HELP! Cant get my Databases panel to work!

I am very new to all this.
I have Dreamweaver CS3 for OSX.
I am using mySQL & phpmy admin from the MAMP site. All installed.
As I am trying to add a order form to one of may pages I have spent the last few days in shock as to how much more difficult dynamic pages are to static pages! It's like starting all over again.
I have managed to grasp that I need mySQL & PHP, just set up a test site & (following instructions from a tutorial book so have all the tutorial files placed in my htdocs root).
Now yesterday I could easily access my Databases panel, but now it's frozen or turned pale, along with my css panel (sorry don't know the correct term!). I managed to somehow access it quickly to set up a php connection by randomly going into "group bindings with/ new panel group" with made the panel separate, the connection was made sucessfully anyway. But when i tried to move the panel to the side it now wont let me do anything with it. Is this normal? I don't understand what I have done, i'm sure it is simple but I have no clue!
I hope someone can help me.

Could it be that I am on a Mac and on a PC you can access these panels without opening a page?
No, the differences between the Mac and PC versions of Dreamweaver are infinitessimal. There were quite a lot of differences several versions ago, but the CS3 versions are almost identical on both platforms. CS4 brings them even closer.
Following tutorials in a book is a good way to learn (at least, I hope it is - I write books about Dreamweaver myself). However, books can take you only so far. You need to start experimenting yourself. I wonder what will happen if I do that? Ooh, that's interesting! Eugh, I'll remember not to do that again...
That's how I learned about Dreamweaver - experimentation. Try it. It's fun, although a bit scary at times.

The helpfulness of answers is limited by the details provided. Just saying it does not work, or I got an error does not provide much to go on. How is it not working? What happens or does not happen? Is an error returned? If so what error. Are you sure you are logging in with your home sharing ID? It is not the same as your Apple ID or iCloud ID.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program

The red is the mask overlay. Turn that off.

You need 10.8.2 on the iMac in order to use the Find My Mac feature of iCloud: iCloud: System requirements.
Note: Although you can use iOS 5 and OS X Lion as noted above, you will not be able to take advantage of some iCloud features, such as Shared Photo Streams, iCloud Tabs, Find My iPhone Lost Mode, and Find My Friends location-based alerts.

I am creating basic Folio's but I cant get none of my Hyperlinks or buttons to work... Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,
Make object for button, select it and press "convert to button" (Buttons and Forms tab). Choose "go to url" action (it is located under tiny plus button) and paste or type in full url with http:// in "URL" field.
Likewise for hyperlinks select text and press "Create new hyperlink" on Hyperlinks panel then paste full url (uncheck "Shared Hyperlink Destination") and press OK.
It should work. Of course if you have Internet connection.
If your links point to pages or articles inside the folio use navto:// instead of http://

Cant get QT 7 Pro to work.

You have to enter both the Pro key and the name that the key was purchased for. It is best to use copy and paste so that you get the exact letters and numbers in these two fields from the Apple email confirmation.

HELP cant get it to get music, frusterated into te

ok, i got it for christmas, and i was realy looking forward to getting it going cause i have an mpc port in my car and i dri've alot, well...you get the drift, either way, i cant get it to work, i tried calling the customer support, but forgot they were closed, and now im stuck, and confused. there was no manual or n e thing on how to work the desktop items (media explorer and organizer, and i never got this toolbar thing they siad would be there) but anyway, i finaly got all of it figured out, got my musick on to thoes programs fine, and then transfered them to wat was supposed to be my zen...i took my zen, and went to go dri've, and realized..there was not music on it, so i pluged it back in, and now it wont prompt the transfer, and so i checked through the computer to see what was actualy on my zen, and it says my songs are on it and its in a playlist, but THEYRE NOT im so confused, dont know how to work the organizer, or explorer, and all i want is my music...can anyone help?

Right it seems we are not alone, i ran a search in the forum - this particular problem with MacPros appears to have been around since February 2008 but none of the posts got a reply so I guess the issue is lying dormant. I'm going to call AppleCare tonight and report it and if they don't have a solution I will be requesting a refund until it's sorted out. After my £4k G5 Quad died for hardware faults just 15 months down the line I'm particularly wary of quality control and don't want to burned twice at this price.

I cant get my Axiom 25 to work with my MacBook in Logic Pro 8. Anyone ?

I have an M-Audio Axiom 25 and I cant get it to work in logic pro 8. Its plugged in... I have a new project open... I have an instrument assigned to a track...when I press the keys on the axiom Logic recognizes it because on the bottom of the window I see the note I'm pressing as well as it's velocity... This is exactly as I do on my roommate's MacBook Pro every day with the same keyboard... But none the less I don't get sound... even if i just click the piano roll... The levels for the track remain at zero all the time... Whereas on my roommate's computer I would be jamming... What is wrong??? PLEASE!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
O Yeah! I tried to download the latest drivers from M-Audio but there website just led to a dead end... And 10.5.1 was there latest version anyway... Can some send me a hyperlink to a location where I can actually download it from??? It would be greatly aprechiated...

According to M-Audio's website you don't need a driver. If you click on the link that they have there this message pops up:
'This device is class compliant and does not require driver support for OS X.'
As for your other problem.....Dunno. Make sure you check the audio device preferences in Logic. Your roommates might be set for that piece but yours might not.

Cant get Apogee Duet/Masetro to work on my brand new MacBook Pro

Alright.. maybe someone can help me here?? I just bought a new 15inch macbook pro, logic pro 9, and a apogee duet interface.
After installing everything, I cannot get the Duet to work at all!! Maestro doesnt pop up when I connect. I have to manually open it...and when I do, there is nothing on the controls...its totally blank, and I cant click on anything. I also cant get my guitar to record in Logic, or find the right inputs...is that because Maestro isnt working right? I assume yes.. anyways...I just want to know how to fix the Duet so it works properly.. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and that did nothing...

It all depends on how long the duet you purchased was sitting on the shelf. But by all means go ahead and ignore the advice you are offered on this forum.

Cant get Fast Track USB to work

HELP!!! Please!!! I just bought the M-Audio USB Fast Track, and I cant get it to work!!! I have an iBook G4, and I wanted to connect my guitar directly to the computer, but the iBook doesnt have an audio-in. The problem, is that I cant get GarageBand to recognize the M-Audio. I already set it as the input audio in the system preferences, but I cant record my guitar and I feel really stupid.
Someone knows what is going on?? Please help me!

Try starting Garage Band, then go to preferences -> audio/midi and setting the fast track as your audio in and out device.
You should quit and restart GB after you do this so it initializes properly.
You will have to plug your speakers into your fast track to monitor your recordings so you might need to buy some cables.

Hi, Check in the plugins for Shockwave Flash plugin and make sure it's Enabled. Also any app like Click-to-Flash or other like apps will keep Flash content blocked, so check that also.

Again the operator CAN create the config file and send as an SMS . This config file contains the correct settings.
You just open the SMS and it auto installs in the phones config bundle
You then boot the phone down and reboot .
It really is simple however many MVNO services can't be a**ed -that why their cheap!
Not in dispute with you on the problem - yes it's the APN defaulting to ATT and being blocked as a non- subscriber. And compounded by the MVNO Sim card not having the correct protocols to view the APN menu item.
