Help!Create Aggregates For Cube 0C_C03 Ocurs Eror

When I create a aggregate for cube 0ic_c03, and fixed value to characteristic '0PLANT', Error occurs as following: ,how can I do?
'acna': InfoCube '0IC_C03 contains non-cumulatives: Ref. char. 0PLANT not summarized
Message no. RSDD430
Diagnosis
InfoCube 0IC_C03 contains key figures that display non-cumulative values. The non-cumulative values, however, can only be correctly calculated, if the aggregate contains all characteristic values of the reference characteristics (the characteristics for the time slice).
System response
The aggregation level was set to 'not aggregated' for the reference characteristics.

Hi Shangfu,
Info cube 0IC_C03 consists of non-cumulative key figures which means breifly the values are aggregated in run-time based on Time characteristics.
Include time characteristics "0CALDAY" as part of the aggregate in addition to "0PLANT" object to avoid this problem.
There are many OSS Notes explaining the purpose and usage of Non-cumulative key figures.

  • Aggregates for cube

    HI,
    How can we goahead for creating Aggregates for cube.
    IF large amount of data in cube or any other cases.
    Reg,
    Paiva

    Hi,
    An aggregate is a materialized, aggregated view of the data in an InfoCube. In an aggregate, the dataset of an InfoCube is saved redundantly and persistently in a consolidated form into the database.
    Advantages: It speeds up the query performance because the query when executed first looks at the aggregate for data. If the data is not found it is then that the data from cube is fetched.
    Disadvantage:We need to maintain the aggregates each time a data load is done. The aggregate occupies space on the database.
    To go or not to go for aggregates primarily depends on the query performance. If the query performance is good and the response time is goodthen the aggregates are not needed.

  • Aggregates for Cubes in Production

    Hi,
    My client has a few cubes in the production system that they would like to improve performance in. I was planing to build aggregates for them. Is it okay to build aggregates for Cubes already in the Production System, do i have to do anything before i transport the aggregates in the Production system (such as delete all data from Production)?
    Thanks

    Hi Dave,
    Dependant on your Prod rights, you should be able to do it directly on the PROD box.
    In most cases you would start of with looking at aggregate proposals from the system. With DEV data this would most likely never apply to PROD as well, as the one is test and the other live data.
    Most clients always apply directly in PROD. You don`t need to reload or delete data. Just fill the created aggregates manually before the batch runs at night for safety sake...
    And don`t collapse as yet! You could always delete the aggregates...but having the collapse set on as well, compressed data can not be altered or reverted on if required after wards.

  • How to create infopackage for Cube to Cune to transaction

    HI Experts
    I have performed following steps for cube to cube load.
    1. Created source cube and loaded the data from R3
    2. Created Destination cube
    3. Generated Export Data source for the source cube. Here I'm able to see my datasource Icon(8ZFIGL_C01). When I double click on that it is give details.
    4. Defined the update rules for Destiination cube by assiging the infosource (8ZFIGL_C01) which is created in step3.
    5.Now I'm searching for the infosurce (8ZFIGL_C01) in data modelling -> infosource.  its not showing up any name with 8ZFIGL_C01.
    Kindly let me know how to create infopackage for this to laod the data from cube to cube.
    Additional information:
    I have set the optopn Display Generated Object in Settings.

  • Can't create DTP for cube migrated from business content to 2004s

    I am in the process of converting 3.5 Business Content InfoProviders to the new model for 2004s.
    Master data was not a problem, but I’m having a hard time getting InfoCubes to migrate.
    I installed 0PUR_C03 from Business Content and replicated the DataSource into the Data Warehouse.
    I right-clicked 2LIS_02_S013, selected Additional Functions, then chose “Transformation erzeugen” (a.k.a. Create Transformation in English).
    The transformation is generated with no errors and it was activated.  The DataSource is migrated automatically in the process.
    Then, I went to add the Data Transfer Process and that is where I got stuck.
    I right-clicked the cube and took Create DTP.  For source type, I selected datasource.  A dialog box then shows the objects associated with the cube, including the converted infosource, but nothing is highlighted for me to choose from, and I can’t complete the process of creating the DTP.
    Can anyone tell me where I might have gone wrong?

    u got it...

  • Aperture Workflow - need help creating workflow for photo management

    Hi -
    I currently shoot with a Canon SD890 (point & shoot) and a Nikon D300 (SLR). My photography is either personal photography or street photography. I may use some of my photography for a web project but that should not be considered right now. I shoot jpegs with the SD890 and RAW with the D300. I need to create a workflow that will allow me to manage all of my photos as well as the RAW vs JPEG aspect. Here are a few initial questions:
    1) Should I separate the RAW and JPEGs in Aperture (two libraries)? One library for finished photos and one for negatives?
    2) What folder structure should I use? Since I am not a professional photographer, I won't be shooting projects. I think something date or event driven would be best (preferably both).
    I am interested to hear how others do this...especially if you use both point & shoot and SLR cameras.
    Thanks for your help!

    No, use a single Library. Aperture will have no problems with the various formats or with various different cameras.
    2) What folder structure should I use? Since I am not a professional photographer, I won't be shooting projects. I think something date or event driven would be best (preferably both).
    Actually those date or event driven batches of images are very logically "Projects" in Aperture. Simply name each group of images as you import into AP as a new Project.
    IMO it is not good to import camera-to-Aperture (or direct to any app other than the Finder). Best is to use a card reader and use the Finder to copy images from the camera card to a folder on the computer hard drive.
    Below is my Referenced-Masters workflow:
    • Remove the CF card from the camera and insert it into a CF card reader. Faster readers and cards are preferable.
    • Finder-copy images from CF to a labeled folder on the intended permanent Masters location hard drive. I label that folder with the Project name suffixed with _masters, that way I can always find the Masters if Aperture forgets where they are.
    • Eject CF.
    • Burn backup copies of the original images to DVDs or to hard drives (optional backup step).
    • Eject backup DVDs/hard drives (optional backup step).
    • From within Aperture, import images from the hard drive folder into Aperture selecting "Store files in their current location."
    • Review pix for completeness (e.g. a 500-pic shoot has 500 valid images showing).
    • Reformat CF in camera, and archive DVDs of originals off site.
    Note that the "eject" steps above are important in order to avoid mistakenly working on removable media.
    I strongly recommend that every Aperture user spend $35 and work through the tutorial CD Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2 (Apple Pro Training Series) by Ben Long, Richard Harrington, and Orlando Luna (Paperback - May 8, 2008), Amazon.com. Note that the value is in working the tutorial, not in using the book as a manual.
    Good luck!

  • Need help creating actionListener for an array of text fields

    I am working on a school project, so I am very new to Java. I have a program which is basically a unit converter. Each unit type has its own tab. I was able to dynamically create text fields in each tab and now I need to add actionListener to each of those text fields. Probelm is, the text fields are not really unique. I guess they're only unique within their tab. So now I am having difficulty referring to my text fields. Variables only have scope in the method (or block) in which they are created. That means if you create a variable in one function, you can't use it in another.
    If you want to use a variable in two different functions, you have to make it a member variable.

  • Help create VLAN for home use.

    I use Cisco switch SG300 and SG200 series. I set my home network as attach picture.
    I want set up VLAN with these condition
    1.Every port can connect to internet through ADSL router.
    2.VLAN10( Home alarm and IP camera ) can access by internat, connect by access point and PC file server
    3.Every port can connect the PC file server
    I am new for network and fail to try setup myself and not understand static route.
    Thank you.
    Jarey
    [email protected]

    Hi Jarey,
    Are you sure you want to do this on the switch as opposed to the router? Are you going to use static IP addresses for the vlans or do you want your router to issue DHCP?
    To proceed, using the switch for inter-vlan routing, make sure the SG300 is in layer 3 mode.
    1. If you are currently in layer 2 mode, open a CLI connection and issue command:
    set system mode router
    Take note that this will delete your current config and the switch will reboot.
    2.  Create the vlans on your switch under VLAN Management -> create vlan
    3. Go to IP Configuration -> ipv4 interface and assign each vlan a static IP for the switch in the subnet for the new vlan
    4. Vlan Management -> Interface settings. I would leave all the ports as trunk ports, or change the ports to trunk if you have previously changed them.
    5. Vlan Management -> Port VLAN membership. Assign your vlans to the appropriate ports.
    6. When everything is all plugged in, you should be able to see the switch created static routes for you already under IP Configuration -> IPV4 static routes. Make sure all your subnets are there and are showing route type local
    7. You may need to add a route such as 0.0.0.0 with the next hop being your router
    At this point, you should be up and running, with all vlans connected to each other and to the internet.
    If you want to restrict access across the vlans, you'll have to create access control lists.
    You need to first create an ACL (Access control -> IPV4 based ACL) and give it a name. then go over to IPV4 based ACE where you put the actual access control rules.
    This is a sample set of rules I made, it will block all access between two subnets (each vlan you created above will have to be its own subnet) and allow certain traffic such as 3389 - remote desktop, etc. You'll need to customize based upon your needs and subnet IPs. So for ex, to allow the Xboxes to access the file server, rather than any - any, you put the xbox subnet or specific IPs as the source, the file server as the destination, and the ports used as source ports. Remember to make the converse of the rule as well.
    Then, go to Access Control -> ACL bindings and bind the access control list to the applicable ports.
    Hope that helps, good luck with your set up.
    Best,
    David

  • Need help creating script for specific instance

    I am having trouble coming up with a working script for this part of the pricing form I am editing. I am trying to get the calculation fields to the right to change and populate in the respective field based on the selection in the Material Type dropdown. Would it be less of a headache if I made another text field to calculate the LE versions separately instead of trying to merge them into one field? I have attached screenshots below to give you an example of what I'm working with. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
    Script I'm tinkering with at the moment:
    //Dropdown37 = Quantity Field
    //Type of Door IB = Material Type dropdown
    var x = this.getField("Type of Door IB").value;
    if ( x = 1468 ) event.value = x * this.getField("Dropdown37").value;
    if (x = 1202) event.value = x * this.getField("Dropdown37").value;
    else event.value = 0;

    The comparison operator in JS is "==", so change this line:
    if ( x = 1468 )
    To this:
    if ( x == 1468 )
    (as well as the other if-statement).

  • Need help creating URL for getImage

    In the following code example, I get an error when javac compiling. I need help, because I cannot determine what is wrong. "....." denotes extraneous code removed for readability.
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.io.*;
    import java.applet.*;
    import java.net.*;
    public class testapp extends java.applet.Applet implements java.lang.Runnable
    public static void main(String[] argv)
    .
    public void init()
    Toolkit toolkit = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
    Image image1 = toolkit.getImage("imageFile.gif");
    Image image2 = toolkit.getImage( new URL("http://java.sun.com/graphics/people.gif"));

    javac reports:
    unreported exception java.net.MalformedURLException; must be caught or declared to be thrown
    Image image2 = toolkit.getImage( new URL ("http://java.sun.com/graphics/people.gif"));
    ................................................^

    With this recommended code:
    ===================
    try {  Image image2 = toolkit.getImage( new URL  ("http://java.sun.com/graphics/people.gif"));}catch(MalformURLExceptione){System.out.println("Error"); }
    ======================
    it now compiles ok, but when I access the page through the browser, I get "applet not initialized" and the page times out.
    With the lines commented out, the page loads.
    What does this tell us:
    - all we have done is mask a problem that the compiler previously highlighted.
    But what is the problem?
    As far as I can tell, the code is exact copies from the examples posted online.
    Where should System.out.println("Error"); be displayed? I can't find it. There might be a clue in the error message.

  • Help on Creating Aggregates on MultiProvider

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to create aggregates on MultiProvider or its possible in Basic Cubes Only. please suggest with that? some document i go through You do not have to create aggregates for MultiCubes.
    regards
    babu

    magesh,
    aggregates on multiprovider would mean separate aggregates on the constituent cubes / ODS...
    Go to the cube and select propose aggregate from query and select your multiprovider query - use the aggregate(s) proposed for the same....
    When running the query on multiprovider , the agregates on the constituent cubes will be used...

  • What are the guidelines for creating aggregates?

    Hi Everyone,
    I am required to create aggregates for an infoprovider.
    On what guidelines and criterias should I determine how many aggregates to create and what characteristics should be included in the aggregates?
    For example if i have 5 queries created for this infoprovider and the selection inputs for each query is different. The number of characteristics displayed in the query is also different.
    Does it mean I should have 5 different aggregates for this infoprovider?
    Thanks.

    take a look ppt and e-learning on aggregate

    you may not need 5 aggregates
    Tips for Building (and Maintaining) Good Aggregates:
    -Relatively small compared to parent InfoCube
    -Try for summarization ratios of 10 or higher
    -Not too specific, not too general –should serve many different query navigations
    try to combine characteristics used in query and check the summarization ratio and get the best combination,
    e.g aggregate contains char1, char2 have good ratio
    and char3,char4 and char5 have another good ratio,
    then you just need 2 aggregates.
    hope this helps.

  • Aggregates for master data & Line item Dimension

    Hi i have question
    1     Can we create Aggregate for Master Data?
    2     Can we create Aggregate with Navigational Attributes?
    3     Can we create Aggregate with Line Item Dimension?
    4     How many dimension we can add with how many characteristics in it if we create a new Aggregate

    1 Can we create Aggregate for Master Data? - <b>No</b>
    2 Can we create Aggregate with Navigational Attributes? - <b>No</b>
    3 Can we create Aggregate with Line Item Dimension? - <b>No</b>
    4 How many dimension we can add with how many characteristics in it if we create a new Aggregate - <b>You can create a maximum of 13 dimensions in the cube.You can add as many characteristics for an aggregate,adding many characteristics in the aggregate is as good as having the query fetch data from the Cube instead of the aggregates.</b>
    Aggregates are subsets infocubes derived from the main InfoCube to increase the query performance.You can create as many aggregates you want in an InfoCube.
    For each aggregate,internally dimensions are created based on the selected characteristics.

  • Aggregates in CUBES

    Hi,
    Im trying to create aggregates in Cubes. I right click and go under "Maintain aggregates" . I choose the option for the system to generate them for me, when i do that a window pops up " SPECIFY STATISTICS DATA EVALUATION" what dates am i supposed to put in there for "FROM" im putting todays date, and for  "TO" do i put 12/31/9999 ? What is this for?
    Also what can i do to improve a DSO's performance?
    Thanks

    Hi............
    Do you have secondary indexes on your ODS?
    As mentioned above.........that will be the best way............
    I think you want to improve DSO performance to improve query performance...........if so......its a good way to proceed would be to have your reporting based on the InfoCube, or MultiProviders based on these InfoCubes .
    But this will be a bit of development work, and you will have to move the queries from the ODS to Cubes, deal with workbooks etc.
    Then you can also create aggregates..........because you cannot create aggregates on ODS........
    Check OSS Note 444287
    Using ODS will be performance hit in terms of Activation Time , Report Excution Time ( Tabular Reporting ) . Better to load the data from these ODS to Indiviual Cubes .......and then create a multiprovider of them and then report out from multiprovider . Since reporting from Multi-dimensional Structure is faster than Flat table reporting...
