Help...CAN"T save OEM Preferred Credential on Oracle9.2.0.1/Redhat8.0
Just installed Oracle 9i ( 9.2.0.1.0 ) on Redhat 8.0.
Installed OEM server;
Started OEM console with logging to management server;
Node found and added to navigator;
Now trying to set Preferred Credential for both
target->database and target->node: after entering name/password then press OK, it's not saved!!!
( When I open Configuration-Preference-Preferred
Credential, all credentials fields are blank!)
And I can't use export/import, error message says preferred credential not set.
Any one can help me???

yes my instance is working now!
It was the Problem, that i even couldn't create a database with the Oracle Database Configuration Assistant!
First step, is to set the following environment variables into the "System variables".
DBMS_TYPE=ora
dba_ora_tnsname=DEV
NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8
ORACLE_HOME=D:oracle<SID>102
ORACLE_SID=<SID>
PATH=(*);D:oracle<SID>102bin;(*)
TNS_ADMIN=D:usrsap<SID>SYSprofileoracle
<i>you have to set for <SID> your Database-ID and change the D:\oracle\<SID>\102 Path correct! And just add the upper path into the PATH-Variable.</i>
Then i created a database named correct (like it will be named from the SAP-System) with the Oracle Database Configuration Assistant and deleted it after.
Then it works in my case. - But i can't realy explain why it's working

When I make certain edits (such as changing to black and white), then click "Save As", then choose JPG file type and "save", I am unable to view the image in Windows or even to open it back up in Photoshop Elements (if I try to open back up in PSE, I get a message saying it can't be opened b/c it is the wrong type of file). If I hover over the image in Windows, it is listed as "Type: File" instead of "Type JPEG image" even though I saved it as a JPG file.
I have tried checking (or unchecking) the boxes saying "Save as Copy", "ICC File", "Save as version set", "Save lower case extension" and nothing has worked.
Help!!!!!! I am so frustrated and ready to throw PSE away and never buy a Photoshop product again!!!!are you working on a raw image ?

Help! Using Logic 8 on a college network - students saving their projects to their own area on the network. Logic 7 was fine. Logic 8 says 'Document could not be saved' when we try to save.
Also getting message 'File could not be opened' on launching Logic - set in preferences to load our default template. Again, Logic 7 was fine loading the Autoload.Try to reset the hard-router for 40 seconds,power cycle the router and try again...Also,reduce the MTU size on the router to 1365.

Does anyone have an ISO or disc for HP w2558hc monitor? HP doesn't think they need to support an old 2008 $500+ monitor anymore!
I am sorry, an ISO is just an image file for a disc. Since I am looking for the install and software disc for this monitor, w2558hc,. If I can't get a disc, the next best thing is an image of this disc. The most popular image files are ISO's. There are better ones, but less used. This monitor has a memory card reader, USB hub, web cam, and Microphone all built in to a 25.5 inch monitor. It also has a remote control to work with a lot of these features. I checked the remote has a optical signal, but I can't get it to work with the monitor, as well as the web cam. On this installation disc, besides the drivers, are software to work with the camera and remote with the controls to manage slide shows and the like. I think the drivers were on the page that you linked me to, but not the software. So I still can't use the remote control, nor the WebCam. Do you understand why I am after the disc or image thereof? Just select Print in Safari and then, in the bottom left-hand corner, select PDF and you can save it to whichever flavor pdf file you like.

Now every damn PDF I receive or try to open can only be saved in the adobe cloud -- which I have no interest in -- and not on my computer --

I made a dumb decision to 'Erase Free Space' on my drive. I now have no free space, I realize because it wrote 0's over all my free space. Is there a way to undo this??? It's more likely a failed Erase Free Space, which creates a huge temporary file; that's why it looks like you have no more available drive space. You can recover from this. See these links

A year ago I paid to update Pages to 4.1. If I click on a Pages doc on the desktop the old Pages opens up and I can't save my work and so I lose what I do. So for a year I have been remembering to open Pages using the icon on the bottom of the desktop and all is OK. But when my work is being reviewed and resent to me, then I have problems with opening that file and saving those changes. So I have been coping and pasting the resent work to me and putting it into a new doc.
So today wanting to fix this annoying problem and reading something on this forum I went into applications and moved a Pages something that was in Applications into the iwork 09 file. A pop up box asked if I wanted to replace the old Pages with the newer version and I clicked Yes.
Now I can't open up any of my Pages work on the desktop.
I have not shut down my laptop and restarted - would this solve the problem?

Whenever I try to save a file as a PDF, it tells me that it can't save, because the file is open somewhere else. I don't have anything else open. I have also tried different files and they all say the same thing. Help.
Given there are so many problems and removed features in Pages 5, why not just continue using Pages '09?

I can not save any data to external hard drive from my mac pro. Is there anyone can help me in this regard?( note, when i first plug my ext. drive to mac i chose option to backup later)
The device may be formatted for Windows, as NTFS. The format is readable, but not natively writable on a Mac. To write to the device, you must either reformat it (erasing all the contents) or install third-party software to enable write access to NTFS.

Help! I can't save to disc OR backup my iTunes Library! iTunes support instructions are to simply select 'File', then 'Library', then select 'Back Up to Disc', but when I try to the only options that appear are 'Organize Library...', 'Export Library...' then below those are 'Import Playlist...' and 'Export Playlist...' (which appears in the list, but I cannot select). No option to save my library appears at all. Just those four. I've had no problems syncing, playing, adding or purchasing with my account and my iTunes version is up to date. Can anyone tell me what the problem is and what I should do so I can save my library?

HELP: How can I save page state on UIX page...
I have a fallowing situation:
1. I create UIX application with Wizard based on one ViewObject
2. When I get a page with ViewObject in table style I travers up and down through records and make some updates and create new records
3. But when I go back from update and create pages I always get initial browesing page.
My question is: how can I save state of browsing page when I return to it from update and create or any other page (save position look hide/show mode or anything else)?
I try to use StateManager class but I faild.
Can anybody help me or describe how can I do it on one example?

Sounds as though you want to remember the interactive state of your pages across requests.
That means you'll need to store the interactive state of your pages in something like the HttpSession that has a lifecycle spanning across multiple requests.
If you make your pages interactive using the HttpSession, then, when you navigate back from another page, they should still be in the state you left them.
The built-in data provider name for the HttpSession in uiXML is ctrl:httpSession. Use this to data bind the interactive attributes of your page, such as the disclosed attribute of HideShow.
In your event handlers, update the HttpSession to make your page interactive.
Be careful to use different keys to store information in the HttpSession for different pages. -
