Help! Deactivation of account here when the device is sold to another person.

Do  i have to deactivate my account here so that the new owner of the phone will be able to receive notifications, as well as to create their own account? Please help me!

You DO need to deactivate your BlackBerry account with your mobile service provider to whom you paid your monthly fees, Globe. Have them remove the PIN and IMEI of the device from your account. That will make it 'free' to set up for another user.

  • BB Desktop software crushes when the device is connected

     Each time i try  the Blackberry desktop software it crushes when the device is connected . I tried instaling and reinstaling (using clen uninstall0 it to no avail . I checked the  Rim.Desktop.Exception log and i get this :

    I have a program that sends information(analog output) to lab windows cvi in the form of a text file or user input.
    The program runs on the computers that I have the field point explorer and lab windows cvi installed on. In order to run the program without always installing labwindows/cvi and field point; I wanted to create an executable file that could be load on another computer.
    I used the create distribution kit part of labwindows/cvi to do this.After creating the distribution kit, I then installed it
    to another computer.
    My user interface appears on the screen, when the user clicks on the exe. file, but no data is sent to the field point module. I know that the data is being read from the user and textfile because in it appears in the uir.
    The following are some details about the problem:
    1. On another computer without labwindows/cvi and field point explorer not installed - no data is sent to field point module
    I know this because a current is being read on the current meter connected to field point module.
    My questions are the following:
    1. What are the possible reasons for the data not being sent to the field point module?
    2. Do I still need to create an iak. (Installing Field point Explorer) file stored on any new computer that I install my created distribution kit file too?

    1) If you do not install FieldPoint Explorer, the FieldPoint Server is not installed so there is nothing on the target computer that knows how to talk to the FieldPoint system.
    2) Yes, you need an IAK file on the target computer. Assuming the settings (i.e. com port#) are identical you can simply include the iak file as part of the distribution.
    3) You also need to include as part of your installer the file "fplwmgr.dll". If this file is not installed, your program will not be able to access the FieldPoint Server. Alternatively, this file is installed automatically if FieldPoint Explorer detects LabWindows/CVI or Measurement Studio Development versions on the target computer or if you choose to do a custom FieldPoint Explorer installation and
    choose to provide LabWindows/CVI support.

  • App download stuck on waiting on iPhone 6 plus when the app is purchased on another device

    iPhone 6 Plus on AT&T running iOS 8.1.2. When I purchase or "get" an app on my macbook, the app shows up on the 6 plus, but hangs in "waiting." The app, however, will download perfectly on my iPad mini. I have tried restarting the device normally, and restarting it while pressing the home and sleep buttons (hard reset?), resetting network settings, signing out of iTunes and back in, and even setting up the phone as new. The problem occurred before and after doing a complete restore and setting it up as new. The only solution that works is removing the app while in "waiting" status, and initiating the download from the 6 plus itself. I don't know if this is a bug that will be resolved in 8.2 or if I am missing something. (automatic downloads are on and set for both updates and new app downloads, wifi is working) There are no other problems with app downloads on the 6 plus; auto-updates work perfectly. This issue only happens when the download is initiated on another device.

    if you dont have the options to forget network you can reset your network settings, but than the device forget all networks
    settings > general > reset > reset network settings

    I am adding a submit button to submit the form. When the device is online submit works and when offline appropriate message is displayed. I was wondering if device or reader submit form (previously submitted offline) automatically again. Is there any mechanism to check if the device is online again and send the pending forms automatically?

  • HT5463 In my opinion, when the Silence setting is "only when the device is locked", it contradicts the settings you set above, like Manual. Can someone explain how these settings work together?

    Can someone explain how these settings work together? Manual seams to contraduct the SILENCE setting at the bottom of the Do Not Disturb page. It's very confusing.

    You should have seen information in the support document that you linked from. It used to be with the first version of Do Not Disturb that it would only function when the device was locked. That changed with iOS 7, and not it can be active all of the time. With it on Manual, it is on, but if you have the device "awake" that you can still receive calls/texts, etc. Sort of like you have the phone awake, so it isn't a problem for you to receive things. If you set the settings for Always, this means you can be doing things on the phone and not be disturbed by anything else. Does that make sense?

  • HT2101 Anyone else get the "iPod too hot" message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool?

    My iPod Touch 4 repeatedly gets the iPod too hot message, even when the device and ambient temp are both cool.  Shuts itself off.  Ugh!

  • E71 seems to play up when the device gets cold

    I am having a problem with my E71 which seems to only occur when the device gets cold.  The keyboard freezes up (cannot type or unlock my keyboard), the voice command thing turns on randomly (the annoying little beeping thing which follows with say a command).
    If i put the device infront of a heater for a few seconds to warm it up it seems to work again.  Anyone else having these problems? I live in Canada where it is always cold so the phone's problems need to be fixed.
    Is this just my phone telling me it doesnt like the cold and is normal? Or does it need a visit to the phone shop to get fixed??

    hadimassa thanks for the response........ but would the battery only mess with the keyboard and make the voice commands randomly go off?? would it not mess with more of the phones features??
