HELP! Does anyone know how to do this effect?

You know the common special effect when a person is "thinking back" or "remembering something." The picture does kind of a wave effect so that it looks like the person's thoughts are going back in time. Know what i mean?
Can this be done in FCE??? How??? I would REALLY APPRECIATE your help!

You could try a slow ripple dissolve. You really need an animateable filter. CHV has some. I'm not sure if they have one that does what you want.

if that does not work you can force quit a computer shut down by hold the power button for an extended period.

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Report any errors it found for Disk Repair, don't need the ones for Permissions Repair.
Try it again & see if anything changed, but have Activity Monitor open & Show All Processes & sorted on CPU%, also have Console open if we can... maybe not when switching, but we'll see.
Does this happen if you just try to create a new admin user???

Internal speakers are not working, they're not showing up at all. Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is kind of confusing, on the one hand you say "it says all images are there" and then you directly contradict this by saying "it is only showing 1 card's images at a time".
Could you explain in a lot more detail what you see (and don't say "it", say exactly what part of Lightroom or what part of your operating system you are looking at), or show us a screen capture?

Got the latest Itunes (11, I think) and now it says that 'Itunes.itl isn't working because it's a newer version of Itunes' and when I go to my older Itunes, the F7, F8 and F9 buttons won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, so I got the latest update and apparently it doesn't work. I had an icon on my desktop that wouldn't open because the 'newer Itunes' is apparently corrupt or something. Going into my applications, I found another Itunes icon and it opens up, but not the F7, F8 and F9 keys aren't working with it. I've already tried installing the latest version and that hasn't helped. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

There is a good possibility that your trimming of the SIM card could have damaged it some way. If the SIM was working in the old phone, then you cut it and the first new phone didn't work and now this phone doesn't work, it leads me to believe it has to do with the SIM card or the account. You are sure there is no problem with the account. Did you check with the provider when you got the iPhone 4 to make sure there was no problem with the account when you could not send or receive SMS? Why can't you just get a micro-sim? The iPhone should have come with one when you purchased it.The iPhone 4 is designed for a micro-sim. I don't believe this is a hardware problem unless the phone has been hacked or modified in some manner.
