Help Choosing specific image for a button - slider not precise enough!
I am using an image from my movie as a menu button. The slider is not giving me enough precision to seleect the image I want. It seems to move a few frames at a time. Is there anyway to make the slider more precise as it scrolls through the movie?
Power Mac G4 Mac OS X (10.3.9) Dual 867MHz 1.25 GB DDR SDRAM
I've tried the arrow keys but that moves the cursor either to the very beginning of the movie, to the middle or to the end. I also tried arrow keys with option. control and command keys pressed down.
There must be a more precise way of locating the still image for the menu button. Perhaps I could go back to final cut, creat a still image and import that as the menu button...but it seems like there must be a simpler solution within iDVD. Help.

Providing image for Standard Buttons on Application Forms
I've seen some postings on changing the standard buttons used in forms. Does anyone know if this has changed at all in Release 2? I want to put my own image for a button instead of the standard gray button and before doing the workarounds recommended, I want to know if this has been addressed in the new release.

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on exactly what you are asking. If you are talking about changing to or using a different Apple ID in Game Center, you may find the following article helpful:
Sign in to your Game Center account using your Apple ID. If you don't have an Apple ID or another Apple account, tap or click Create New Account to create an account to use with Game Center.
You can change the account you are signed into by:
iOS: Tap Settings > Game Center.

Guess what? After posting, I read another thread on this topic where someone said they went to an Apple store and the tech person there added the optional username and password in the Outgoing Mail Server boxes, and then reset the phone again. Although I had tried resetting and restarting a few times today, I had NOT reset it after entering the username and password into the optional fields.
When I entered my username and password into the optional fields, the iPhone entered checks (ticks) to the right of every entry; it had not done this earlier. (I didn't reset at this time, and the outgoing mail would still not transmit).
So just now, I reset it and the outgoing email was sent!
Thanks to you and this forum, it's a great ending to a few frustrating days.
I hope this message helps others. Not only does everything have to be entered correctly in the respective boxes; but once everything is entered and you press the "Done" button, every box should then have a check mark next to it and then you must reset the phone. -

Help creating rasterized images for all level 1 toc for epub ebook
I am creating an ebook (epub) for a course that I had previously made in iBooks Author, but iBA files do not open on iPhones. So I have decided to recreate it as an epub 2.0.1 in InDesign. There are 2 levels to my Table of Contents, each week and then multiple pages underneath each of the 9 different weeks. I am creating essentially an intro cover image for each week, so when you click on "week 1" in the toc it directs you to a "rasterized image" discussing what each student will be learning in that specific week. I've tried so many different ways but I still haven't gotten it to work the way I want. The rasterized intro cover image shows up in the book, but usually adds another blank page after it, and sometimes I can get it to show up in the toc in level 1 and sometimes it disappears. I get confused on whether it should be a paragraph style with the export tagging "split document (epub only)", or changing the objects export options. Ultimately, I feel like I've tried a combination of everything and confused myself even more. I haven't found any information on anyone executing this before, so even if anyone knows any links to help me or if anyone has done this before, your help would be appreciated!
I hope this makes sense, because honestly I don't even know what to call these rasterized intro cover pages for each week (let alone what to search for), Colin Fleming from Adobe InDesign calls the cover pages "title images" so maybe that is a more appropriate name, however I don't want these images at the beggining of the book, I want them spread out before each week.I would check out the website of Elizabeth Castro. Quite likely, this cannot be exported directly from InDesign but will have to be done by editing the CSS after you've exported the EPUB so I hope you're good at HTML/CSS. -
I am trying to create a spry menu that has 5 buttons and each button will have 3 different images for each state (something like this http://jjcstudios.com/woof_wallet/ ) I was going to use the insert > navigation bar but I read that this method creates a lot of extra javascript and they recommended using Spry instead. Can anyone point me in a direction to create a clean method of doing java rollovers or modifying the spry menu so it will work as a rollover. thanks john

In your page place the following in between the <head></head> tags

to link the Javascript.
If you want to put menu.js in a different folder, make sure you adjust the link accordingly, like "js/menu.js"

1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -
Gif images for iconic button?anybody met success
I have done everything what is specified in the doc i.e added the lineof code for app.iconpath and referred the same in the HTML FOR cartridge in serverApp param
and also in the cartridge parameters but the result no the buttons just stare balank at me.
Instead i tried to replace the buttons with the 1k,2k size gif images oops! Oracle Developer server can't even take a byte of
image files and the application hangs searching for the file.
Why can anyone who has met with success please tell me how?

How to fill an 8x10 page with the same image for making buttons?
How do you make a button template using the grid? How do you import the image onto that, and how do you fill an entire page with the same image ie- 1" circles
I'm trying to do the same thing but I want 1" squares. I just upgraded from Elements 6 and I did this
quite often for pendant necklaces. I used to go and print individual prints, but the previous options are not there. ;(
And the picture package is only showing 20 (2x2) as being the smallest size. I don't see a custom button.
Can anyone tell me how to do this? We're doing these for a fundraiser and I can't even print anymore.

My trailers are in German even though I chose English as UI language. I cannot watch the trailers in original language English. This is very annoying. How can I ban German language completely from my iPad?

MM02 Purchase Order text display only
We have transaction variants with screen variants set up for transaction MM02 and want to make the purchase order text display only. This does not seem possible with transaction variants as the display only is greyed out for the purchase order text.
