HELP! CANNOT SAVE PAGE PROBLEM!

Hi, can anybody tell me how to save a html page generated by document.write? Because when I click on IE's save button it save the page containing the script, instead of the generated page. Pls tell how, thanks.

Help Cannot Save As File

I'm a brand new InDesign user. Have had one class and am expected to do all types of collateral here at work. I've opened files, started designing but when I click Save As, the whole thing freezes up. The only way out is to cancel through the task manager. I have InDesign CS3 running on Microsoft XP. The same thing happens if I try Save As in Photoshop. I am not going to be very effective if I cannot save my work. I am in marketing and not a techie. So if any one could help me without having to know a tremendous amount about program set up it would be greatly appreciated.

Please help, cannot 'save as .jpg'. Safari keeps trying to add .webarchive extension

I was able to right-click an image on the internet last night, click save as and save as a .jpg onto my computer.
But tonight, I'm getting either:
(image) xxxxxxxx.jpg Could not be exported as xxxxxxx.jpg.webarchive
or
Cannot save as xxxxx.jpg, click Both to save as webarchive
Not sure if this has something to do with a setting in Safari that I may have inadvertently changed? or something that may have happened in an update?
I'm doing screen captures as a way to continue working but this is really impacting how quickly I can do my work. Hoping someone out there might know what could be causing this and a way to correct. You'd be saving me big time here..

My solution for cannot turn page problem in ADE

It seems this problem has been there for a while. I have this problem in ADE 2.0 and 3.0. I solve this problem on my computer today.
This problem is not a "turnning page" problem but an UI refresh problem, if you turn page, close ADE and reopen it, you will find the page actually turnned, I guess this problem occurs on a computer which have two display card. On my laptop, a NVIDIA, and an integrated. ADE works fine on NVIDIA and not on the integrated one.
So Here is my solution: Tell ADE not running on the integrated display card but on NVIDIA. You can do so by using NVIDIA's control panel program. "manage 3D settings" -> "program setting" tab, add ADE, and tell it running on NVIDIA.

System: Windows 7; graphics (onboard Motherboard) Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 Properties.
I have the same problem:
ADE does not turn page *unless* I resize the ADE window after turning the page. After resizing the ADE window, the page will turn.
I don't have multiple displays. I don't know how to adjust my display setting to facilitate ADE. Still looking for a solution... If you find a solution or a better product, let us know.

Cannot save pages/numbers/keynote files to server

Since I started using OS Mavericks I have been unable to save documents to our PC Server Win 2008 R2. It always worked with the other Mac OS systems. Even installing the lastest update today did not help.

I just tried this with a Pages document (Pages 5.0), sending with Mail.app (7.0), and Mavericks, with my me.com account, to my verizon.net account, and it worked fine.
Maybe the problem is with the SMTP server you are using, or with your ISP.
I'd try a different SMTP server, and if that doesn't work, maybe call the tech support at your ISP.

Problem with Recruiters recieving any approval notifications for requisitions where the status change is performed by someone logged on as a Restricted Recruiter. <b>The approval notification never appears in the Recruiters approval page, but appreas in Maintenance page...and in the maintanance page i dont see any option to appove the requiistion</b> The Restricted Recruiter is able to submit the request without any problems.
I was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction so that I may begin troubleshooting this.

Im using the Hands On Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Linux. Im in chap06 already p. 218. I just uploaded the SYSMGMT1 script. After that I Clicked the script's icon but I cannot see any SQL DDL commands inside. Nothing happened. It said in the book that I supposed to see and browse the SQL DDL commands that make up the script. I tried to click RUN, nothing happened either. Is there some kind of a bug in my System? Pls. help me because I cannot continue this chapter's exercise if I cannot solve this first problem that I encountered here in chap06. Any help from the guys outhere is really greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, did you ever get a solution to this because I am having exact same problem - I cannot see the scripts if I upload them nor can I type them in from scratch as the area for seeing/editting the script doesn't seem to be accessible.

OS error -43 cannot save pages

Another user asked about OS error -43 and was apparently able to resolve it by changing permissions.
I am having this same trouble on one of my GoLive-created sites, but I have not used a second computer. Specifically, I'm unable to create new pages or save a template HTML page. I did have a computer meltdown some time ago that evidently messed up permissions, which I thought I had corrected by going to the file info. For a while it was working fine, but now when I try to look at file info it says "no XMP found."

After having done that, Mail should be able to save messages on the server, but maybe in a mailbox different from where you want them to be. To fix that, select the desired folder in Mail and choose the appropriate option from Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For.

You could try duplicating the Domain.sites2 file and launch this in iWeb. Delete the last page you edited and try saving. If that doesn't work, undo and try deleting another and so on...
If you can find the problem page you would only have to rebuild it rather than the whole site.
The other possibility is to create a new site on the same domain file and drag each page in turn down to it from the top site and try to save each time.

Thanks Peter but I was not seeking to store with I-Cloud. In fact I never store documents with I-cloud.
I was in fact trying to store the files to Documents, which is where I usually keep such things.
Have now discovered that if I leave the file untiled and simply close it, rather than saving it then it will save, oddly, to Documents. I then have to re-title it and move to the folder I want it in.
Despite the above, even once it is titled and saved in Documents then if I reopen it I still cannot then Export it to a Word or PDF file. I still just get the message . xxxxxx.pages does not exist!
Bad news as I am constantly exporting documents to Word and PDF to send to others who do not use a Mac

Since latest Firefox automatic update, any downloaded jpg is saved as a firefox file and I cannot save as a jpg. Why?? Help please!!

Since the latest FF automatic update - any jpg I send to myself I cannot save as a jpg. This is so frustrating. I use my camera phone to take shots of our library activities and then to make newsletters, website updates etc. Just started this week. Today is the first day I noticed this problem.

You can rename the files and give them a .jpg file extension.
You can force that while saving the file if you add quotes around the name: "image.jpg"

Thanks for the reply ... I was not able to locate the places.sqlite file as described. I did solve the problem by deleting Firefox .. emptying the trash and then I restarted the computer and re-installed a new download of the application. When I completed the clean install everything worked great. I like the new look and features of 8.0.1 and look forward to using it from now on ... Thanks again for trying to help core-el ,,,

Cannot save script generated web page

I found that safari cannot save a script generated page by (File -> Save as). I've written a simple test page as follow:

Does anyone have similar problem before? Is it a bug in safari? Are there any workarounds if I want to save the page?

I guess I'm still not understanding your problem. I took your original script, made the one change as mentioned in my earlier post, and it worked.
It's quite likely/possible that Apple filter javascript embedded in posts - all sorts of nasty things could happen if they didn't, but you're not using Safaro to create your pages, are you?
Just as an example, this seems to do what you describe - copy and paste it into a new text document and see what happens:

If you have iTunes 11 on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar on it via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC - when connected (and if your computer's iTunes is up-to-date) your iPad should then appear on that sidebar under a 'Devices' heading :
If you select the iPad on that sidebar you can then use the Movies tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync that film to your iPad's Videos app.
