Help.Check Marks in PPTX Convert to "Ü" when Video is Published

Hello,
Working in Captivate 8, when I publish a project the check marks in the slides covert to "Ü." The presentation was created from a PPTX. Anyone else come across this and able to resolve? The check marks appear correctly in the slides they are on, it's only when published that the check marks are replaced.

I'm using Captivate 5.5 and I am having the same problem when I insert a FLV (a CrazyTalk avatar with embedded narration). I have to insert it as a slide video so that the avatar blends with the background. The avatar video begins when the slide begins. But every slide with this glitches several times as the avatar video plays. The avatar video glitches, kind of stutters, or starts words over. When this happens, I see a quick "Loading..." sign over the avatar video. I have tried lowering the quality of audio/video of the avatar file, but it still glitches.
Also, we just got Captivate 7, and I'm wondering what the process is to insert a slide video in Cp7? It's not in the same menu option as in Cp5.5.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help me. . I checked and the Do not disturb is off. The check is still there stopping calls from coming in when phone is locked. Any other ideas? Thanks again!

Can someone help? Adding a playbar to embedded mp4 video and publishing to html 5

Hi everyone, I am having a hard time finding a solution. I am sure someone MUST have gone through this same challenge.
We have some lessons we want to convert to html 5. These lessons have embedded swfs, which we converted to mp4's. The problem now is that the embedded mp4s do not display with a playbar INSIDE of Captivate when we publish to HTML 5. The videos needs a playbar for users to control what they are seeing on the screen. Any ideas on how I can have the mp4s have a playbar in Captivate?

Thumbnails on my desk top have LARGE check marks mostly covering the picture. I have processed thes picts in Lightroom and Photoshop 11

Opening from my desk top thumbnails have a LARGE checkmark covering most of the picture. I have used both Lightroom and Photoshop 11 to process these picts,

When I open Lightroom and view the thumbnails the check marks are there.
So when you're seeing the check marks, do this:
1. On Mac: Type Shift - Command - 3. This will place a .png screenshot on your desktop.
2. On Windows: Type Windows-Logo - Print Screen (sometimes labeled PrtScr). This will place a .png screenshot in your Pictures\Screenshots.
Come back to this thread in your Web browser to reply -- don't use your email program. Click "Reply" and then click the camera icon at the top of the message window to upload your screenshot.

Check marks when texting

I've recently noticed that when I send texts on my phone to other numbers that are Verizon there is no longer a check mark to confirm that they have received the text. I have a Samsung intensity 2 and its always done the check mark thing before. I was wondering if there was a glitch in the system and or if there is a way to get the check marks back.

Thanks for your response SuzyQ. EileenM what is the current software version on the device? The device software may need to be updated. The most current software version is VN530ZV8. To view and update your software version, please follow the instructions below:
View Software Version
1. From the main screen, press OK [ Menu].
2. Scroll to Settings&Tools, press OK.
3. Scroll to Phone Info, press OK.
4. Scroll to SW/HW Version, press OK.
Update Software Version
1. With flip open, from the main screen, press OK [ Menu]
2. Press Settings & Tools, press OK
3. Press Phone Info, press OK
4. Scroll to Software Update, press OK
5. Select Check New, press OK

Just wanted to report this. I have not checked to see if it has been previously submitted. The issue
is intermittent.

I think this happens because you need to send e-mail when you do the first contact with the user. Tellimg him who you are and etc.
When you already "know" that user, u can check the box.

Welcome to the support forums!
The error you are seeing is normal, all it means is that the list will be truncated meaning you will not be able to see the full list of people in the CC field but you can add more and it will send the message to all of them.

No, I do not mean just the music. Copying just the media/music files or the media folder creates problems.

I have an iphone 3gs, when I try to connect to my home wi-fi the phone goes thru the motions, finds the network but can't lock it in. The check mark next to the network flashes a few times then the phone goes serching again and the same thing happens.

SOLUTION!
I've been suffering from this problem for a few months. I tried everything suggested by everyone, and then, today, I had a mad idea.
I used to work in a room in the house that's about 12 metres away from the router. It's on the next storey up and horizontally about 8 metres away. The problem started when I began to work in the same room as the router.
Today I became so frustrated that for some reason I walked into a room about 8 metres away on the same level - Guess what? I connected with no problem at all. Feeling full of joy I walked back to the room where the router is located - Dropped internet connection within a few minutes! Walked back to the the room that's 8 metres away and, hey presto! I have a connection. I now realise that the problem was that I moved too close to the router.
I can think of no logical explanation for my experience, but empirically it seems to work. Does anyone have the faintest idea of why this should be the case? In the absence of an answer I think I may have to start believing in fairies at the bottom of the garden - I'm just off to set a meal for them.
By the way, I don't know if it has any significance, but the router is a BT Infinity router that has replaced the incredibly unreliable Virgin Media cable connection

What browser are you using? Try clearing the cache, or using a different browser. N/A
Are you converting from within Reader, or directly via the ExportPDF website. Within Reader.I disabled the OCR and this did not work either. Try converting from within Reader, and disable OCR as detailed in this document: How to disable Optical Character Recognition (OCR) when converting PDF to Word or Excel.
Are you on a networked computer? Make sure that there aren't any firewall/proxy settings that are preventing you from uploading files to the Internet. Not having problems uploading the file--that works fine.
Make sure the file is within the file-size limit of 100 MB. It is <40.
I get the error message, "File failed to be converted using Adobe ExportPDF online."

Ok so I've done what you said and this is what it's come back ....
I don't know that these are the errors , but they're the things which don't look right ...
Throughout the shut down there is a recurring line ;
It says ;
Com.apple.launchd 1 0x100600e70.anonymous.unmount 301 PID still valid
Then there are 2 more which I think are related ;
Com.apple.securityd 29 PID job has I overstayed its welcome , forcing removal.
Then the same with fseventd 48 and diskarbitrationd 13
Oh and on Launchd1 : System : stray anonymous job at shut down : PID 301 PPID13 PGID 13 unmount...
Then the last process says "about to call: reboot (RB_AUTOBOOT).
Continuing...
And stops ...

Are you saying that the tick-box shown in my screenshot, isn't there? (Yes, this is iTunes 11 - I've turned on the sidebar and the Menu bar. So you can see, this is a CD in my drive that we're looking at.)
If it isn't, go to Edit/Preferences/General and turn on the tick-box box
You can show the Menu Bar (with Edit on it) by using CTRL + B
