Help Deleting Iphone 5C Photo Library

Hi all,
I have an iPhone 5C and I just noticed today that nearly all of my data is taken up. When I check in settings>General>Usage, It says that I have used 5.7 GB on Photos and Camera. I deleted all of my camera roll pictures and videos and it still says this. I went to iTunes, went to my phone's tab, went to the photos tab, and I had not synced any photos from anywhere. However, it still says that I have 1150 photos from "Photo Library" that I can not seem to delete. Please help me get rid of these photos so I can regain storage on my phone.

I went to the Apple Store today and fixed the problem. Apparently it is false memory that is from some glitch while syncing. Backup your iPhone on your iCloud account, reset your phone to factory settings, then restore your settings from iCloud.

How can i delete the complete Photo Library, as i can delete from the camera roll, but there dosent seem to be an obvious way to completely delete the Photo Library or items in the library either? There is no delete option like for the user generated albums...

I'm sorry but the way you worded the question I thought you were referring to iPhoto's library on the computer. I don't use an iPhone or the iPhoto app, so I can't answer your question in that regard.

Iphone 5 photo library

iPhone 5, Photo Library is taking up 2,8 GB space with only 500 odd photos.
I don't have any photos synced using iTunes from my computer.
I have not turned on the 'iCloud Photo Library (Beta)'
I have not turned on the 'my photo stream' option either
I don't know what is taking up this much space.

Hey, basically, you have 2 options:
1. Import photos from your iPhone to your computer (Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your Mac or Windows PC - Apple Support) and delete them from your iPhone.
2. Try SafeEraser's 'Photo Compressor' option. It enables you to backup your photos to your computer and compress the large ones on your iPhone to small size. After doing this, photos will be kept on your iPhone and occupy less space.

Go to Settings>General>Usage, and under iCloud, click on Manage Storage>click on your device, then under Backup Options, turn Photo Library off and then back on. See if that clears it up.
If it does not, reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.

Sync iPhone 4 Photo Library with iPhoto?

How do I sync my iPhone 4 Photo Library with iPhoto? I am able to sync the Camera Roll with iPhoto, but I cannot locate the Photo Library (899 pictures) when syncing from iPhone to iPhoto.

The photo sync is one way - computer to iphone.
You cannot sync the photo library form iphone to computer. Since the pics came from your computer in the first place, they should still be there and should be included with your regular backup of your computer. The iphone is not a storage device.
The pics are reduced in resolution when synced to iphone anyway.

Iphone 6, photo library "downloading"

I purchased my iPhone 6 about a month ago, it was already backed up through Icloud and on my old iPhone 5s. Since purchasing it and updating, and restoring my camera roll has been saying downloading, when I connect it to iTunes it says that I have 900 photos and videos on it, when in reality its only 500 which are some that were transferred over and the others that I've uploaded since then!! Has anyone else experienced this issues, I currently have sprint and they said that it wasn't an issue on their part, so I've tried contacting Apple and nothing!!

Just migrate from iPhone 5 32GB to iPhone 6 64GB (using iTunes backup and restore). Migrated my 19.6GB of photo library to my new iPhone 6 as well.
However, browsing through my photos on the new iPhone 6 has very slow-responsiveness, and sometime just freezes. Have not encountered such issue on my old iPhone 5. Tried reset the iPhone 6, restore iOS 8.0.2 using iTunes, but without much helps.
Just wondering if anyone having similar issue, and with any tips and tricks to resolve this?

Need help with iPhone 5 photo albums

Hi everyone, new here and just got my iPhone 5 yesterday. I have been using apple products for quite some time now so nothing is really all that new too me and I understand a majority of its difficulties although I have reached a road block. Heres the problem:
I have been using my iPod Touch to take photos for a while now and I just recently got the iPhone 5. So I hooked up my iPhone 5 and synced everything and it all went pretty smooth and the only thing wrong is that I have two albums under pictures on my iPhone that contain the exact same photos. They are all pictures that were taken on my iPod Touch that were transferred onto my PC and then I used the folder that contained those images to sync with my iPhone. Now when I sync the folder to my iPhone, there is a "Photo Library" album with 206 pictures then the "iPod" album (the name of the folder on my computer) which also contains the same 206. Any way I can get rid of one of them? I have tried and only succeeded in getting rid of both of the albums nad not just one. Thanks for any and all help! IPhone 4 Photo Library Rebuilding Error

Hi there,
I recently ran into a problem with my photos/videos on my phone(not jailbroken)--my photo library and camera have become completely inaccessable.
When I tried to send an MMS, the photo library said that it had to rebuild. It began to rebuild and crashed. It has done this before, but I have always been able to fix it either by just opening the library again or turning off/on my phone. That was not the case this time. I tried opening my camera to take a photo because that had helped in past situations, but it did the same as the library--began rebuilding then crashed and back to the home screen. BUT before the camera closed, I was able to see the thumbnail in the lower left corner of the last photo taken. This has to mean the photos are still there, right?
I have reset it multiple times and am hoping I will not have to do a complete factory restore.
After hours of trying to fix it on my own, I am near the point of giving up hope.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

Iphone 4 photo library missing

The "photo library" on my iphone 4 suddenly missing today for no reason. Can anyone help me with that issue please? Thank you very much.

Here's the Solution:
- go to itunes > edit > preferences > Devices
- Reset Sync History
- click OK
- restart computer
- open itunes and connect iPhone
- choose to sync a folder under photo tab
- disconnect when sync is finished
- force reboot the iPhone by holding down the power button
- you should be able to see the synced photos now

Am I able to delete the "migrated photo library" after I convert from iPhoto to Photos?

I've recently converted to the new Photos app in OSX and have noticed there is a large library with the iPhotos library logo (52.1Gb). I'm wondering if I can safely delete this without losing any pictures from my Photos library. or if not, what is its purpose and why is it so large?

I have! And it seems that iPod cache is quite large. I think I'll go ahead and delete that and see if it reduces in size if I resync my device (I have reduced the amount of pictures I sync)
I have also deleted some files and events since trasferring to Photos (in an attempt to clear disk space). Would those changes reflect in the iPhoto library or is that a snapshot of my iPhoto library at the time of trasfer? I'm satisfied with my Photos library, so I may go ahead and delete the iPhoto one since its larger (I also have a backup on a drive of the full library before deleting)

There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right.
