i imam trying to change the credit card information that's on my account every time I do it says contact itunes support.... It says first time I ha used this device to download

- click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column

I purchased a macbook pro but couldnt download apps. Facts:
1. I already have an apple ID with my Ipad, which has my old (prepaid) credit card number and security code as payment information
2. I lost my credit card including all info: card number, expiry, security card. I also didnt store it anywhere else and the CC company doesnt have my security code either because it's a prepaid/loadable card (not a real credit card).
3. I purchased a Macbook Pro and tried putting in new payment info. It didnt push through as it was asking me to key in my lost security code number
4. I opened my ipad and it was asking for the same thing bec my apple ID was accessed elsewhere with the attempt to change my payment info.
5. I couldt download and purchase apps because of this, i havent downloaded pertinent software for my new computer.
Could you please help me resolve this problem?

please help me to change my iTunes payment information.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I am trying to update my credit card information but the system keeps telling me that my payment information "doesn't match your bank's record" when all the information is correct. I have tried changing from my phone, ipad, and computer. No luck. Please help.

First of all, make sure the billing address matches EXACTLY, character for character, with what your bank has on file. For example, ST, st, and Street are not treated the same necessarily. If all else fails, contact your bank to verify the address on file and then give it another go.

I was trying to change my payment information, after all my bill info done, it showed me need to contact itunes support, all the bill information is correct. what should I do? I'm trying to use some in-app purchase. now the in-app purchase is not working. My debit card is working fine.

Hi, I changed my credit card information and after confirming this, I received a confirmation from my Credit Card company that I was charged 1$ (approx). Can someone confirm if this is a valid transaction of this will refund later by Apple?

It's a temporary charge. Each time that you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.

Best Buy's online store is lagging behind other online stores. I can't believe we still don't have a way to change our payment method on Best Buy orders. This should be a given and shouldn't even require discussion or voting. Just do it already, Best Buy. It's 2015. Catch up with your competitors already.

App store wont let me change my payment information

I recently lost my old debit card and now whenever I try to download any app (both free and $ ones) the app store wont let me because its asking for my old security code from my old debit card. I have tried changing my payment informaiton both from my phone and at the apple website but its not letting me. How do i fix this?? Is it even possible to change payment information?

What country are you in ? If you are in the US then you can only use the US iTune store, and you can't use a Canadian credit card with the US store - a credit card needs to have been issued by a bank in the country where you are.
If you are in Canada then remove your old credit card from your account and then update your country/region and billing address on your account e.g. by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and 'view Apple id' on the popup, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
