.

I don't know if it was jailbroken, I bought it new, we don't have an Apple Shop here in Algeria to buy iPhones nor any other Apple's product. All products are not officially open for Algeria, Now, I think that it was jealbroken, I realized that now, I think it's not my fault to buy a jealbroken product -without knowing that- it's Apple's fault! why they don't open an Apple shop everywhere in the world like its rivals DID?!
