HELP! CREATIVE SB PCI / ENSONIQ ES 5880 SOUND CARD DRIVER NEE

I have flahed the bios of my motherboard and since that , each time i start my computer running windows 98 SE it ask for the driver of the sound card referenced :
CREATIVE SB PCI / ENSONIQ ES 5880
Could someone give me the driver of this card or tell me how to make WINDOWS 98 SE don't ask about the driver anymore.
The sound seems to functionnate and the card is still installed.

i have un-installed wmp0
and installed the OEM-cd for my dvd-burner
media player included with this player from
Nero burning OEM the music and windows XP
sounds are better than with wmp0 but
i can browse trough website's now and normaly
move the mouse without any sound incorrection
thanks i go upgrade a.s.a.p my sound card device
any suggestions ?

I have just installed Premier Pro CS3 on a brand new PC. I am a new user and I am receiving a message "The installed sound card driver does not support direct sound input".
PC is a 3 GHZ Intel Duo
4 G RAM
2 x 500 G HD
Windows Home Vista Preminum
I am sure it is a simple fix and really appreciate any one given me the time or guidance to help get me started.

Driver Version 6.0.1.5408
It was shipped with this Dell PC.
I checked the driver was up to date etc. So not sure what to do now.

i newly bought HP G61 408CA notebook which came with windows 7. I had to downgrade it to windows XP.

i have installed sp42126 which worked just fine. Then i tried to install "the CQ60/70 and G60/70 with Conexant Pebble"
but it said " driver installation failed. Could not find the media device for this driver"
Now what should i do?

Since you downgrade your laptop to xp, drivers are not installed properly, if you check on our website and choosed xp for the operating system, driver are limited, I suggest to return computer to its original factory condition, might wanna consider ordering the recovery disc if you did not create one

Sound card driver corrupted

I have a Pavilion dv 600 laptop. i reinstalled sound card driver as skype install removed or corrupted my working sound card driver. i uninstalled skype. i reinstalled the driver for audio that was originally installed. now, sound only comes from speakers when starting up windows but not for applications that provide sound like music or anything else. Is there something i need to do other than reinstall sound card driver?

Sound card driver is not installed properly whatever I do

I have a new hp pavilion dv6-1215ee just bought it last week and it has a problem with its sound card driver :
I have 2 run the setup that installs the driver every once in a while if I don't then no voice comes of the speakers at all and when I run the media player it puts that red x sign on the voice file, say that there is a problem and gives a link 2 a troubleshooter on the net . Even if I reinstall the driver the next time I open the computer it is the same all over again .
so what do u think ?

You are using now 6.10.6159.0 D (SP43935.exe) version? Right?
So uninstall Your audio drivers and try to install previous version 6.10.6087.60 C from here.

Satellite 2800-400 sound card driver problem with XP-SP2

I have upgraded my Satellite 2800-400 to XP-SP2 and my sound card driver does aperently not work with SP2. I have downloaded the latest driver that I can find and that is 5.12.1.5245 from 2002, but this driver does not work together with the program Skype. I get a massage that the sound card driver does not suport SP2.
How can I solve this problem without deleting the SP2 upgrade.

I have tried both drivers and the same problem ocurs.
After ecessive testing I have found out that everything/skype now works well for 1-2 hours. Then sudenly my compter does something (I do not now what, and I can not se that the computer does anything) and then sudenly Skype starts beeing blocked by SP2. At the same time (same minute) that Skype after 1-2 hours of perfec running sudenly is beeing blocked, my computer somehow have loaded a file named kernel32.dll for the second time. How i found out this is just a coinsidence, no errors indicates this file beeing involved and this is maybe normal. The file is located at C/Windows/system32/kernel32.dll. Do you know what my comuter does after this amount of time and why it loads this file for a second time. When I turn on my comuter the file is loaded and that is logical, but after 1-2 hours what is the logic for the computer to load it again. Is this something I can shutt off?
My computer runs perfect and smoth for 1-2 hours, then I beliwe the whole system32 is loaded again and this causes some kind of problen and makes the SP 2 kick in.
Any advice?

PowerBook G5 keeps loosing the sound card driver

My PowerBook G5 keeps loosing the sound card driver as the controls keep disappearing in system preferences. It seems boot related as once on ok, stays on till shut down or re-start

After multiple attempt at almost every firewire and peripheral configuration possible I think I've narrowed this down to the iSight in the 400Mb firewire port. No iSight no sound card problem. Still would like to use my iSight though, I have enough ornaments to celebrate the IT evolution

Creative audio pci ensoniq (es1371)(es1373) problems for win 2k

i have a problem...my card is in and i have a driver that is signed by microsoft and everything but when i try to play any sound it just is silent

No sound from ES37 Creative Audio PCI after resuming from Standby. Running Win2K Pro.
Restarting allows audio to play normally. Checked drivers after rebooting and after resuming from Standby: no differences in driver listed in the Settings/Sounds and Multimedia/etc. Any ideas?

Creative WaveStudio won't record from sound card anym

So I had this sweet system going, where I'd play something, and record it at the same time using Creative WaveStudio. It worked great for converting ogg to mp3 and suchnot. The problem started when I opened a file, and zoomed in on a section to edit it. When I tried to record something again, nothing. Total silence. I've changed all the settings, done everything I could think of, and still no luck. Pressing the Record button in WaveStudio records total silence when my Audigy Soundblaster is playing other stuff. What can I do to fix it's I will do ANYTHING, even update, but can't find any updates I can purchase.

Check your Control Panel - Sound and Audio Devices. Under Audio tab, ensure that Audigy sound card is selected as the recording sound card.
Have you also try uninstall and reinstall the WaveStudio?

Sorry for all the rookie mistakes.. wasnt software at all. there was something physically wrong with the sound card. Replaced it. And everything is fine. In Hindsight though I've learned a lot from this. The belarc program was very helpful, along withe driver tool kit. Thanks again for all the wonderful insight.

I accidentally uninstalled my sound card driver and cannot retrieve

I tried a system restore but it said a group of people is not allowing it. Anyway, that is beside the point. I lost the CD along with the box, but the sound card is still in my computer, how do I install a driver so I am capable of using the sound card again? Thanks.
