Help!! Downloaded 2.0 software this morning...

Everyone has been saying that the 2.0 software update this morning had some problems and actually I have been having a few problems with it, some applications are malfunctioning, sometimes my iPhone gets totally stuck in the Favorites list when I press my home button and the only way to get out of it is to do a soft reset. Can anyone help me pleaseeee how do I revert back to 1.1.4 and then download 2.0 again?? I downloaded the remote software and it doesn't work, it gives me a pass code and nothing pops up on my computer, i have no where to enter the pass code on my computer, where the pass code is given to me on my iPhone through the "Remote" application... thanks if you could help...

ok obviously no one's gonna help me with this, it's been to long for anyone to reply,i might as well delete this question in the next 5 minutes

I Think you have system sounds muted. Don't reset anything just yet.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center if you are running iOS 7 or 8. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
If you are running iOS 5 or iOS 6, the system sound control is in the task bar at the bottom. Double tap the home button and swipe all the way to the right in the task bar to get to the speaker icon on the left side. Tap on that and the sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.

HT1212 I updated the software this morning to os7 and it never asked for a passcode, however, to use it now I need a passcode. I do not know what it is, so my phone is now disabled. Solution?

This morning the phone said new software was available so I downloaded and upgraded my system to os7. During startup it requested an icloud password, but never any other passowrd. So imagine my surprise when I tried to sue the phone and it was disabled because it would not take the icloud passcode. How do I get my phone working again?

My iPod touch can't syncing with the computer or download apps by itself this morning. What can I do?

I just got up this morning and tried to download some apps on the appstore, but I couldn't. It said: An unknown error has occurred. Then, I tried to connect it to my macbook pro and sync the song to the ipod. It said "the ipod could not be synced because the sync sesssion failed to start" . What can I do to fix it?

How about some additional detail like iPod OS, router make and model, encryption you use on your network, examples of troubleshooting you have tried?

I misplaced my iPhone this morning at church. I couldn't find it and a friend with a phone called it to help me and mentioned "tracking it" We were able to hear it ring and found it. HELP!!!! My computer (macbook pro) updated software this morning, and when I plug my iphone (4s) in, imovie NO LONGER RECOGNIZES THE PHONE!

I have movies on my phone I need to get off and into imovie to edit and get out by tomorrow! Can anyone help?
When I look at the "import movies" on imovie, it only shows the "built in isight" as an option - and there are movies on my phone that I can see on there!

You will need to use either iPhoto or Image Capture to import in the videos then import them into iMovie. If they are in iPhoto, iMovie will have access to them.

I downloaded the new iOS this morning and now my overdrive can not open my book.

With the new Apple IOS 7 I can no longer open my selected book from the library in the overdrive app. Is anyone else having this problem?

overdrive may have an update coming soon, check with them on that.
you can also try and delete the app and download it again to see if that changes anything

IPAD1 tried to install new operating software this morning, but failed. Restore failed

My IPAD1 tried to update itself on Itunes today, but failed.
It has now gone blank and shows only a picture asking it to be connected to Itunes.
When you connect it Itunes says it needs to be restored.
The restore then fails and Itunes says it cant be restored.It gives an Error number 2003.
Anybody got any ideas?

The same happened to me. I had a working ipad then I sync and itune told me I needed to update to iOS 5 and I clicked ok. It erased my previous iOS but cannot install the new one. All I get is a usb cord image with the itune note.
I called apple and they couldn't help me. I went to the store and they couldn't help me. They offered to sell me a new ipad at half price ($260 or so). I refused. As far as I am concerned apple screwed up and I have to pay the price.
The tech said apple is not aware of any problem with this so the best he can do is sell me a new ipad. I even showed him this thread.

HT1600 After updating my Apple TV software this morning, I now have no sound. It is hooked up to play through my television speakers. Any ideas on how to get sound back? It was working fine before the update.

I have tried re-booting Apple TV as well as the television, etc.

Have you tried adjusting the "Audio Out" and the "Dolby Digital" settings in settings > audio and video? It may be worth trying several combinations of these settings, although typically it is the "Dolby Digital" setting that causes most problems for users.
Also make sure that you have correctly mapped the input port on your sound system to the output, if you are unsure about how to do this, refer to the manual that came with your sound system.
Have you tried playing various content sources (i.e. podcasts, music, iTunes Store video, other video etc), do you have the same problem with all types of content? If you use optical you might also check that you can see a red light at the end of your optical audio cable. Is your optical audio cable plugged straight into your sound system, or does it go through a switch or other device?
