Help converting 72dpi collage to 300dpi

Hi,
I made a collage, intially intended for the web. I made some
modifications in paint because i was new on photoshop elements, and
figured it's just for web use no big deal. Now the collage I made
is needed for print use, the collage was saved as a jpg and is one
file. I have converted the jpg to psd, but cannot figure out a way
to modify image size to 300 dpi. If it is possible how do i do it
in Photoshop elements? Will it actually hurt the quality when it
goes to print?

The number of pixels the image has are what will determine
its quality. Changing the "resolution" to 300 won't change anything
about the image.
If your image is "big enough" to print at the size you want
at the resolution of the intended output device, then great. If
not, then changing the document from 72 to 300 dpi won't change the
image at all. You can't add pixels to it to make it print better.

Here it is in 8.2, though once you see it, I think you will find it would be easier to just use Read From Spreadsheet File.

Download helper converts to .flv instead of .avi

since a few months when downloading a video from the same source, the download helper converts to .flv and no longer to.avi.
what do I need to do to have .avi?
Even if it downloads as .avi, it converts automatically to .flv .

The first thing that you need to consider is whether or not
this project
will work well on the web. If you have to make a bunch of
compromises to
get it working on the web, then it may not represent you
well.
That said, you can use FLVs in Director MX 2004 with the
latest updates.
However, you can't stream the FLVs, you have to encapsulate
each one in
an SWF and then use the SWF. So if its the streaming that
you're after,
you may want to use QT instead. You can stream that.
Regardless of the video media that you use, you need to be
sure that you
aren't taking a smooth CD based experience and turning it
into a click
and wait, click and wait, less than elegant web experience.
If you want
to showcase your video capabilities then you may want to
build a web
specific tool. Or, you may want to let site visitors request
a CD to be
mailed to them.

Need help converting Client-Server to JSP

Hi;
I have a purely data driven, dynamic, meta driven program
in Java 1.4. Runs on almost any SQL database, and the
systems analysts can do most of the programming just by
entering the data. All screens and sql are auto-genned
at runtime.
I was wondering if there was anyone interested in helping
convert to JSP. I would be willing to give part of the
company profits. It is better then me asking a million
questions here, although there are lots of great experts here.

Help converting a raw image to JPG at 300dpi

Please help I have always used PS to edit my raw images. I am now using elements. I noticed that when I converted all my DNG files to JPS it saved them at 240 dpi is there anyway to change them?

You can use Process Multiple Files to change the resolution on a folder full of images.
1. File > Process Multiple Files
2. Select your Source folder (select a different location if you don't want to overwrite your originals, otherwise just click the Same as Source option).
3. Check the "Resize Images" box under Image Size.
4. Leave Width and Height blank and select 300 from the Resolution drop-down.
5. Leave all other options blank and click OK.

Help converting .wma to iTunes on a Mac.

I need help in converting thousands of .wma tracks to iTunes on my new MacBook Pro. Can anyone help me with this problem. I have a desktop at home which is IBM and my laptop is now Mac.

iTunes for Windows can import WMA files, but the Mac version of iTunes does not have that feature. If you can get the files onto your PC, just add them to iTunes (using Add Folder to Library or drag them in), and iTunes will import them automatically and save the new files to your Music folder. Do you have an iPod or other external hard disk you can use? That makes this process much easier.

I am a beginner at Final Cut Pro. I have mpeg-2 video footage that I am trying to import the footage into Final cut, but can't. I understand I need to convert the file format. I am unfamiliar with how to go about the converding file formats and the codec what is the best way to go about converting the file format so I can edit it on Final cut pro?

Where did the files originate? (How were they created?)
Some formats can be brought in with the help of plug-ins.
MPEG Streamclip can usually convert them to Quick Time.

Help converting a driver to version 6.1

The instrument driver network has a Keithley 220 driver for LabVIEW 7.0/8.0 but I have version 6.1. I attached the driver to this message. Is it possible to convert it so it will work with version 6.1? Thanks for any help.
I could use a driver for the Keithley 181 too, but I only found a LabWindows/CVI driver for it, so I assume that it can't easily be converted to LabVIEW and I didn't attach it. If I'm wrong about that though, let me know.

I paid to have the ability to convert a PDF document to a Word document. When I click on "convert" the area turns gray, and nothing happens. Once before, the document converted, but it did not come out the same. For example, the charts did not convert at all. Any help will be appreciated.

Help converting pages document with images over to a 300 dpi jpg file

I'm pretty new to using Pages. I have created a 4 page Pages document with a lot of iphoto images. It's for a elementary school yearbook. The publisher ulitmately needs a 300 dpi jpg file.
How do I convert the pages document into a 300 dpi jpg?
I tried to convert it first to a pdf then to a 300 dpi jpg but when I sent that file over, they said that when they zoomed in, the images all looked blurry.
Any ideas on what to do without having to start all over again? Worst case, I guess I can print out in best quality, scan and save as jpg but there's got to be an easier way.
I'm not a graphic designer, just trying to fuddle my way through so you'll have to go easy on me with the techno speak. Any cliff notes for mac beginners?

The conversion isn't perfect between Pages and Word. The same font is handle differently in the two applications and so are many other things too. If you are concerned about how it looks use Pdf versions instead.

Help with photo collage in Elements 10

I am new to Photoshop Elements 10. I am trying to create a photo collage, but a window pops up saying "Valid size not available for this creation". Can someone help me fix this so I can create??

You can select the layout-horizontal or vertical while choosing a theme for the collage. As you select the theme in Photo collage dialog, it shows the size as x*y inches or y*x inches which decides whether your collage would be portrait or landscape.
