Help! crop and move curser distorted in Windows 7

I bought a new PC and was afflicted with Windows 7. The latest thing to hate is this issue with my Photoshop move and crop too.
The crop and move curser is distorted. Instead of the crop tool curser, it's 3 of them pixelated in a row, same with the move tool. It is the same with CS4 and CS2. I tried removing and reinstalling twice and no help. Anyone seen this?

Also in addition to updating your video card driver, i've seen that happen when
the system dpi scaling is set higher than 96.
Check under Appearance and Personalization>Adjust Font Size and see what it's set to.

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:

How do I delete itunes library and move library from old windows machine to

My daughter bought a new macbook and would like to move her itunes library from the windows machine to the mac. I copied it to the mac and moved the existing itunes folder to the trash. By the way, she got 3 free downloads from Apple and they were in the library I moved to the trash bin. I then moved the backup folder to the location of the itunes folder I had deleted. When I open itunes, it sees the 3 songs in the deleted folder. How do I get itunes to recognoze the new itunes folder?

Thank you. As I understand it, if the original iTunes folder had never been populated, we would have been able to move the library exported from Windows into iTunes and preserve the playlists. Because my daughter downloaded 3 songs she does not even like, we have no way of preserving playlists? There must be some way to remove all connections to the first library. Is it possible remove the iTunes application and then either re-install it from the original disks or else download it. I know you can download iTunes for Windows, not sure if it is there for Macs. My guess is that if she starts itunes from scratch, there would be no references to the intial DB and we could then move in the folder from Windows without a problem.

I have Imovie 9.02 installed but it fails to show videoclips and movies in the show window. What can I do to make it function? This functioned in an earlier version.

In an earlier version of Imovie I was able to see every clip in the show window. This does not function with my present version. I hava also changed from Mac Book to Mac Book Pro butI cannot se why this should have anything to do with the problem. I have also tried with an extra screen but it does not help. You can only buy content from your own country's store, to buy from the US store you will need to be in the US with a US billing address on your account. You can try requesting that the film be added to the Australian store, but unless the film studio/rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

In Lion, sometimes clicking on close button or tabs doesn't respond as if the buttons aren't there, i have to move the cursor away and move back to make them work again, anyone can help me?

I'm not sure if anyone had run into this issue. Clicking the same place on the display sevral times will cause the click to stop working. For example, if i open safari and click on the Show Reading List button, it will work the first time i click it, but stop responding to my command as i click more, as if the button is not there, i have to move away the cursor and click somewhere else and move back to click the button to make it work again. And it happened everywhere, not just the show reading list button. The scrolling and moving are normal.
In fact, I have my trackpad replaced in an apple store for this issue but it turned out this is not a hardware problem, and it is not only my problem. Ironically, i found the same issue on several of the demo Macs inside the apple store. So anyone can help me here? Thanks.

Firefox 22 has a new way of setting the default zoom level: it is based on your Windows font size setting. So, if you set Windows fonts to 125% (enlarged 25%), your Firefox pages also will be enlarged 25%. On pages that do not adjust their layout, you may get a horizontal scroll bar.
To reduce the zoom on a page, hold Ctrl and tap the - key (the one on the numeric keypad or the one on the number row of the keyboard). The zoom should be reduced for each tap.
If you want to globally adjust your zoom level to be lower, you can use either of these add-ons:

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help. Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.

The curse of the windows 7 freeze....ack help

First let me start by saying i have seen the many other post about this very issue and none of which have helped me. I also realize that this post is long, but I am trying to be as detailed as possible. So in hopes of not exceeding bandwith here goes:
I am experiencing the persistant idle freeze. No mouse No task manager kill etc. Hard shutdown only. I do not have to remove my battery for this. The freeze occurs when idle. If i boot the pc and walk away i can come back minutes later and it will be frozen, even at the windows log on screen. So i must run a scan, or typically i run my playlist muted so that it does not freeze. After reading other posts on this topics i have tried such suggestions with no luck. Such as:
1. Updated Bios
2. Updated all drivers
3. Removed Norton, AVG and installed Avira(have done scans with Avira, malwarebytes, CC cleaner...no viruses)
4. I have disabled all hibernation, standby etc and even screen saver.
5. Disabled AeroPeek and have locked taskbar
6. Perfomed disk clean up, check disk, systems scans etc. Harddrive etc all good, no heating issues, etc
Now i cannot do a defrag.... freezes. Cannot run defrag in safe mode.....nothing happens wont come up.
This pc is less than 3 months old, problem start occuring one month after purchase. The only programs i have installed are ym messenger, aol messenger and imvu. All of which work fine. Although i have also noticed that since this problem has occured my IMVU has slowed but that might be do to a new release of imvu itself. (release was loaded with many xtra doo hickeys)
I cannot run process explorer to see what program is causing this, simply because If i run it, it wont freeze...(yep awesome i know)) I also tried though CMD.....same result although i did atleast get some OCX files registered (nightmare number 2)
I cannot remove and reinstall windows 7, since my pc had it pre installed and i did not read the small print that said make a media image when opening this rather large box..... FML...waiting on delivery from toshiba..
Since i use this pc for college....it is vital i have it, and sending in a 3 month old pc, is not..........kosher to my needs. Especially from what i have seen in forums....is a new HD installed problem returning month later.
ok......FML its taken me about 5 hours to type this since i am work and have been interrupted all day. but NO freezes and here is why i think. I Disabled Toshiba Service Center.. mostly because i found running 43k kbs for a useless program to be (insert favorite profanity) and since then i have not froze. So instead of deleting this post I will leave it up and in days to come I will post if i am cured or not, although for 5 hrs now i have not froze. I will also include my system specs and if anyone has any other ideas please feel free to respond. Thank ye (profanity).
1 last thing... has this happened with other brands or is it limited to Win7/toshiba products? Cos ill kick myself in the ass if it is and i didnt buy the HP that was next to my pc

ahhhh more fun, 3 windows updates are now causing a no boot, Black screen. Everytime i must do a system restore and i see the logs of the updates, anyone know what the cause of this problem is?

Your problem is normally caused by a program locking the iTunes library so that iTunes can't close properly. There have been a number of causes fro this.
There is a problem with media management software Vaio xml library Manager, the Vaio content manager and the Vaio Music Box software

Work around:
In Control Panel, turn off Vaio Content Folder Watcher and VAIO Content Metadata Intelligent Analyzing Manager.

Sony has issued upgrades for some models, check you Sony download site to see if there is one available.
I would check the work around first.
If that's not it, try temporarily disabling you continuous backup to see if that is the cause.

Help getting an image to scale and move?

I have a still image in the timeline and I select it to load it back in the Source Window.
- On the first frame I select the Position and Scale watch icons.
- I then click to add a keyframe for both Position and Scale.
- I drag the Playhead to the last frame
- I add a keyframe for both Position and Scale on the last frame
- I scale the image down on the last frame
- I change it position by typing in a new coordinate
However, when I drag through the clip with the Playhead nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

The first one is easy enough. You are not looking in the right place. It isn't in the sequence, they are on the timeline in the Effect Controls panel.
You need to look in the Effect Controls panel - see the red circles around the keyframes. If your panel does not show the images timeline in the Effect Controls panel, the second image shows you the arrow to click on.
You might want to try putting the keyframes a bit in from the beginning and a bit in from the end. That way you can see the keyframes easier. Once set the way you want them, you can select the keyframes and move the to the beginning or the end as required. Do this just so you can see the keyframes easier at first. Warning, you might want to zoom all the way in at the beginning and the end to make sure the keyframe is at the beginning or the end. Sometimes dragging it does not get it all the way there.
Your second issue is possibly more complicated. If you set the motion parameters before you click on the stopwatches, and you do not change anything after setting the stopwatches, then you must manually set a keyframe for each
If you set the stopwatches, then change the settings (both of them), the keyframes are placed for you. Once you move the CTI, if you change either motion setting, new keyframes will appear.
Let me know if this helps. Otherwise I will be more specific with my next tutorial.

HELP!!!! How to crop and save an image

I recently started using iPhoto when I bought a digital camera. I have figured out pretty much how to use it but I would like to crop AND SAVE some of the pictures. I have gone so far as to crop an image and print it but the print comes out like the original shot. Also is there some way to convert these images into smaller file sizes and saving for uploading onto another website? Thanks in advance! .
