Help.... CS5 Trial does not work :(?

Okay, so I download the Photoshop CS5 Trial, a while back(Maybe a week or 2? Less?) and everytime I try to launch photoshop, it tells me my trial has expired, how can this be? And why? This happened from the beginning of me downloading it, not just right now, I am only coming right now, because I have a project for school that I need to do in 2 weeks. Please help me!

Your license has expired. The Trial photoshop have time to use, and its expired. The trial is only photoshop for you to try, see how the new version of photoshop.
I advise you to buy Photoshop CS5 Extended. The duration is unlimited, that is, forever.

At the time that PrE ceases to function, do you have any warning, or error messages in your Windows Event Viewer?
If you do, and any have links in them, please follow those links, as they might yield useful clues. Unfortunately, many such warning, and error messages will just be meaningless code, but the ones with links can lead to a cause, such as a low-level driver interfering with the OS.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), most users do not have similar problems, so can only offer some broad suggestions, based on problems, about which we have read. I know that it looks like we're throwing out a lot of "stuff," and I guess that we are, but so far, nothing in your system, or setup is really jumping off the screen. We have eliminated, via your tests, many common issues.
Wish that we had something concrete to offer, and maybe an Adobe Staff member will jump in, and spot something that the rest of us are missing. What you describe, when most potential causes have been eliminated, sounds like a conflict with a real-time scanning anti-virus, anti-malware, or anti-something program. With the real-time scanning anti programs, they have a tendency to "lock" files, that are necessary to run PrE, on both reads and writes, but you have turned OFF all such programs, so I am now at a loss. Sorry.
Good luck, and I agree with you, that if the trial does not run on the system, buying the full-paid version is likely to encounter the same issue(s), and render the program unusable.

HELP! Scroll does not work on pressario CQ60 touchpad.

I know this has been covered before but I am very illiterate in this subject and need step by step instructions, please bear with me.
I have a Compaq Pressario CQ60-300EV, the scroll function on the touchpad stopped working very suddenly after only two months. Also when i type i often accidentally touch the touchpad, i have tried to turn this off but this does not work, the light colour does change.
I have read replies that say go into:
control panel-mouse-settings then change the horizontal whatever it is,
I don't appear to have anything under mouse that says horizontal.
Please help I'm desperate.

Dreamweaver CS5 ftp does not work after my host server was updated

I'm on an iMac running Mavericks.
I'm using Dreamweaver CS 5.5 from the creative suite.
Suddenly the FTP function in Dreamweaver does not work.
My website host stated that they were forced to upgrade their server software for FTP and the Dreamweaver was not compatible.
Will there be an upgrade soon to resolve the problem? I'm having to use Filezilla to upload/download files from my site and it's a real pain compared to just using Dreamweaver.

DWCS5.5 hasn't received an update in years and is no longer supported by Adobe. The chances of there being an update for any new compatibility issue is pretty much slim to none.
If (and it's a big if) your hosting company actually did something that made DW itself incompatible with the server, you would just have to use some other FTP program, like the free Filezilla client, to do your uploads.
Not a big deal, just a small extra step.

Cs5 serialnumber does not work

CS5 serial number does not work after new installation. Operating system is booted and CS 5 was not deactivated so.
What can I do?

A few questions:
Which operating system version are you using?
What message are you seeing indicating that the serial number is not working? Please share the text or even better a screen shot.

F4 search help on ECP does not work

Hello experts,
Using a WBS with ECP and displaying the cost amounts, the F4 search help on 'Base unit of Measure' does not work. Please let me know if anybody has encountered this before and if so whether it is a SAP error or whether there is some setting which has not been configured correctly.

Applescript help - keystroke part does not work

Hi guys, I'm new to Applescript and would like some assistance. I have an application called iVPN that I would like to start with some applescript code - just one problem in that it requires the admin password at startup.
I tried the following, but once the dialogue box appears to enter the password, nothing happens. It seems to stop just before the "delay 10" line. I've also tried it with just the keystroke line, but nothing happens (no password appears in the dialogue box that pops up).

Indesign cs5 Trial Download not working.

Hey,
Ive downloaded the trial version of Indesign but when i try to open it up it asks me to log into my adobe account, so i put in all my details, it authenticates my Adobe ID then comes back at me and says "Could not start your Adobe CS Live Subscription at this time, please try again later." it contiues to open up InDesign and then pops up with a window saying "Adobe Indesign is not licensed properly and will not quit."
Please Help me! it doesn't matter how often i try i keep gettin the same result.

There should be a "skip this step" option if you look closely during the install.
That said, it kind of sounds like you got the installer to finish, so reinstalling the trial may not be an option. CS Live would only be available for a paid license...

The deactivation option on my copy of Photoshop CS5 64 does not work. How can I get this deactivated so I can re-install?

when I try to deactivate Photoshop no deactivation screen comes up. I want to reinstall on my PC after a complete system clean and reinstallation of Windows so I really need to get Photoshop deactivated. I'm at a loss as to how to make contact with any support person at Adobe to get this done. be gratefully received.

I went through this a couple of years ago when I built a new desktop. I needed to move my copy of PS CS5 to the new desktop and couldn't get the Deactivate system to work. I had installed PS CS5 on 2 different computers, older desktop and newer notebook.
After calling Adobe, IIRC (that was when you could actually call them), I was told not to worry about it. Just uninstall from the old computer, and or Don't Ever Use CS5 on the old computer again, and install it to the new one. I didn't have any problems. Activation went through without any problems.

Help, my Bridge does not works well with my AfterEffect. does not preview .ffx files

I have some problem with my Bridge. When i browse preset from my After Effect in Bridge, it won't preview all of the After Effect preset(*.ffx), but my Bridge works well with photoshop files, it will preview all the photo files inculding .PSD. Does anyone knows what's the problem? Anyone knows how to fix it? I need help to fix this problem to get my work in AfterEffect, it is very hard to get things work it won't preview the preset. Thanks.

Audition cs5.5 does not work

I'm trying the audition demo cs5.5
When I start the app I get the message mme device internal error ; check your audio harware
When i choose the appropriate driver for my hardware - asio . i get the error again and audition resets the drive to mme
Then I have no plackback
After that i can't start audition no more it crashes the audio driver and closes with windows error
When i delete the audtion 4.0 folder in appdata - roaming , i can start again but the process is repeated
other versions of audition i used work fine with my soundcard :
e-mu 1616pci
on windows 7 32-bit

I can't give you details, as it's a Mac - but the chances are that if you have imported all of your Audition settings from a previous machine, that one of them is essentially wrong for the new machine. So even though the preference appear to be correct, they aren't.
To give you an idea though, the thing to do is to read this FAQ:
Restoring the default settings for Audition CS6
It's essentially the same as for 5.5, except that the final target directory may have a lower number (like 4...). I'd pay particular attention to the section at the end, just before Durin's extra comment - it's probably this file that's incorrect.

Help! Demo does not work

I met a problem while I tried to run the XML sample 'WebStore B2B Exchange'.
I am using Oracle8.1.7, Apache WebServer 1.3.12 and Apache JServ 1.1. Most of things are OK now, except that when the XSQL servlet wants to creat an AQ connection with oracle database, the application terminates errorly.
The following sentence is what I found in the JServ.log file:
Servlet Error:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.jdbc.driver.oracleConnection: method getTypeMap()Ljava/util/Dictionary; not found
at org.apache.jserv.JServConnection.processRequest(JServConnection.java)
at org.apache.jserv.JServConnection.run(JServConnection.java)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:479)
I think the problem is still how to configure the Apache JServ or some other parts.
Sincerely hope that some friends could help me to solve this problem.

I see that you are using 8.1.7, but the WebStore demo was built and tested using 8.1.6. This is just a guess, but maybe you should use a different JDBC driver. Here are some things to try:
- Edit setbxbenv.bat to configure the sample app environment. Down near the bottom of this file are some lines you can uncomment to use classes111.zip and xsu111.jar. Then comment out the lines that use classes12.zip and xsu12.jar.
- Edit jserv.properties to configure Apache JServ as described in the XSQL Servlet Release Notes (by default, it is installed in c:\xsql\doc\relnotes.html). The Release Notes explain how to configure JServ to use the Oracle JDBC 1.x drivers instead of the Oracle JDBC 2.0 drivers.
